Inside the workshop in the abandoned town, the environment was constant and enclosed.

The energy core provided a steady hum, and the air purification system worked continuously, completely isolating the interior from the corrosive environment of the external desert.

The space was filled with a unique scent, a mixture of machine oil, coolant, and faint ozone.

Osiris' dark red mechanical body was the active center of this space.

He was handling multiple tasks, but he didn't pay much attention to the feedback from Maine's crew about certain factions in Night City starting to become curious.

These trivial movements, sparked by speculation and greed, had a low priority compared to the technological blueprint he had planned, and were not worth allocating computational resources to for now.

His work focus was on more fundamental construction and more distant exploration.

Currently, his primary attention was on two parallel projects: in-depth analysis of the data obtained from the first dimensional teleportation experiment, and advancing and completing the treatment of Sasha Yakovleva, ensuring her vital signs were completely stable, and implementing subsequent treatment and customized prosthetic modification plans.

Undoubtedly, the former held absolute priority in his computational resources and logical core.

Beside the specialized medical bed, Sasha was in deep hypothermic hibernation, with her life activities reduced to the minimum level necessary for basic functions.

Most of her body was maintained by a combination of bioactive gel and precise mechanical support structures, and her face was peaceful.

Multiple tubes and implanted interfaces connected to her spine and main nerve clusters, continuously delivering nutrient solutions, stabilizers, and nano-units performing microscopic repair tasks.

"Major organ functions are stable, and central nervous system repair is complete. The current life support plan can continue until the next stage," his synthesized voice reported calmly, his optical lens scanning the constantly refreshing parameters: "Basic physiological treatment has ended; the next step will be the somatic functional reconstruction phase."

At this moment, Osiris was using commercial prosthetic components collected by Maine's crew as basic materials, subjecting them to deep modification and precise tuning for Sasha's body reconstruction.

The original designs of these products from the Night City market, in his eyes, were full of crude compromises: bloated and inefficient interface protocols, poor material biocompatibility, and excessive redundancy in energy transmission paths.

He used mechanical tentacles and specialized tools, like a master restorer dealing with clumsy imitations, to dismantle, purify, and rewrite their internal firmware one by one, optimize their physical structure, and treat key contact surfaces with self-developed dielectric coatings and neuro-waveguide materials.

In this world where the tech tree had branched incorrectly, mature prosthetic technology could indeed replace most of the body's native tissues.

However, this replacement was far from perfect, and its technical flaws—especially those root causes leading to nerve load accumulation and severe rejection reactions—were the objects of Osiris' cold observation.

As he precisely implanted the modified components, he recorded all data from a researcher's perspective.

In the Warhammer Universe he came from, which had more stringent standards and deeper foundations for "man-machine fusion," the phenomenon of "cyberpsychosis" caused by underlying technical flaws, leading to mental breakdown, was itself a valuable research sample.

He hoped to deeply analyze its inducing mechanisms through Sasha's case.

Of course, this research ran parallel to the commitment to treatment.

"Pay attention to this energy decay pattern," Osiris pointed to a set of curves, "When the dimensional channel reached its maximum opening and began to close, the energy dissipation did not show the expected sharp decline, but instead maintained a very short period of steady state.

During this period, energy fluctuations were confined to a very narrow range, exhibiting resonant characteristics."

He called up multiple analysis models for verification.

At the same time, set our signal reception system sensitivity to maximum, continuously monitor the preset frequency band, and try to capture the specific encrypted signal coming from 'Coordinate Beta.'"

He knew that cosmic background interference and the dimensional barrier itself would bring a lot of noise, making it very difficult to identify that faint signal.

The entire workshop was in a state of readiness, all preparations aimed at capturing that faint echo that might come from another universe.

The result of this attempt would directly influence his next direction—whether to continue safe remote detection, or whether he must once again personally venture into that dangerous and dark world.
