"To see the edge of the world is to stand at the border of God."
The Limit System is not divine, demonic, or magical — it is structural.
It governs the boundaries that make reality exist.
Everything — space, time, perception, energy — has a limit. Rin's soul, fractured by death and reassembled by infinity, can see, measure, and rewrite those limits.
The System evolves through Layers, each granting him control over a deeper rule of existence.
🌀 Limit LayersLayer 1: Perception Limit
Enhances all five senses to absolute awareness.
Rin perceives energy, distance, emotion, and intent — even before they happen.
Time appears to "slow" because his mind moves faster than the world.
Weakness: Overexposure causes mental fragmentation (seeing too much breaks the brain).
"To perceive infinity is to feel everything — even pain that isn't yours."
Layer 2: Spatial Limit
The power to define distance itself.
Can freeze motion, create invisible barriers, distort space, or fold it for instant travel.
Overuse causes the world's geometry to rebel — structures collapse, reality 'warps.'
Symbol: The Circle of Mirrors.
"Between two points lies infinity. I decide what that infinity means."
Layer 3: Energy Limit
Rin learns to compress and expand energy.
Blue Force (attraction) and Red Force (repulsion) emerge naturally.
Combining both creates Hollow Collapse — a phenomenon that deletes matter without explosion or trace.
Weakness: Too much compression turns his body into a conduit of unstable infinity — risking self-erasure.
"Collapse isn't destruction. It's perfection returning to zero."
Layer 4: Reality Limit
Control over laws themselves — gravity, causality, even perception of truth.
Reality bends where he stands.
But every act of bending draws the world's Correction Forces — entities born to eliminate anomalies.
"The more real I become, the less real everything else is."
Layer 5: Null Limit (God Domain)
True Infinity. No time. No space. Only will.
Rin becomes the center of existence, rewriting the script of the world temporarily.
But the cost: existence rewrites him back. Each use erases part of his humanity — memories, emotions, or identity.
"To be infinite is to vanish. Because infinity has no self."
💠 The Infinite Mirror (System Interface)
The Limit System manifests as a mirror inside Rin's mind, reflecting countless versions of himself — each one from a different possibility.
He can commune with these reflections for insight, knowledge, or even temporary boosts — but each reflection carries madness from its own world.
Every reflection whispers:
"We all broke our worlds differently. How will you break yours?"
🔮 2. The World's Magic System — The Arcanum Order
While Rin's power breaks limits, the people of this world use a structured, divine system called The Arcanum — a hierarchy of magic granted by gods and spirits.
🔹 Mana:
Life energy that flows through everything — air, stone, blood.
Every being possesses a Core, which stores their mana and defines what element or concept they can control.
Mana is categorized by Essence Colors (a reflection of soul resonance):
Red – Flame, fury, motion.
Blue – Water, perception, calm.
Green – Growth, nature, healing.
Silver – Illusion, mind, spirit.
Gold – Light, holiness, order.
Black – Shadow, entropy, death.
Each person awakens their affinity at birth, forming Runic Circles within their mana core.
🔹 The Arcanum Circles:
The world's mages advance through Seven Circles — each carved into their soul through training or divine blessing.
Each Circle deepens their spellcraft and brings them closer to godhood.
Circle Title Power Scope I Initiate Basic element control II Adept Shaping and summoning III Scholar Fusion spells, minor domain access IV Archmage Territory creation V Saint Reality-binding incantations VI Seraph Blessing manipulation VII Divinity Half-godhood — the strongest mortals
The Church of Order regulates Arcanum usage, marking every mage with divine seals — which is why Rin, who wields something outside the divine, is considered an Anomaly.
🌍 World Structure:
Eryndor – Capital of Dawn. City of priests and scholars.
Kaelor – The industrial fortress city in the north, where machines and mana blend.
Solmere – Floating city built above an ocean storm, ruled by the Stormblood family.
Ashveil – Cursed wasteland city beneath a sleeping volcano. Mana burns the ground red.
The Sanctum of Gods – The unreachable heart of the world, where the divinities dwell in silence.
Each city prays to a different god — but all serve under the Order of the Seven Lights, the divine authority.
