After a while, Daiyousei finally recovered, but she kept her head down the entire time, afraid to look at Kars.
"I hope you weren't seriously planning on doing that?" Wriggle asked Kars. Even she found the things he had mentioned earlier too stimulating. If that were truly the case, she couldn't possibly agree to help.
"No, I hadn't finished talking. What I meant to say was that my Little Auntie and Patchouli both told me Koakuma lied to me. But honestly, I don't think everything Koakuma said was completely wrong, right? Liking someone should mean liking everything about them. I still think that's right."
"And isn't it normal to kiss someone you like?" Kars felt that while Koakuma's actions were self-serving, the underlying logic was sound.
"But that's over now, so I'm not really sure what to do next. That's why I wanted to ask if you all knew anything." This was what Kars had originally intended to say, as no one had told him what to do next.
"Oh, so that's what it was." Daiyousei breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed she had just been overly nervous; Kars hadn't meant to do anything to her at all. "But… even though we're girls, we don't understand this kind of thing."
Mystia replied. Who among them hadn't been single since birth? They were even worse off than Kars; at least he had experienced kissing, while they didn't even have a romantic object of fantasy. They would only hinder his progress if they gave him advice without even the most basic understanding of dating.
"It sounds like you guys are even more clueless than me." Kars realized that the people in front of him were even more inexperienced than he was. It was unclear who would end up helping whom.
"The original idea was just to invite you to play! You're the one who steered the conversation off course, and now you're calling us clueless! That's really annoying!" Wriggle complained. It wasn't their fault, yet he was calling them clueless. It was infuriating.
"Is that so? Ahahaha! I'm so sorry." Kars scratched his head awkwardly and laughed. "How about I invite you all to play at my house instead?"
"That sounds great! There'll be food and places to play!" Cirno's eyes immediately lit up. She approved of Kars's suggestion, still thinking about the cake and juice she had earlier.
"As long as it's not freezing frogs, I'm fine with it." Wriggle thought going to Kars's house was a much better choice than playing 'freezing frogs' with Cirno, especially since it was her first time being invited.
"Then, thank you for the invitation." Mystia also agreed. Rumia didn't voice any opinion throughout the discussion.
The group then headed towards the Scarlet Devil Mansion in force. Kars led them past Meiling Hong, who was as usual sleeping by the front door, and into the mansion's main hall.
"Welcome back, Young Master Kars." Sakuya greeted Kars, her gaze falling on the group of girls next to him. "Did you bring friends home to play? I'll go prepare some dessert and juice right away."
"Yes, thank you, Sakuya." Sakuya smiled slightly and left. Soon, she had prepared cookies, cake, and juice for everyone in the garden. Seeing the treats, Cirno and Rumia immediately dug in. Kars watched Rumia eating a piece of cake in one bite, wondering if she had been starving for a long time.
"Is Kars's house really this big?" Mystia ate a cookie and marveled at the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Truly the home of a wealthy child.
"The environment is very nice, indeed." Wriggle was quite pleased with the mansion's garden, finding the atmosphere very pleasant. It would be quite nice to live here.
The peaceful leisure time would have been perfect if not for the two people wolfing down food beside her. Wriggle's face twitched as she watched Cirno and Rumia compete to see who could eat the most and the fastest. It was quite embarrassing to visit someone's house with people like them. Especially now, Cirno was no match for Rumia's speed and was stuffing cake into her mouth, not waiting to swallow before rushing for the next piece. Her cheeks were completely puffed up, and she couldn't swallow.
"H-help… me…" Choking, Cirno looked painfully at Daiyousei for help. Seeing her distress, Daiyousei quickly handed her the juice, which allowed Cirno to swallow the cake in her mouth.
After finishing, Rumia looked at the empty plate in front of her and sank into thought. Then she looked at Kars, seemingly hoping for more cake and cookies.
"You really have a big appetite. Are you still hungry?" Kars was curious about Rumia's appetite. She had eaten so much that her stomach should have been completely full, but it showed no signs of it.
"Yes, I can still eat." Rumia nodded, confirming she was fine. Kars then asked Sakuya to prepare more cake and cookies. After they were placed in front of Rumia, she gradually devoured all the desserts, and her stomach still hadn't changed at all. Seeing her face covered with food, Kars helped wipe it clean.
"Kars." Flandre's voice came from behind. Everyone looked up and saw Flandre peeking out from behind the door. Due to the angle, a shadow fell across Flandre's face, making her eyes glow faintly. Seeing Kars with a group of other girls made her feel like her beloved toy had been taken by others, and she was clearly unhappy.
"Little Auntie! You're up this early?" It wasn't Flandre's usual waking time, so Kars was curious why she was up and out here. Because of the strong sunlight outside, Flandre could only watch from afar, but Kars walked over to her.
"I went to sleep with Kars early yesterday, so I woke up very early." Once Kars was close, Flandre hugged him. This action seemed to soothe her a little.
"I suddenly felt a sense of danger just now." Wriggle's instincts picked up a feeling of danger a moment ago, but she wasn't sure where it came from, as the feeling was gone now.
