Chapter 117 - Chapter 117

"Hold on, are you absolutely sure you're not joking?" Lyrica asked, wondering if Kars had gone mad after such an astonishing statement. Yuuka Kazami! The Flower Field Tyrant! How could this guy have such an abnormal idea?

However, upon recalling how Kars had called Yuuka Kazami "gentle" when he first met her, his current bizarre declaration seemed somewhat normal.

"I've already made progress, after all." Kars couldn't help but show a trace of pride when mentioning this. "Through my efforts, my relationship with Big Sister Yuuka has advanced to a level you couldn't imagine. Normally, we sunbathe together, and even spar together to warm up." Kars was too embarrassed to mention the more intimate details, feeling it would cause too much trouble to reveal them in public.

"Th-That's incredible! Kars, how did you do that? Can you teach me too?" Cirno's attention was immediately drawn to the sparring. Her eyes widened, sparkling with interest. To be able to so easily fight against such a terrifying opponent—what kind of training could lead to this level? Cirno was intensely curious. She wanted to do the same and be able to talk casually with her opponent.

Cirno's question was met only with Kars's silence. What could he possibly teach her? This training was for finding a wife! It wasn't for fighting!

"My lessons probably won't be able to help you, Cirno." Kars's answer made Cirno's expression crumble. What did he mean, he couldn't help her? It sounded like she wasn't capable of learning it.

"Why not? Are you afraid I'll surpass you immediately?"

Kars silently shook his head. "It's because what I'm learning is useless for you. I told you, what I'm learning is to make it easier for me to find a wife. You don't need that."

"Of course I don't! I want to get stronger! So I won't feel afraid of her anymore!" Cirno's focus was always on how to become stronger so she wouldn't show any fear when facing Yuuka Kazami.

"So, like I said, there's no way. My lessons don't include that kind of thing. I already told you it's knowledge for finding a wife. Do you think it contains what you're looking for?" Cirno pouted unhappily at this, feeling somewhat disappointed by Kars's words.

"Cirno-chan, don't be too sad. Even if it doesn't help, don't be too down." Daiyousei tried to comfort her, not wanting Cirno to be too upset over the matter.

"That's her fault for being slow. She didn't listen clearly. He said he was learning to find a wife. If you learn that stuff to flirt with Yuuka Kazami, are you planning to bring her home?" Lyrica couldn't help but interject.

"Bring her home…" That thought immediately made Cirno's expression strange. After imagining bringing Yuuka Kazami home, Cirno shivered. She instantly decided against it; that would be far too terrifying.

Seeing Cirno immediately lose interest, Kars breathed a sigh of relief. Being persistently questioned was quite annoying.

"Still, it's unbelievable, Kars. What kind of things have you been doing with that Yuuka Kazami?" Lyrica was very curious about the key details. From Kars's tone, there had to be something interesting going on. "Can you tell us about it?"

"Yes, yes!" Mystia chimed in, nodding. She was very curious about Kars and Yuuka Kazami's relationship. This was practically unheard of, so not being curious was impossible.

"I can't possibly tell you that kind of thing!"

"Then can you just briefly tell us? Since you say your relationship is very close now, have you done anything intimate with Yuuka Kazami? Like kissing?" Lyrica asked, tense and expectant for Kars's answer. Daiyousei and Mystia were also watching Kars, their faces flushed, waiting for the answer.

"Y-Yes." After a moment of hesitation under their gazes, Kars nodded. This answer immediately drew gasps from them.

"Really? That's kind of hard to believe."

"So, is kissing really comfortable, and does it feel like happiness?" For those who had never experienced such things, it was almost legendary behavior, sparking immense curiosity.

"It does feel a little like that," Kars admitted.

Hearing this, Lyrica, Mystia, and Daiyousei flushed and fell silent, seemingly unable to process that Kars had actually done such a thing. Daiyousei was so embarrassed that her head was almost resting on her chest. Cirno, however, looked confusedly at the three, as she and Rumia were the only ones who hadn't quite grasped the situation.

"What are you all still doing here?" Keine Kamishirasawa asked curiously from the doorway, seeing that none of the students had left the Terakoya even though class was over. What were they doing, staying here?

"Oh! Let's not talk about this anymore. Let's go to the Scarlet Devil Mansion to play." Continuing this conversation here was inappropriate. Kars decided to end the topic and led the group away from the Terakoya toward the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Arriving at the mansion again, Lyrica first scanned the surroundings. After confirming Flandre wasn't there, she relaxed slightly. The danger she had sensed from Flandre last time was significant, so avoiding her was best if possible.

"Huh? Kars, you brought friends over to play." Koakuma, who had been waiting for Kars to return, saw the people who had come with him and looked slightly disappointed. She had been eagerly waiting by the door to be close to Kars, but now it seemed impossible.
