"After Nawaki is resurrected, I'll make up for your other regret, Tsunade; for now, just get some rest, so you won't be all tipsy when you see Nawaki tomorrow!"
Having said this, Uchiha Yoichi waved his hand and walked out. As he stepped out, he ran into Shizune, who hadn't managed to hide in time, so he gestured to her before heading downstairs to request a room from the innkeeper.
After Uchiha Yoichi left, Shizune hurried into Tsunade's room and asked the moment she approached Tsunade, "Lady Tsunade? Are you alright?"
"Lady Tsunade, are you under an Illusion Technique?"
Shizune shook Tsunade's white shoulders, snapping her back to reality.
Seeing that it was Shizune, Tsunade hastily wiped away the tears from the corner of her eye, then asked assertively, "What's the matter, Shizune?"
"Lady Tsunade, just now with Lord Yoichi..."
"Nothing much, we were talking about Ninjutsu!"
Recalling what just happened, Tsunade blushed and quickly interrupted, "If there's nothing else, then go to bed earlier. I have a headache now."
"Alright, okay..."
Shizune still looked skeptical, but seeing Tsunade lying directly in bed and burying herself under the quilt, only exposing a bit of her hair, she knew she wouldn't get any answers and left the room.
"I'm leaving now, Lady Tsunade."
Once Shizune left, Tsunade's face emerged all red from the quilt, her heart filled with a mix of embarrassment and anger as she recollected the recent events.
'That shy little ghost dared to take advantage of me and did such a thing, and Shizune even saw it!'
However, she didn't feel any aversion; from beginning to end, not a bit of aversion. If she had felt any, she would have punched him with her Monster Strength.
"Hmph, that cunning little ghost, beating around the bush doing all this, and saying he'd make up for my other regret..."
Tsunade clenched her fists and punched the quilt in embarrassment and anger, then gradually recalled the earlier events as she calmed down.
She suddenly realized that she indeed didn't dislike that shy little ghost; not only did she not dislike him, but she even had some affection growing in her heart; the sight of him would make her happy, leaving her wanting to be with that shy little ghost.
Constantly talking about the changes in Konoha Village was his way to prove that becoming Hokage would make the village better. Knowing her regrets, he tried hard to make up for them; this shy little ghost truly did everything he could.
As for Dan...
"I'm sorry, Dan, I think I've moved on..."
Tsunade smiled softly, then took out the Kunai that Uchiha Yoichi had given her and cut her wrist slightly with it.
Blood trickled, but Tsunade no longer felt her old phobia of blood.
She then formed a Sealing and used Medical Ninjutsu to heal the slight wound, preparing to wash up afterwards.
She couldn't afford for Nawaki to see a tipsy sister tomorrow!
————————————
Early the next morning, Tsunade was awakened by Uchiha Yoichi.
However, to Uchiha Yoichi's surprise, Tsunade was already prepared; when he went to wake her up, she had been awake for quite some time.
"Why are you looking at me like that? I sober up from drinking fast."
Tsunade huffed slightly and shook her fist; she might not realize it herself, but her tone towards Uchiha Yoichi had become informal, almost somewhat reliant.
Shizune, who didn't understand what was happening in the early morning, was called up by Tsunade. Initial plans didn't include her, but hearing about it, she touched her hair and just followed, so she had to be brought along in the end.
In a wooded area, Uchiha Yoichi tied the sacrificial victim to a tree.
Uchiha Yoichi said, "A convict from the Land of Fire, killed and robbed many civilians; at least contributing something before his end makes him of some use."
Tsunade curiously asked, "Did you take a trip to the Land of Fire in the middle of the night?"
"Flying Thunder God Jutsu, I'm now the Hokage Assistant!"
"You learned the Flying Thunder God Jutsu from Second Grandfather? With your talent, it's possible..."
After saying this, Tsunade recalled the Kunai he had given her, feeling a bit peculiar. But with Nawaki's imminent resurrection, she couldn't afford to think about anything else now.
