Chapter 14: The Little Fights
But love isn't perfect.
Sometimes Future got jealous of how much time Wisdom spent sketching.
Sometimes he got upset when she forgot their calls because of fashion meetings.
One evening, they argued over something small — dinner plans.
"Maybe you care more about your work than about me!" Future snapped.
"And maybe you don't understand how hard I'm trying!" Wisdom replied.
They both fell silent. The air was heavy.
Finally, Future sighed. "Why do we always fight over silly things?"
He smiled softly. "Because we care too much."
And then she laughed, stepping into his arms. "Let's promise never to go to bed angry again."
"Deal," he said, kissing her forehead.
