Chapter 250 - Chapter 134: Secret Chamber, Snake Monster, Tom! (Part 4)

Who am I?

Where am I?

What am I going to do?

It realized what the "True Gaunt" in front of it really meant——Damn mixed blood, here to beg at the Gaunt family?

Could it be... all this time, it had been deceived by that 'little master'?

"Then you are?" the Snake Monster tentatively asked.

"Omnius Gaunt!" Harry said proudly, "The great descendant of Slytherin! By blood, your 'little master' should call me grandfather!"

The Snake Monster shook upon hearing Harry's words!

Oh my! It was actually the ancestor of the Gaunt Clan...

But... why so young? It was a bit puzzled.

Then, it asked.

"Master Omnius, why do you... look so young?"

"Because of Time Magic, little snake," Harry snorted, "Didn't you know? I have awakened the heritage of Ancient Magic..."

Harry just wanted to brag a little about Ancient Magic, but unexpectedly, after hearing his words, the Snake Monster let out a piercing blast!

"Ancient Magic! Ah! Ancient Magic!"

What's going on?

Harry looked at the Snake Monster writhing like an earthworm sprinkled with salt, secretly pulling out his Magic Wand, ready to use a Magic Spell if the situation called for it.

"You have actually awakened Ancient Magic! It seems you must be a descendant of the great old master Slytherin!" The Snake Monster's tone suddenly became flattering, "Oh my, you are really... truly great, it seems I should believe you—do you know? Even the old master's children couldn't awaken Ancient Magic... Oh my, such an honor, such an honor to meet... such a pure Slytherin heir!"

For a moment, Harry felt like he was a bad boy who had snatched someone else's girlfriend.

And he did it by deception.

He didn't doubt, even if Voldemort appeared in front of him now, it would be difficult to command this Snake Monster in the slightest.

"Honorable master..." the Snake Monster slithered over, its tone obsequious, "Please allow me to serve by your side... Master Tom... no, that mixed blood Mudblood shamelessly deceived me, he wasn't even willing to take me out of this Secret Chamber..."

"Why?" Harry asked in confusion.

"I don't know." The Snake Monster dejectedly swung its tail, thudding against the ground.

"If you don't mind, I have a Traceless Stretching Spell wallet here," Harry said to the Snake Monster, "But I can understand as well, after all, you're a Snake Monster, he was afraid you might petrify others when you went out."

"As long as I don't petrify the master, it's fine." The Snake Monster happily wagged its tail like a little dog, "You should know, a true Slytherin heir would not be afraid of a Snake Monster's Petrification Spell."

"Why?" Harry asked curiously, also wondering why Tom wasn't killed by looking at the Snake Monster the first time he let it out.

"Because the Snake Monster doesn't kill those born with Serpent Tongue, and this ability can be controlled," the Snake Monster said happily, "So, when will you take me out, my honorable master?"

Seeing Harry's hesitation, the Snake Monster hesitated and hissed, "Master, I can eat a little less, even though I'm large, I really can eat a little less—"

"Alright," Harry didn't refuse since playing with a snake could be quite fun.

Harry opened the wallet and suddenly remembered something important.

"But there's one more thing, I need some Snake Monster Poison Fangs."

"Oh, this." The Snake Monster shook its head and moved closer to Harry.

Two poison fangs fell to the ground with a clatter.

"If that's not enough, I can shed some more," the Snake Monster said, "But I need some food... After all, you know, I haven't eaten anything in a long time."

Harry beckoned, and the two poison fangs flew into his hand.

He was still a little uneasy, not daring to bend down to pick them up, so he had to perform a bit of Wandless Magic.

"Truly a genius, worthy of being the old master's descendant!" The Snake Monster cheerfully said, "Look at this Wandless Magic trick!"

Harry smiled and opened the wallet, saying, "Come inside, after I get out, I'll get you some food—how about some beef? Do you eat beef?"

"I do, master, as long as you don't drop chickens down for me," the Snake Monster hissed, "But I prefer eating Eight-eyed Giant Spiders—you know, that kind of creature has tender meat."

"Got it." Harry nodded, saying, "By the way, I haven't asked your name yet."

"Alfonso," the Snake Monster replied, "It's the name the old master gave me."

"Alright, got it, come inside, Alfonso." He said.

The Snake Monster slithered a few steps and Harry put it into the wallet with a pop.

Even as he packed up the Snake Monster, Harry still felt like he was in a dream.

Was it really that simple to deal with the Snake Monster?

What made him even more incredulous was that he only needed a few words to make a Snake Monster obediently crawl into his wallet...

Looks like it's time to deeply study the knowledge of the Gaunt family, he thought.

He stuffed the Snake Monster's poison fangs into his pocket, changed his clothes back to Gryffindor style, and used Apparition to arrive at the gates of Hogwarts castle.

Apparition cannot be done inside Hogwarts, but he was in the Secret Chamber after all—the Secret Chamber is underneath Black Lake, so it's not really inside the castle.

The first thing he did upon returning to Hogwarts wasn't going to the Map Secret Room, but heading directly to the Headmaster's Office.

Vivi's matter was certainly important, but he absolutely couldn't let Voldemort get away.
