Chapter 71 - Chapter 71

"Sakuya! Sakuya! Wake up! Don't scare me!" Kars anxiously shook the unconscious Sakuya, who was lying on the ground with a satisfied expression and blood beneath her nose. He didn't understand why she had suddenly ended up like this.

Remilia, who had rushed over, looked at the scene, wondering what Sakuya had seen to cause such an extreme reaction. "Kars, calm down. Sakuya is fine. She'll be alright in a moment." Remilia reassured him, telling him not to worry too much.

"She's fine? That's good." Kars finally relaxed upon hearing that Sakuya was okay, as this situation was much more severe than usual. After a short while, just as Remilia had predicted, Sakuya, whose head was resting in Kars's lap, woke up. The first thing she saw was Kars's face looking at her with concern.

"Sakuya! You're finally awake!" Sakuya looked at the face in front of her and felt the sensation beneath the back of her head. Realizing she was resting in Kars's lap, she felt a surge of excitement, but she quickly managed to control herself. She didn't want to worry him again.

"I apologize for causing you concern, Young Master Kars." Although she was awake, Sakuya was reluctant to leave. Opportunities like this were rare, so she wanted to enjoy it a little longer. She then remembered the image of Kars and Flandre kissing. That sight had been too stimulating for her. She didn't dare recall it in her mind for fear of losing control again. I will keep this precious memory in my mind forever!

Kars was in no rush, only relaxing once he was certain Sakuya was truly alright.

"Sakuya, what did you see that caused this?" Remilia asked, highly curious about what could have such a profound effect on Sakuya, and that it must be related to Kars and Flandre.

"Flandre just kissed Kars, that's all." Flandre explained what she and Kars had done, but omitted the details of the kiss, since it was a secret, and she couldn't even tell her sister a secret.

"What? Is that all?" Remilia didn't find that particularly noteworthy. "Well, now Flandre has been caught, so Kars wins this round." Hearing this, Flandre felt a little defiant.

"Kars cheated to catch Flandre! Otherwise, Flandre wouldn't have lost! Flandre wants a rematch! I definitely won't lose this time!"

"Alright, but this time, Little Auntie Flandre, you have to find us." Kars accepted the challenge but requested that Flandre be the seeker this time. Flandre didn't refuse and nodded her agreement. She then left the Great Library, and Sakuya reluctantly got up from Kars's lap.

"I'll come look for you after counting to three hundred." Flandre said and began counting. Kars immediately ran out, but he avoided the Great Library. Although it was a great hiding place, he felt it was unsuitable. Too much had happened there today, and he was sure to run into something else if he hid there. Besides, Flandre would definitely check there, so hiding there would be foolish.

Kars felt he needed to find a place Flandre wouldn't likely check, but a moment's thought suggested there was nowhere she wouldn't go. This frustrated Kars.

Just as Kars was hesitating about where to go, Remilia grabbed him.

"Little Auntie, why are you grabbing me?" Kars asked, confused by Remilia's action.

"To take you to a hidden spot to hide, of course." Remilia replied as a matter of fact. She was convinced that her choice this time would be flawless.

"Are you sure the spot you picked is well-hidden?" Kars was skeptical. He didn't have much faith in Remilia's judgment after she chose to hide herself and Sakuya in a closet.

"Of course! I'm your Little Auntie! You have to trust me! Besides, how do you know the spot I pick won't be good?" Remilia puffed out her chest, trying to use her innate majesty to convince Kars.

"Then tell me where you plan to hide first."

"Under the table in my bedroom! It's the perfect size for both of us, and Flandre will never find us there!"

"That place isn't hidden at all…" That was the kind of spot anyone would think of.

"Well, where are you planning to hide?"

"I don't know. I'm still deciding, but I'm definitely not going to the Great Library, because Little Auntie Flandre will definitely search there." Remilia then said proudly, "See? You haven't decided where to hide, so why don't you listen to me and hide with me? You don't know where to go anyway."

"It's only because the spot you picked isn't good." Hiding under a table sounded completely uninspired.

"You idiot, you don't understand! Think about my and Sakuya's plan before. We hide in a spot with enough cover for two people. If we get caught, one person comes out to cover for the other. Then the other person is safe, right? Flandre won't keep searching the room, and then we win!"

"But Sakuya came out, and I still found you."

Remilia: Ծ‸ Ծ

Is this child trying to contradict me? Why won't he just trust me for once? My plan is definitely sound!

"Mistress, Young Master Kars, time is running out." Sakuya reminded the arguing pair that they were running out of time and needed to hide quickly. As for herself, she needed to rest, so she wouldn't be joining this round.

"Just follow me, it's better than you having no idea where to go." Remilia immediately pulled Kars toward her bedroom, and the two hid together under the table. After counting to three hundred, Flandre looked toward the bedroom and smiled.
