Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: The Perfect Learning Plan.

A faint burning sensation spread from his leg, which should have been completely numb and insensitive. Although it was very faint, Du Cheng felt it very clearly.

This made Du Cheng extremely excited. Although he didn't know if the gentle moxibustion could completely cure his limp, he was sure it would have some effect.

"Xin'er, given the current situation, how long will it take for my limp to be cured?" Du Cheng asked Xin'er with some expectation, as Gu Sixin's birthday banquet was on the 7th of next month, which was less than fifteen days away. If possible, Du Cheng hoped to be cured of his limp by then.

As for tomorrow's date with Gu Sixin, that is, of course, out of the question.

"I can't be sure, it will probably take a few years," Xin'er replied sweetly, blinking her beautiful eyes.

"Several years..." Du Cheng's expression changed slightly, showing some disappointment. However, his excitement was still greater than his disappointment. After all, he was still young, and if his limp could be cured in a few years, it would be an immense blessing for him.

"You seem to be in a hurry. Are you planning to attend someone's birthday party?" However, Xin'er's originally adorable appearance instantly vanished and transformed into Gu Sixin, teasing Du Cheng and acting like a little devil.

Du Cheng was stunned for a moment, then couldn't help but laugh, "You little devil!"

Xin'er nodded smugly and then said, "Alright, I won't lie to you anymore. Your foot injury isn't serious. If you spend more than six hours a day on phototherapy, it should be possible to cure it in fifteen days."

"It seems I won't be able to go to school these days." Upon hearing that, Du Cheng had already made up his mind. Except for a few important classes, he would stay home the rest of the time.

"Du Cheng, don't worry. I can teach you anything you want to learn in school. In fact, if you're interested, I can even have you acquire more advanced knowledge from the future. Of course, there's a requirement: you need to have enough time."

Xin'er was not at all convinced. After a pause, she continued, "As your intelligent partner, Xin'er has already designed a perfect learning plan for you. If you are willing to work hard, you can go as far as you want."

"There's a curriculum too?" Du Cheng was clearly surprised that Xin'er had prepared a curriculum for him. Intrigued by that mysterious knowledge from the future, Du Cheng immediately asked Xin'er.

Du Cheng was an intelligent man. He knew that if he could master the technology of the future, he would have an opportunity that no one else could surpass.

At that moment, Xin'er became unusually serious. After nodding, she said with some regret, "Due to an anomaly in the system database, this learning program only covers up to the year 2500."

"That's enough, let's set the year 2500 as the deadline for now." Du Cheng was not ambitious. He was fully confident that by mastering the technology and knowledge of the next ten years, he could achieve his dream, let alone mastering the technology and knowledge of the next five hundred.

Seeing Du Cheng nod, Xin'er showed a mischievous smile and said, "This learning program focuses mainly on four areas: physical fitness, virtue, wisdom, and arts. Each area is further divided into twelve major categories and thirty-six minor categories. Among them, physical fitness includes boxing, leg techniques, spear techniques, sword techniques..."

For each introduction, Xin'er played a short video. Just presenting this learning plan took nearly an hour, while Du Cheng listened with an impassive expression.

"No wonder it's called a perfect learning plan. If you could learn all this, would you still be human?"

After Xin'er's intervention, Du Cheng was completely speechless. The perfect curriculum that Xin'er had presented covered practically every major aspect and sector.

The body (physical fitness) category mainly includes various martial arts that Du Cheng knew or was completely unaware of, as well as training methods for various bodily functions.

Virtue encompasses the selection of all etiquette norms accumulated over thousands of years, both domestically and internationally, as well as the cultivation of a person's character and conduct.

Wisdom encompasses the essence of all cutting-edge human civilization, including military strategy, business, finance, technology, etc.

Arts encompass the essence of acting, vocal music, various musical instruments, and dance.

Most importantly, each category, both major and minor, has a large number of instructional videos, the level of detail of which surpassed Du Cheng's imagination.

It is fair to say that even the most intelligent human would need several hundred years to master all four areas of physical fitness, morality, intelligence, and art.

"Xin'er, you don't really want me to learn this, do you? I know my limitations. I'm afraid I won't even be able to learn a small part of it by the time I'm in my coffin," Du Cheng said with a wry smile. Although the plan was perfect, Du Cheng's aptitude was limited. Even if he wanted to learn, he wouldn't be capable of much.

Xin'er looked at Du Cheng proudly and said confidently, "With Xin'er here, what are you worried about?"

"Xin'er, do you have an idea?" Du Cheng's eyes lit up. If it had been anyone else, Du Cheng would surely have scoffed, but since it was Xin'er, he was already 80% convinced.

"Of course, don't you know who I am? I am an intelligent program from the year 3009 AD." Xin'er laughed smugly and arrogantly, and continued, "My dear Du Cheng, if your potential is sufficient, although I can't let you completely master all four major domains in a short time, I guarantee I can make you master the essence of the four in ten years. As for the others, you can learn them when you have the opportunity."

Du Cheng understood what Xin'er meant. Not all rules in every domain were necessary for him. For example, in the domain of morality, there were some ancient norms he didn't need to learn. Even if he found himself in such a situation, he would only need to recall them temporarily.

The same applies to physical and artistic skills; only intelligence presents some differences. The various categories, both general and specific, that intelligence covers are all of utmost importance. Therefore, the area where Du Cheng really needs to invest more study time is intelligence.

Thinking about this, Du Cheng couldn't wait to ask Xin'er, "Xin'er, how can we check if my potential is sufficient?"

"The degree of brain development is related to the sufficiency of your potential. In the year 2355 AD, humans had already developed a test to measure this degree. Normally, a baby's brain development at birth is only 0.3% to 0.5%. As the baby grows, the degree of brain development increases, but it generally does not exceed 6%."

Xin'er paused and continued, "Of course, this only applies to normal humans. Throughout history, there have been quite a few people whose brain development exceeded 6%. These people usually achieve remarkable success in their respective fields. For example, in Chinese history, there were exceptionally talented figures like Zhang Liang and Zhuge Liang, as well as Newton, Einstein, Picasso, Gauss, and others in their time. Their brain development exceeded 6%, with Einstein reaching the highest rate, 9%."

What Xin'er said surpassed Du Cheng's imagination. However, Du Cheng had some questions and asked, "Xin'er, when you talk about potential, are you referring to the ninety-plus percent that is unexploited?"

Xin'er was surprised by Du Cheng's quick reaction. She looked at him with some surprise, nodded, and said, "That's right. Human potential refers to the maximum development of the underdeveloped areas of the brain. In the year 2365 AD, humanity had already developed a method capable of maximizing brain development. However, this method was a strictly protected and prohibited project by the armies of various countries until it was made public after the year 2450 AD."

What Xin'er said was too incredible. If Du Cheng hadn't witnessed the even more incredible existence of Xin'er, he probably wouldn't have been able to process it even if he had believed it.

Seeing Du Cheng sink into a brief moment of reflection, Xin'er said directly, "Alright, Du Cheng, first I am going to test your brain development level, and then your potential. Don't worry, with Xin'er here, even if your potential is average, I am absolutely confident I can make your brain development level exceed 9%."

"Mhm." Du Cheng nodded and then closed his eyes as Xin'er instructed.
