Chapter 33 - See You Next Time.

The morning sun streamed through the curtains, painting the room in soft golden light. Sho was still sleeping on the floor, sprawled awkwardly among cushions, his hair slightly messy from the night.

Liyana, awake first, leaned over him, crimson eyes softened with warmth as she watched him sleep.

> He really does look peaceful when he's asleep… she thought, a gentle smile tugging at her lips.

With a playful poke to his cheek, she whispered,

> Hey… wake up now, Sho. It's morning.

Sho stirred slightly but didn't wake. Liyana tilted her head, smirk forming on her lips.

> Guess I need to be louder…

She then shouted,

> "Sho! WAKE UP!"

Sho jerked upright, eyes wide, flustered.

> Wha—?! he exclaimed, completely unprepared for someone shouting at him in the morning. His cheeks flushed a deep red.

Liyana's smirk widened, amused by his reaction.

> You finally awake, sleepyhead, she said teasingly, leaning closer.

Sho rubbed the back of his head, trying to regain composure.

> Uh… good morning. By the way… where do you live? he asked, curiosity creeping into his voice.

Liyana tilted her head slightly, letting a playful smile dance across her lips.

> That's… a secret, she said softly, her crimson eyes glinting with mischief. Some things are better left for later.

Sho raised an eyebrow, a little frustrated but also amused.

> A secret, huh? You really enjoy teasing me, don't you?

> Of course, she replied, brushing a strand of silver-white hair behind her ear. But… I suppose I'll tell you eventually. Maybe when you've earned it.

Sho's cheeks heated again, but he couldn't help but grin.

> "Earned it," huh? Guess I'll have to stick around then, he muttered, his eyes softening as he looked at her.

Liyana laughed gently, the sound warm and musical. She leaned down, almost conspiratorially, and whispered:

> See you next time, Sho…

Sho watched her retreat toward the door, heart fluttering at her words and the way she moved with that effortless grace. He knew one thing for certain: he wouldn't let her go so easily next time either.

The morning air carried a subtle warmth, filled with the promise of playful chases, teasing banter, and moments that neither of them would soon forget.
