Chapter 99 - Chapter 92: Map Secret Room, Reunion

Harry stayed in the school infirmary for three days before Madam Pomfrey released him.

During this period, many people came to visit him, only to be sternly turned away by Madam Pomfrey.

Seamus and Ron woke up that afternoon and stayed in the hospital for three days, leaving together with Harry.

If it weren't for these two companions, those days would have been truly terrible.

When he returned to the common room, Harry received a hero's welcome.

"Potter is our Lion King!"

This was the Weasley twins stirring things up, with Fred shouting the loudest.

In the heart of every boy and girl, there's a longing for a hero's story.

Especially in Gryffindor, a house that values courage above all, Harry single-handedly stopping Professor Quirrell's plot was something to be revered.

Perhaps it was deliberately done by Dumbledore, but the person spreading the news didn't reveal Voldemort's existence and only mentioned Professor Quirrell.

But even that was enough to drive people wild, after all, he was a professor!

A first-year student, with the help of friends, overcoming the trials set by the professors, and in the end facing Professor Quirrell alone and successfully thwarting his plot…

He truly is the Savior!

It wasn't only Gryffindor students; there were some from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw in the common room too.

Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff brought his housemates to give Harry a warm round of applause.

"Harry! Well done!"

Harry wasn't overwhelmed or conceited by the praise coming from all directions.

He raised his hands, signaling everyone to pause.

When the surrounding students, confused and unsure what he was about to do, looked at him expectantly, Harry began to speak.

"Classmates, thank you for your support, but I couldn't have made it to the end by myself. I had some friends who supported and helped me; they helped me reach the end."

The students quietly looked at Harry, filled with anticipation.

"First, there's Hermione Granger!" Harry waved at Hermione, who walked up to him.

"If Hermione hadn't found a way past the three-headed dog and used a magic spell to play the harp that put the terrifying dog to sleep, we wouldn't even have gotten past the first door—"

The students cheered Hermione's name loudly upon hearing Harry's introduction.

"Granger! Granger!"

"Hermione! I knew you could do it!" yelled Lavender.

Hermione's face turned rosy, her large front teeth barely hidden, as she smiled like a jubilant beaver.

After everyone cheered for a while, Harry quickly grabbed Neville, who was trying to sneak away, and pulled him forward, wrapping his arm around his neck, telling everyone, "And let's not forget Neville Longbottom. It was he who discovered the Devil's Snare's weakness, allowing us to pass the first test smoothly!"

"Longbottom! Longbottom!" Everyone cheered loudly, and applause echoed through the entire room like a tide.

Neville pressed his lips together, his eyes red-rimmed as he looked around at the classmates truly cheering for him.

Only heaven knows the pressure he'd lived under from his family, even thinking he was a magicless Dud.

And now, could someone like him also earn applause from everyone?

"Neville, do you see it?" Harry said loudly, "You are the best!"

"Neville is the best!" Ron clapped from behind, shouting loudly.

"Neville is the best!" The students followed, cheering, the atmosphere growing more and more enthusiastic.

"Thank you, thank you, Harry!" Neville could no longer hold it back; he turned around and hugged Harry tightly, tears streaming down.

Harry coughed a couple of times, deliberately struggling, shouting, "Alright, heaven's sake, Neville, if you squeeze any tighter, you'll have yesterday night's dinner coming out of me!"

Neville quickly let go, and when he saw Harry winking at him, he finally burst into laughter through his tears.

"And now our Seamus Finnigan!" Harry pulled an excited Seamus over, saying to everyone, "Seamus used a magic spell to destroy the Devil's Snare and bravely stepped up at a critical moment, securing us a vital victory!"

"Finnigan! Finnigan!" The crowd clapped and cheered.

Seamus, full of energy, waved his hands high and excitedly pulled out his magic wand, shouting, "Does anyone want to see the spell I used to break the Devil's Snare?"

"Oh heavens, I beg you, Seamus, don't—"

The surrounding students said in unison.

Everyone laughed good-naturedly together, and Seamus put his wand away, having just been joking.

As the applause slowly dimmed, Harry finally pulled Ron forward.

"I need to say, Ron Weasley! You are the greatest chess player I've ever seen—you sacrificed yourself on the board, fighting valiantly, and at crucial moments, stood up with Seamus, winning us a chance in that dreadful game of Wizard Chess—I have to say, Ron, you are the bravest person I have ever met, a true Gryffindor!"

"Weasley! Weasley! Weasley!"

The crowd cheered wildly, Ron sacrificing himself on the chessboard, even deciding to do so voluntarily at a critical moment, which was an act of unparalleled courage!

If he is not a true Gryffindor, then who is?!

"Little Ronnie, Little Ronnie, oh! oh!" The twins shook their hips mockingly, like Enchantress cheerleaders at a Quidditch match, showing no signs of embarrassment.
