Chapter 348 - Chapter 160: Who Else Would Love You? Dumbledore?

Just like Tina said, why go to the United States to see magical creatures? They don't even welcome us, and we're even on the list of people not allowed to enter, so there's really no need to rush over.

No matter how much you love magical creatures, you wouldn't go that far, would you?

"Your aunt?" Abufosi asked curiously, "How come I've never heard you have an aunt?"

"I'll introduce you in a few days," Newt could only say that.

"I'll come to Hogwarts tomorrow." As he said this, Abufosi glanced over at the relaxed Gellert, "I need to keep a close eye on him, so he doesn't stir up trouble all the time, encouraging students to do things they shouldn't!"

Gellert casually rested one hand behind his head, waving dismissively at Abufosi, like Jerry's older cousin.

"Relax, goat boy," Gellert said leisurely, "I'm not interested in inciting these Hogwarts students—they've already been completely ruined by Hogwarts. If it weren't for Vida coming here, I think in the field of Defense Against the Dark Arts, they might be even worse off."

Abufosi wanted to retort, but when he thought of those Aurors in the British Magic World who couldn't even understand the Iron Armor Spell, he held back.

This is indeed a problem with Hogwarts.

"So what about your Pig Head Bar, Abufosi?" Dumbledore asked.

"I'll run it in the evenings, and I can also temporarily hire someone to work for me in the bar." Abufosi said gruffly, "Do you remember that kid from your Phoenix Society? The one who's always going to the Screaming Shack? Remus Lupin?"

"Of course, I remember." Professor Dumbledore nodded.

"I'm temporarily hiring him to the Pig Head Bar, since he currently doesn't have much of a job."

At this, Abufosi said gruffly, "I don't think you're a qualified leader, Albus, Remus works tirelessly for you, and yet you can't even provide for his basic living needs."

"His situation is somewhat special, Abufosi," Dumbledore sighed, "You know, someone like him, it's very difficult to find work in the magic world."

However...

Dumbledore suddenly thought, maybe he could have Remus Lupin replace Vida Rozier and become the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts next semester?

The more he thought about it, the more fitting it seemed. Lupin was struggling financially and probably wouldn't care much about Voldemort's curse.

"But that's not your excuse, Albus." Abufosi said gruffly, "As for those potions, I think you should take responsibility!"

"Alright." Dumbledore nodded, "Who made me the major shareholder of Duke Honey now?"

Hearing this, everyone present had a sinking expression.

Goodness, hasn't it been almost half a year?

How come you haven't forgotten about that yet?

But Dumbledore didn't care about the strange looks from everyone.

"Oh, and by the way," he added, "I think we can recruit Remus into Hogwarts next year, after all, we do need a new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

As he said this, Dumbledore gave Harry a mysterious wink.

Harry didn't know what Dumbledore meant; he assumed it was a joke Dumbledore made with students.

But Dumbledore thought Harry would know about Lupin's existence, after all, he had seen his mother's memories.

But here's the problem: when seeing the memories, whether it was James Potter or Sirius Black, they referred to Lupin as "Moony," not Remus or Lupin.

Maybe they called him Lupin's name in other situations, but at least in the memories Harry saw, they didn't.

"Perhaps the Pig Head Bar should be renamed," Dumbledore said meaningfully, "Abufosi, what do you think of the name Wolf Head Bar?"

"That's not funny, Albus." Abufosi glared at Dumbledore harshly.

Although Lupin is a werewolf, as long as he takes the Wolfsbane Potion, he won't cause any harm.

This is a recently invented magic potion; taken a week before the full moon, a werewolf will remain rational even if they turn into a wolf.

But Dumbledore knows that Severus happens to be capable of brewing this potion.

The only problem is the Wolfsbane Potion is quite expensive; Dumbledore shallowly calculated that Lupin would need at least six bottles of Wolf Poison Potion before coming to Hogwarts for school, which means he has to cover the cost of six bottles for Lupin.

Though he has to pay, Dumbledore isn't heartbroken, after all, Lupin is a member of his Phoenix Society.

But then the question arises, if Lupin enters the school, the cost of these Wolf Poison Potions could be reimbursed by the school board.

Saving some money is naturally a good thing; Dumbledore doesn't mind undermining the school board a bit.

The matter was settled like that, and Abufosi didn't say much more about it.

On the other hand, Gellert seemed quite happy, privately praising Abufosi for his contribution multiple times.

He really didn't want to be a teaching assistant at Hogwarts; he felt that someone like himself should live in a peaceful place, not be surrounded by a bunch of silly kids.

Although he did quite like Ron, at least Ron is simple-minded, and they get along well.

Gellert's friendship with Ron evolved from initially being beneficial to genuine friendship.

Of course, Ron doesn't know Gellert's true identity; otherwise, he might faint from fright.

Being friends with Gellert Grindelwald, isn't that basically being the second-in-command of the Witch Purist Party?

That's someone who should be thrown in jail, at least Azkaban couldn't hold him.

Meanwhile, Gellert became tense.

Since he's leaving Hogwarts next semester, the matter of breaking up his sister and Scarhead needs to be put on the agenda soon.

How exactly should he break them up?

Gellert mused, feeling he should find a surefire way.

Find that Miss Malfoy?

But Miss Malfoy is now trapped somewhere unknown, too far away, so distant help is of no use.

That unicorn Miss Swedding?

Also seems a bit unreliable, that unicorn... she doesn't seem capable of doing anything big.

Gellert started racking his brains, trying to figure out what to do.

After thinking for several days, he actually came up with a good idea.

"Let's do it this way!" He thought happily, getting up to find Newt to discuss.
