The crowd were surprised as extremely bright light suddenly filled the hotel hall as the windows shattered, it was an Illumination Grenade!
More grenades detonated.

99% of the crowd instantly became disoriented by the grenade explosions.
Seated in a corner of the hall, David was also affected by the sudden unexpected situation as the bright light made him close his eyes tightly.
His ears rang loudly, leaving him disoriented.
This sensation lingered for a few seconds and that was when he started hearing voices…
