Chapter 292 - Chapter 191: Mixed Good and Bad

"Hanzo's invitation... what do you all think we should do?"

Yahiko looked at the invitation in his hand and asked the other members of the Akatsuki Organization; he didn't believe that Hanzo would be so kind. Last time, Hanzo tried to kill them, so he wanted to seek another solution.

After the one million ryo supported by Sarutobi Hiruzen was spent, they had to come out as ninjas again to earn rewards.

But this time, the Akatsuki Organization was a bit surprised. After being active for a while, the Hidden Rain Ninja found the members of the Akatsuki Organization; however, the Hidden Rain Ninja did not attack them but delivered this invitation to the Akatsuki Organization members.

And they asked them to deliver it to the leader of the Akatsuki Organization, eventually passing it through multiple hands, finally reaching Yahiko.

"Hanzo certainly has no good intentions, let's ignore him!"

"That's right, the Hidden Rain Village isn't that strong either; if we really fight, they might not be our match...."

The one who just spoke was a standard member in the Akatsuki Organization with strength but no brains. However, the tasks assigned to him were always completed honestly, so he participated in this meeting, but basically no one listened to what he had to say.

"I've heard that the Hidden Rain has been having a hard time recently. It seems that during the last war, the Hidden Rain Village took quite a few benefits from the Hidden Sand Ninja, but with the strength of the Hidden Rain Village, it's hard to hold onto them...."

"Does that mean Hanzo wants to negotiate with us? But he tried to assassinate Master Yahiko and Master Konan last time."

"I didn't say Hanzo is trustworthy, I just said it's a possibility...."

Everyone started discussing, each with their own thoughts. Yahiko listened for a while, but he felt that everyone had valid points, except for the member who wanted to go to war with the Hidden Rain Village.

"Konan, Nagato, what about you... never mind, Mr. Nankai, what's your opinion?"

Yahiko initially wanted to ask Konan and Nagato's opinions, but suddenly remembered they usually follow him, so he turned to ask Uchiha Fugaku.

"I'll still listen to the leader..."

"Mr. Nankai, go ahead, it's okay."

Uchiha Fugaku saw Yahiko's expression, thinking that this young man has indeed grown. Although he hasn't stopped monitoring him, since he hasn't found anything suspicious, he hopes Fugaku can offer a good idea.

However, Uchiha Fugaku knew this should be the work of the one claiming to be Madara. Now is the time for him to help.

"Hanzo's words definitely can't be trusted. Him inviting you, leader, might be a scheme of some sort, but we lack intelligence; we don't know what Hanzo intends...."

Uchiha Fugaku paused for a moment, then continued, "If the leader chooses not to go, the organization should prepare for the Hidden Rain's attack, because if Hanzo's plan fails, he might outright declare war....

If the leader chooses to go, we must also be prepared, as he might be after your life. If we can avoid this, it would leave Hanzo with nothing; how to choose is up to the leader's decision."

The consequences of both choices were clearly stated, but Uchiha Fugaku also employed a rhetorical trap; not going would mean Yahiko cares about his own life, unwilling to put himself in danger, thus leaving other members of the Akatsuki Organization in peril.

The Akatsuki's separation wouldn't be far off by then, and lacking outside support, they would have to come out and be active.

So Yahiko initially only had one choice.

"I've decided to accept Hanzo's invitation. By then, I'll handle all the arrangements..."

Yahiko made his decision quickly after listening to Uchiha Fugaku, which moved the other Akatsuki members immensely, as their leader disregarded his own safety to avoid them being threatened by the Hidden Rain.

"Leader, let me accompany you then."

"And me, I will ensure the leader's safety...."

Yahiko interrupted everyone and then said, "Rest assured, I will be fine, having Nagato with me is sufficient."

Uchiha Fugaku, hearing this, shook his head inwardly, realizing that from the start they were just pawns, and no matter how much they struggled now, it was of no use.

Upon waking up, Uchiha Yoichi thought about the almost chaotic dream learning from last night and shook his head secretly: "As expected, it's unreliable to completely rely on luck. Opportunities like learning from Hong on the first day are indeed few."

This ability is available once a day, and as soon as he falls asleep, he enters the dream, even if only sleeping for a minute, he can use this opportunity, learning for three days in the dream.

These three days, he hardly learned anything useful. On the first day, he learned to make parts with a seventh-level machinist named Liu Mouzhong, but that person had a bad temper, and in the end, Uchiha Yoichi ended up fighting with him in the dream.

The second day was somewhat rewarding. He happened to become an assistant to Kilian, the founder of AIM in the Marvel World, but it was shortly after Kilian founded AIM.

Although Uchiha Yoichi learned the theoretical knowledge of the Desperate Virus from Kilian, converting it into a mature Desperate Virus would require extensive research over time.

Kilian himself took nearly ten years to develop an imperfect Desperate Virus.

On the third day, Uchiha Yoichi felt like he went to the Doupo World, but it was a bit different from the Doupo World he remembered. He became a sect disciple upon arrival and then encountered the Little Medical Immortal at an auction...
