Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: Bike

They stepped inside the company and Fidelia's eyes brightened by the sight she saw.

The whole event was decorated flashy with golden lights everywhere screaming luxury designs.

Reporters and journalists were all around the place taking pictures, interviewing certain wealthy, rich, popular and famous celebrities who came to bid or watch the unveiling.

Excitement and joy filled in the air. Andrian's hand tightened around Fidelia's own as he made way through the crowd avoiding reporters and evading any questions.

He didn't come here for them, he came for something more important.

Andrian pulled Fidelia through the rows of tables, completely ignoring the glares and whispers that followed them. He sat down like he owned the place, crossing one leg over the other, his hand still lightly gripping hers.

Fidelia glanced around at the suits, the champagne glasses, the giant screens showing close-ups of roaring engines and prototypes..

Andrian dragged her to the event center inside the huge company and sat amongst a group of rich men all seeking to acquire it through auction.

"Ohk what's going" Fidelia finally couldn't hold it anymore.

Andrian smirked. "You'll love this one. That right there" he gestured toward the stage "is the new Aetherion X1. The world's first self-adaptive, AI-powered hyperbike. Built to sync with the rider's neural response system. I've been waiting six months for this reveal."

Her mouth dropped slightly. "Wait, so… it basically reads your mind?"

"Exactly. Adjusts acceleration, terrain grip, even balance based on emotional state. It's not a machine. It's practically alive."

Fidelia blinked. "So, we're… at a motorcycle's birthday party?"

He gave her a sideways look. "They are auctioning the bike…and you're my lucky charm tonight."

"Now take a guess why I brought you here" Andrian smiled mischievously.

Fidelia was smart enough to figure out that Andrian had brought her here to buy the bike for him

"Oh no, no way that's looking way expensive just sitting behind the curtain"

"You owe me an apology if I'm not mistaken, you kept a secret I should have at least known considering we would be my lovely wife..." He grinned and Fidelia rolled her eyes with a smile

"Hold on I'm not done yet..Yes I remember you let Nyra use my special black motorcycle without informing me and leaving it on the street.."

Upon hearing the name 'Nyra' from his mouth her eyes widened 'He knows' she thought.

"I even saved you when Iris tried committing sucide and also you dented my red lambo...."

"Ah God okay...fine fine I'll buy it for you." Fidelia immediately spoke up, unable to hear how much trouble she had really caused.

"Sweet..." Andrian said in satisfaction watching as the host of the event kept on hyping the motorbike which was still covered on the stage.

"Lastly u stole April from me"

"Uhm..technically I still take her but she allowed herself to be taken by me"

"You mean stole"

"Borrowed!" she fired back, folding her arms.

"Confiscated."

"Rescued. You were literally caging April"

"Kidnapped."

She huffed, rolling her eyes. "You're impossible."

"I know..you have seen what I can on bed right..impossible things" Andrian's eyes flash with lust.

"Shut it"

Her cheeks warmed instantly. "Wow…for that I think I'll raise the bid just to spite you."

"Good. Because that's exactly what I want you to do."

Before he could reply, the host's voice sounded loudly through the entire hallway.

"Ladies and gentlemen! The moment you've all been waiting for the unveiling of the Aetherion X1!"

The light that brightened the whole room suddenly went dim when only the host was in the stoplight. Frozen air rose from below the stage covering everywhere while a slow dramatic music was being played in the background.

Then the black curtain finally lifted up revealing a black glowing motorbike with dark blue scales around the whole body that when the bike was ignited the scales started moving all together.

The crowd gasped in astonishment. Reporters cameras flashed rapidly capturing every moment.

Andrian's eyes gleamed. "Beautiful, isn't she?"

Fidelia let out a low whistle. "That's not a bike. That's an alien spaceship with wheels."

He chuckled softly. "And soon, she's mine."

"Or mine," Fidelia said defiantly, raising an eyebrow. "You said I owe you, right? Then let me buy it for you and put it in my name."

Andrian turned slowly toward her, disbelief flickering into amusement. "You wouldn't dare."

Her smirk matched his. "Watch me."

The host started calling the opening bid.

And just like that they were both reaching for their paddles.