Uchiha Yoichi prepared the items: Nawaki's flesh and bones and a Scroll, then quickly formed a Sealing: "Reanimation Jutsu!"
A large number of paper scraps enveloped the sacrificial victim, who then emitted a tragic wailing.
Shizune shivered slightly from the sight, but Tsunade showed no reaction… criminals already roused no sympathy in her.
Nawaki's appearance soon surfaced on the Reanimation Body, and as he gained consciousness, Nawaki suddenly realized he was tied to a tree.
"Who are you... Sister? Why are you here..."
Nawaki instantly recognized Tsunade, because she looked almost unchanged, and quickly he noticed the bindings were loose and easily broke free.
"Sister, what's going on? Wasn't I dead?"
Upon seeing Nawaki, Tsunade couldn't hold back tears and stepped forward eagerly, "Nawaki..."
"Hold the reunion for later, Tsunade, there's no rush."
Uchiha Yoichi stopped Tsunade with a hand, then used Wood Release to bind Nawaki, preventing him from making any moves and wasting Pupil Power.
"Wood Release? Sister, who is he?"
Even when bound by Wood Release, Nawaki didn't struggle, because Tsunade was there right before him, and he remembered he was supposed to be dead...
"Ōmononushi no kami!"
The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan emerged, and a vast Pupil Power transformed into vitality, instantly pouring onto Nawaki's body.
Where the gods of longevity and decay have been, death shall not remain.
Psss!
A living aura emanated from Nawaki, followed by Uchiha Yoichi's right eye tearing blood, and the next second, a stronger aura surged from Nawaki, producing a massive amount of smoke.
Realizing Nawaki was fully resurrected, Uchiha Yoichi closed the Sharingan, covering his eyes.
His Pupil Power had consumed some energy, though not as exaggerated as he imagined; only this Pupil Technique needs two or three years to recover. With the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and Hashirama Cells, he's nearly the closest to the Six Paths in the Ninja World, without Madara's revival.
Feigning more dramatically can surely enhance Tsunade's favorability towards him.
"Are you alright? Let me heal you."
"No need, the Pupil Power depletion can only recover slowly; Medical Ninjutsu is useless to me."
Uchiha Yoichi waved him off; his current state seemed dramatic, but it's alright, just a little excessive use for revival.
Tsunade, now worried about Uchiha Yoichi, also eager to check on Nawaki; upon hearing Yoichi's words, and seeing he seemed fine, she went to Nawaki.
After a brief check on a bewildered Nawaki, Tsunade excitedly pulled him into her embrace—her brother was truly resurrected!
Nawaki, still perplexed, asked, "Sister, what exactly is going on?"
Tsunade explained his resurrection and told him it was now 50 years in Konoha; it has been over thirteen, fourteen years since his death until now.
Listening to all this, Nawaki felt complicated, yet one thing stood clear—being resurrected is simply wonderful!
Nawaki then approached Uchiha Yoichi, bowing with deep respect, "Senior Yoichi, thank you so much, the kindness of being revived is hard to repay..."
"No need for thanks, just thank your sister; it's all thanks to her."
Uchiha Yoichi waved dismissively, prompting Nawaki to consider a possibility.
Nawaki looked at his sister, then at Uchiha Yoichi, before smiling, "I understand now, brother-in-law..."
Bang!
"Idiot Nawaki, don't make me angry just after being resurrected!"
"It hurts, sister!"
Despite knocking on Nawaki's head, seeing him holding it in pain made Tsunade smile with satisfaction.
Uchiha Yoichi said, "Let's head back first..."
"Wait a moment, this is for you."
Tsunade took off the prized necklace of the Senju Race, worth several mountains, from her neck, then approached Uchiha Yoichi and put it around his neck.
Noticing the smile on Uchiha Yoichi's face, Tsunade quickly turned her head away and said,
"Don't get the wrong idea, this is just a thank you, it's the most precious thing I have... And you better not lose the bet!"
