Chapter 1 - Infinite Cash System.

He thought the class's commotion sounded oddly distant—hollow, almost. The laughter, the chatter, the squeak of markers against the whiteboard… all of it felt like background noise slowly fading away.

Li Wei sat slumped in his seat, eyes blankly fixed on the courtyard outside the window. The afternoon light spilled through the glass, pale and merciless, washing over the desks and the dust floating midair.

For the first time that day, he wasn't thinking about the lecture, the exam results, or even the girl who had walked out of his life. He was just... tired.

Then, without warning, a faint shimmer of white light crept over his body.

At first, he thought he was just seeing spots from staring too long at the sunlit window. But the glow intensified—soft, pulsing, almost alive.

'Haha...'

A dry, helpless laugh slipped through his lips.

'It's okay to be dumped,' he muttered inwardly, leaning his head back against the chair. 'But now I'm actually going crazy. Is this what heartbreak does? First the girl, now my sanity?'

He rubbed his temples, but the light didn't fade. Instead, a cold blue interface suddenly hovered right in front of his face—like a floating hologram, its surface rippling faintly with lines of unreadable symbols.

'What the... Why is a blue screen floating in front of me?'

He blinked hard, once, twice—but it didn't vanish. His classmates were still talking, oblivious. Nobody seemed to notice the strange display hanging midair.

Li Wei's lips twitched. 'Alright, either I'm hallucinating or…'

His gaze narrowed. '...No, wait. I'm a reincarnator, aren't I? If reincarnation can exist, then a system shouldn't be that far-fetched, right?'

The idea struck him like lightning—absurd, yet strangely believable.

Still, as the faint hum of the blue screen filled his ears, he couldn't stop himself from cursing under his breath.

'Seriously? Now it decides to show up? After all this time?'

He exhaled through his nose, half amused, half bitter. 'Don't tell me it needed me to get dumped first before activating. Great. So heartbreak is my golden cheat code now?'

The glowing screen flickered—as if responding to his sarcasm—and Li Wei could only stare, dumbfounded, as a single line of golden text began to appear.

A strange voice echoed inside his head.

"Ding! The Endless Money System has been activated."

The voice was soft and melodic—a woman's tone, clear and faintly teasing, carrying a digital reverb that felt half-real and half-fantasy.

Li Wei froze. His fingers stiffened against the desk as a blue panel bloomed in front of his eyes, illuminating his stunned reflection on the glass.

'What… was that?'

A hum filled his mind—a rush of data, memories, and strange knowledge pouring into his brain. It didn't hurt, but it felt like his thoughts were being rewritten and reorganized.

For a brief moment, flashes of text and rules swirled before his eyes. Words he'd never read before, yet somehow… he understood them completely. It was as if he had always known this system.

'So this… is my cheat?' he muttered inwardly, his lips twitching with disbelief. 'About damn time.'

Lines of golden text floated gently across the blue screen, one after another.

[System Rule One: The host may only spend money on women.]

Li Wei blinked. "Wait, what?"

He read it again, slower this time.

[Upon reaching 50 favorability points with a girl, the host will begin to receive 10% cashback on all future spending related to her.][For every additional 10 points of favorability, cashback rate increases by 10%.]

The words shimmered faintly before fading.

'So I can't use it on myself… only on girls?' he thought, a complicated expression crossing his face. 'And the more they like me, the more money I get back. That's... absurd. And kind of brilliant.'

Another notification appeared, accompanied by a pleasant chime.

[Additional Rule: If the host raises a girl's favorability by 10 points within a single day, he will receive a Gift Pack containing a random reward.]

The faintly mischievous tone of the system voice made him feel as if someone was watching him—smiling.

Li Wei rubbed the back of his neck, a dry laugh slipping out. "I swear, whoever made this thing has a very specific sense of humor."

Then the light flickered once more.

[An exclusive bank account has been created for the host.][All transactions and payment applications have been linked.][Balance: 10,000,000,000,000 Global Dollars.]

Li Wei's eyes widened slightly. "Ten… trillion?"

His chair creaked softly as he leaned back, staring at the glowing number that pulsed faintly on the screen. He didn't even notice the small black card that had appeared in his pocket until the system's voice whispered again—playful and almost smug.

"Funds refresh automatically every month. Please spend wisely, Host."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the card. The surface gleamed like polished obsidian, lined with faint golden veins. When he turned it under the light, a single word shimmered across its face — Infinity.

For a long moment, Li Wei said nothing. His heart thumped steadily, the edges of his lips curving upward.

'So… I can't buy things for myself, huh?'

He chuckled, half in disbelief, half in anticipation.

'Fine. Let's see how far this ridiculous system can take me.'

The sunlight through the window caught the golden lines of the card, casting a faint reflection across his face. His once-empty eyes now held a spark—the glint of curiosity, mischief, and something dangerously close to excitement.

A moment later, reason returned to him.

Even though the system felt absurd—like something straight out of a fever dream—Li Wei couldn't deny that it made a strange kind of sense. Back in his old world, he had read plenty of novels with this exact kind of setup: systems, missions, and ridiculous rules that governed otherworldly cheats.

The parallels were too close to ignore.

Taking a slow breath, he forced himself to calm down. The chaos in his chest steadied—replaced by a faint, restless excitement. His hand brushed against the sleek, metallic edge of the black card resting in his pocket. It felt solid, cold, and real.

