Chapter 112 - Chapter 112

Back at her seat in the main hall, Remilia lightly tapped her fingers on the armrest. From her conversation with Patchouli, she was certain of one thing: the truth was clearly not what Patchouli had claimed, though she had no intention of confronting her.

It wasn't necessary, as it posed no problem for her. Especially regarding Kars's current behavior, she was ultimately fine with it. If she weren't, she wouldn't have allowed him to do such things to her. Kars's actions had, to some extent, made her feel captivated. The unprecedented feelings she experienced were hard to abandon, and the taboo nature due to their relationship further amplified the sensation. She even felt a desire to see what would happen next, thus choosing to ignore the issue.

Although this behavior was highly inappropriate—especially since she was Kars's Little Auntie and not only failed to stop him but was slightly encouraging his actions—she rationalized that it wasn't a severe problem. Remilia comforted herself with the thought that Kars was still young and ignorant of some things, and it was acceptable for her, as his Little Auntie, to offer some guidance. There was nothing strange about it.

It's not like my behavior is going to prevent Kars from finding a wife, is it? That's impossible.

However, the situation between Kars and Yuuka Kazami did present a possibility that they wouldn't end up together smoothly. In that case, she, as his Little Auntie, would need to step up and take responsibility, and her actions now… No, no! Remilia's face flushed as she thought this. She shook her head violently, throwing those strange notions out of her mind to stop herself from becoming strange.

The worst-case scenario is I'll just let Sakuya bear the burden of having a few children for the Scarlet family. Sakuya surely wouldn't refuse, would she? Remilia thought that Sakuya becoming Kars's wife was an acceptable idea, and Sakuya would probably be very willing to accept.

"But things might not turn out the way I think." Remilia reasoned that her wild thoughts were pointless. What if everything went smoothly for Kars? When she thought about this, Remilia felt strangely uneasy.

Am I hoping Kars won't find a wife? Remilia covered her face. I wouldn't have thought this way before… She had been genuinely looking forward to Kars bringing home a capable wife. Why had her thoughts turned out like this? Was she truly becoming strange?

"Sister, your expression is changing all over the place, and you're talking to yourself. What are you doing?" Flandre's voice suddenly appeared beside her, startling Remilia out of her distracted thoughts. Her reaction only made Flandre even more confused.

"Flandre? When did you get here?" Remilia quickly composed herself and asked Flandre, annoyed at herself for being so careless that she hadn't noticed someone approaching.

"I've been here for a while, since you said you'd let Sakuya have a few children for the Scarlet family. Sister, are you saying Sakuya is going to have babies now?" Flandre's eyes lit up with curiosity, clearly intrigued by the idea of Sakuya having babies. "But how would Sakuya get pregnant? Do you know, Sister?"

"No, Sakuya is not going to have babies. Don't talk nonsense, understood?" Since this was just a temporary contingency plan and not a final decision, Remilia didn't want Flandre spreading rumors and causing trouble.

"Oh, I see." Flandre's excitement immediately faded when she heard there were no babies. But if she's not having babies, why would she talk about Sakuya having children for the Scarlet family? Sister is so strange. Although Flandre was thoroughly confused, she quickly dismissed the matter.

This allowed Remilia to breathe a small sigh of relief. She vowed to be more aware of her surroundings and stop talking to herself when thinking about these things, to avoid having the person in question overhear her.

"Um, Sister, I think you should let Kars sleep while hugging me now, okay?" Flandre brought up the subject again. She was frustrated that Remilia still hadn't agreed after all this time. Why couldn't she agree to it now?

This immediately put Remilia in a difficult position. Allowing Kars to sleep while cuddling Flandre would inevitably lead to the same situation that was happening between her and Kars.

"Well, Kars has been restless in his sleep recently. He keeps biting things, and I'm worried you might get bitten if you sleep with him. So, you'll have to wait a little longer." Remilia used Kars's problem as an excuse, hoping Flandre would give up.

"Kars bites in his sleep?" Flandre was confused, wondering why Kars would suddenly bite.

"Yes, it's a recent development. My chest got bitten by Kars."

"Biting a chest…" Flandre looked at her sister's rather flat chest. Is there really anything there to bite? Oh, wait! That's where babies get milk! Is Kars biting because he's hungry in his sleep?

"So, Flandre, let's wait until Kars breaks that bad habit, and then I'll let you cuddle him to sleep." Remilia thought this reason would be enough to make Flandre temporarily give up.

"Then what about you, Sister?" Flandre couldn't help but ask. If she knew about this problem, why did her sister continue to insist on cuddling Kars to sleep?

"Me? I'm fine. I've taken precautions, so it's not a problem right now." Although Remilia said she was fine, Flandre wanted to say that she would be fine, too. Being bitten by Kars was no big deal. Why was her sister making it sound so serious? Moreover, Flandre suspected her sister was hiding something from her.

Sister definitely has a secret, just like the secret Kars and I share. Flandre reached this conclusion, determined to find out what her sister was hiding from her.
