As Bai Long finally snapped out of his daze, he decided, that it would be best to start practicing immediately.
After shifting through his memory Bai Long decided on using the 'Celestial Silver Flame Dao' cultivation technique that's ranked as a divine tier technique (techniques are ranked accordingly, Mortal, Yellow, Earth, Heaven, Peerless, Supreme, Divine), since he created it himself to maximise his silver blood and golden body to its fullest effect.
Most dragons are born with red bodies and crimson blood, which gives them and increase in power and durability, but sometimes dragons are born with mutations give them advantages. The rarer the blood (ranked by crimson, purple, blue, green, grey and silver) the higher the output of their damage will be and the rarer their body is (ranked by red, orange, yellow and gold) the higher their damage resistance is. It was entirely due to this mutation of somehow getting silver blood and a gold body that Bai Long managed to get to where he got.
The Celestial Silver Flame Dao technique not only increases his cultivation speed countless times but also increases offense and defence as well as purify and strengthen his flames and that's only at the lower levels.
Considering he couldn't transform into a human yet( needs to reach the spirit severing realm), he decided to continue lying down and start his cultivation.
As a dragon he naturally had an advantage in cultivation and now with all these extra benefits it was no surprise that he managed to go from body tempering into qi refining in only 7 hours. (Each realm is further divided from stage 1 to stage 9).
"Even in my previous life, I needed at least a month to enter qi refining."
Lying back down, he started cultivating again, rapidly rising through the ranks.

Six months later.
'One step away from reaching the nascent soul realm.'
In these six months, it only took him half a week to reach foundation establishment, successfully building a foundation to further his cultivation. After 2 months, he reached Golden core realm, building his core and becoming able to use technique requiring qi. (Until someone reach the Golden core realm, he is only able to use qi to strengthen his attacks but can't project qi outwards.) Another four months later and he finally reached the peak of Golden core.
'In half a month, I'll be able to break through to the Nascent soul ream.'
Standing up, he walked to the cave entrance and upon seeing some spirit beasts at the third stage that resembled a deer's appearance, he let of a fire breath that instantly killed 7 beasts. Going over, he managed to eat three before being full and going back into the cave. ( Each stage is comparable to its corresponding realm such as a stage 3 would mirror a foundation establishment cultivator however even though their realm is technically the same, multiple realm 3 cultivators would be required to win a stage 3 beast).
Lying back down, Bai Long took a quick nap before finally cultivating again.

Half a month later.
A terrifying qi spread out into the surroundings and in the centre of all of it lay a golden dragon, half floating in the air.
Opening his eyes, Bai Long retracted his aura and began to look into his consciousness. There he found a semi-independent spiritual infant within his dantian.
'My progress is really terrifying this time around. In my previous life, I needed at least a year and six months to get where I now reached in only six months.'
'I quickly need to get to the spirit severing realm so that I can unlock my human form and join a sect. If I want to progress quicker, I can't stay in this spiritually depleted cave. A sect would be able to provide me with a more spiritually rich environment as well as spirit stones and funds to later explore this world.'
Having made up his mind, he closed his eyes once more and started cultivating again.
