He tried hard to climb out of bed, carefully removing the limbs of both girls from his body. His departure caused a slight chill for both Remilia and Flandre, who instinctively searched for warmth. They ended up hugging each other, and Kars gently pulled the blanket over them before leaving to start his daily sunbathing.
"It's weaker than before." Feeling the significant drop in the sun's intensity, Kars couldn't help but sigh. After his allotted time, he returned to the Scarlet Devil Mansion.
Sakuya noticed Kars wasn't in a good mood and knew it was due to the changing season. There was nothing she could do to help, as the issue was beyond her capabilities.

"Kars, what's wrong? Did something unpleasant happen?"
"Yeah, it's because autumn is here, and soon it will be winter. I really hate this season because I can barely sunbathe anymore." Kars explained the reason, and Wriggle nodded in agreement.
"Exactly! Winter is the worst." As an insect Youkai, she also intensely disliked winter, as she couldn't tolerate the cold very well.
