As if killing my parents weren't enough, those bastards were trying to take me and my friend down. They were actually messing with my city, and that is something I would never allow in a million years. I would make them pay and beg for dear life.
Burning their land was me been nice but they didn't deal with niceness, I guess. So, I needed show them what a cold-hearted person could do.
"Caleb, I'm glad you made it," John spoke.
"I'm also here," I said.
"Jackson, not now," Caleb said. "John, how are you doing?"
"Well, pissed, those bastards destroyed my home and my family," he looked down, running a hand across his face. Caleb walked and hugged him.
"It will be fine. I'm sorry I wasn't there," he said and I heard him sniff before letting John go.
"Do you know where they might be?" I asked, making sure I didn't sound like I didn't care about his pain.
Someone took his family away; I understood that more than anyone might. But as much as we were hurt, we needed to put an end to the dragons once and for all. That is the only way we would find peace of mind and make sure our families didn't die for nothing.
"Not really. But I think they are in their caves," John said, scratching his butt.
"Dude, don't you have extra clothes with you?" I finally asked.
"Do you see me with a backpack?" He answered, not even considering he sounded rude.
I brushed my anger away due to Caleb's look. "Well, don't walk like that."
"Guy's focus, we need to go to the caves!" Caleb screamed.
"Do you know where the caves are located?" I asked.
If we can find them there then our work will be easy. It also meant the press won't be there to video everything that might occur. And my other wish was to find all of the them there. If we could kill all of them at their caves, then we could finally close the dragon chapter and just deal with the vampires.
"Yeah, I do," John replied.
"How far from here?" Caleb asked.
"Not too far. If Jackson wants to do his shadow walking stuff, we can get there. Just one trip."
"Then let's go," I said.
They came and touched me. But before I shadow walked us to the caves, I called my powers just in case. Appealing in front of the dragon without powers would be… suicidal for us.
I closed my eyes and within a few seconds; we were standing a few feet from the caves. They were stones higher than I thought. Despite it been rocks, they made it look like home. They were covers were I suspected to be openings to their homes. Some flowers to brighten up the place and just enough to make it feel like home to them.
As I looked further, I spotted the dragons in their human forms. A woman with black curly hair, that blushed her shoulders nicely, then she did a dramatic hair push-back as she finished talking. She was black in complexion and was about mother's age. She wore a blue well-designed dress that went all the way to covering her feet.
She was talking to a man who was about three times her age. Same skin color as hers. Her had short hair that he maintained very well. He wore black trousers, a white t-shirt and sneakers.
Then as I looked ahead of them a spotted a boy with long dark hair, probably because of lack of shaving products or machines. Though that was null due to his father looking perfectly trimmed. A long narrow face and black in complexion, like his parents. He was maybe nine years old, but I could have been way off. I wasn't an excellent judge of those things.
So presumably these bastards were married and had a son. I was kinder, relieved because I anticipated they would have more children than one. I was actually expecting to see a lot of them, but by the looks of things, these three were the only dragons around. I was hoping against all odds that was the case. They were three of us, and fighting two was suicidal already. So, if they were more of them, then we might just meet our doom.
"So, what is the plan? Are we just gonna storm and start kicking their butts?" I asked, looking from Caleb to John.
"Well, they are not expecting us. So, I was thinking, you should shadow walk us very close to them. I and John will transform on the way. You also get your powers ready, ok?" Caleb suggested.
"Sure," I said.
They touched me as their bodies began changing. So, before they began yelling in agony, I shadow walked us to the dragons. Hoping against hope this would be in our favor.
Just as we appeared there. Caleb and John punched the dragons, and they went flying, hitting the rocks.
All of them were massive bastards, and I was just in my human form. So, if by any chance one of the dragons hit me, and I go flying then slam my head on a rock I could be unconscious. Actually, even damage my head for that matter.
Before they hit the ground, they both tapped in their dragon forms.
The woman was a water dragon. She was built of Cristal-looking scales that glittered in the sun and her eyes were the exact color of water per her dragon type. I was wondering why the hell she was not even melting. It was very hot that I was sweating in places I had never sweated before.
Her husband was a nature dragon. Built with green, tree-ish-looking scales. With green eyes. Vines protruded from his body and they were blushing the rocky grounds.
There was no car I could think of that could have been compared to how vast they looked. Even Caleb and John were just enough to reach into the dragons' thighs. Well, as for me, only in their ankles.
Sadly.
The water dragon breathed out water at me. I sidestepped and vanished only to appear a few feet from where I was. The water struck the rock, and it froze.
My hand reached out to touch a rock for balance as my legs suddenly felt like giving up. If I didn't act smart then that could have been me. And I thought they all breathed out fire. So that means her husband can breathe out trees? Just thinking about it made my heart hop up and down from my stomach to my neck.
She turned to look at me for a while before she breathed water again. I quickly made a protective shield then held up my hand and sent her slamming the rocks, which apparently closed the entrance to one of the homes. She looked at me and I could see fire dancing in her eyes despite being a water dragon. I was also shocked that not even a single ice brock from her body.
I snapped my fingers, but the fire I created got extinguished immediately it came out. I don't know what I was thinking; she was a water dragon, so fire probably wouldn't work.
There goes my finishing move.
I had to figure something out as soon as possible or that was going to be my last day on earth.