He didn't even need to check his phone to know the truth. His e-wallet had already pinged earlier—a new account had appeared, linked directly to his name, complete with the insane balance that made his pulse quicken.

It was real. All of it.

Li Wei leaned back, his eyes half-lidded as a small grin tugged at his lips. 'So, this is really happening. No limits... just spend. Hah, this could get interesting.'

Still, the thought of testing it out made him restless. He wanted to feel it—that thrill of having no leash, no restraint. Spending money like air while chasing a beauty… now that sounded like fun.

But for now, there was still class to finish. He exhaled softly, deciding to set the idea aside for later. He already had someone in mind—though he wasn't about to admit it out loud.

The sharp chime of the bell suddenly split through the air.

Ding, long, ling...

The room immediately came alive—chairs scraping, students chatting, laughter spilling from every corner.

Li Wei didn't wait for the noise to settle. He zipped his bag in one quick motion, stuffing his notes inside, and slung it over his shoulder. He was halfway to the door when a figure suddenly stepped into his path.

A tall guy with styled hair and a smug expression stood blocking his way.

"Yo, our class topper," the boy drawled, smirking as if the world belonged to him. "What's the rush? Aren't you going to say goodbye to your girlfriend on the way out? Oh wait—" his grin widened, "you mean ex-girlfriend, right?"

The words hung in the air, sharp and mocking. A few nearby students looked over, sensing the tension.

But Li Wei only looked at him—really looked—and then laughed. A quiet, unbothered chuckle that carried more mockery than anger.

"Well, yeah," he said casually, lips curving upward. "Take care of her, will you? Oh, and if you ever need to know what pose she likes in bed, just PM me later. I'd hate for you to disappoint her."

A few snickers erupted from the back rows. The smug expression on the guy's face froze instantly, his eyes twitching with anger.

Li Wei's grin only deepened as he brushed past him, calm and deliberate, as though the whole thing was beneath him.

The other boy's voice snapped out sharply. "Oi! Acting like a grown-up now, huh? Guess she didn't mean that much to you after all!"

But at the edge of the doorway stood a girl—silent, her expression unreadable.

Her fingers tightened around her bag straps as she lowered her gaze, guilt flickering across her face. She didn't speak, couldn't. After all, she was the one who betrayed him—a month of lies, traded for the money that kept her father's medical treatment going.

She still liked Li Wei. His gentle smile, his patience, his quiet humor—everything about him lingered painfully in her heart.

But her mother's words echoed louder. "You can't save your father with love."

"I say, Chen Hao. You had a problem with my position on the class list, right? But let's be honest—" Li Wei's tone was calm, even amused, "—you're just being an ass for the sake of it."

The laughter and whispers in the classroom dimmed. Chen Hao's expression twisted, but before he could reply, Li Wei added casually,

"If not for your father's effort and connections, your actual worth would be nothing in girls' eyes."

A few gasps echoed from the nearby seats.

Chen Hao's jaw tightened, his lips curling into a forced grin that barely hid his anger. The girls in class exchanged glances—some whispering under their breath, others glaring openly. His earlier arrogance had already rubbed them the wrong way, but now, Li Wei's words sliced straight through whatever charm he had left.

At the edge of the crowd, Lin Xue bit her lip softly. A faint smile tugged at her lips—small, barely there, but real.

Even after everything… Li Wei still stood up for her.

She hadn't expected it. Especially not after what she'd done. But hearing him talk like that, calm yet sharp, made her heart ache with guilt and relief all at once.

Chen Hao's expression faltered when he caught the look in the girls' eyes—that faint disgust, that disappointment. His smirk collapsed, leaving only a red flush of anger on his face.

Li Wei, however, didn't linger. He simply adjusted his bag, walked past Chen Hao without sparing him another glance, and headed toward the door.

As he passed Lin Xue, their eyes met briefly. Her faint smile froze, and Li Wei sighed softly under his breath.

'If only that damn system had come earlier...'

The thought pricked at him, half annoyance, half irony. But deep down, another thought sprouted—sharper, more confident.

'Well, maybe it's not too late. Knowing her, she won't let that idiot even touch her hand that easily. After all, she was the high school belle once. She's always been hard to get.'

Having said all of that. Even though Li Wei and Lin Xue had only been dating for a few months, they had never even had sex. He was aware that she had a lot of demands from her boyfriend.

Outside the classroom, the hallway buzzed with noise. Li Wei walked slowly, pulling his phone from his pocket. His thumb hovered over the screen for a second before he typed a short message.

Li Wei: "Just tell me if he ever tries to force himself on you. I'll pay back everything you owe him later."

A silent reminder. A quiet promise.

Inside the classroom, Chen Hao stormed out in humiliation, his face burning red. He didn't even glance back at Lin Xue, which, for once, felt like a small mercy.

Her phone buzzed softly in her hand. She looked down, saw the message, and couldn't stop the small, bittersweet smile that spread across her lips.

'He still cares… even after all that.'

But she also knew—the boy she once dated was gone.

Now, Li Wei was stepping onto a different path entirely.

If he was going to become a scumbag, he'd do it thoroughly—with confidence, with style, and with that dangerous thrill that came from chasing what the world told him not to.
