The heavy iron door of the dungeon slammed shut as Leo along with Seraphine and Belladonna walked out of the dungeon.
Behind the thick iron door, the muffled, gurgling screams of Caelum were growing fainter and fainter as they were swallowed by the stone walls.
"Is this punishment for Caelum or pleasure?" Leo muttered, adjusting the cuffs of his coat, a dark smirk playing on his lips.
He glanced at the two women.
To his left was Seraphine. As if she did not hear him, she continued to walk forward.
As she walked, her steps made no sound. There was a sense of relief in her heart, the rock on her heart was finally removed.
The burden she had carried for years was finally gone..
On his right was Belladonna. She just smirked in response to his question. She wiped a speck of crimson from her cheek with a casual, almost bored motion, her tongue flicking out to taste it.
