At the foot of Mount Ashveil, surrounded by dense forest, flowing rivers, huge boulders, there was a quiet village.

Rays of sunlight fell on wheat fields, that made them shine like gold under the sky. crystal clear water flowed through the mountains, and a gentle breeze blew across the field that made grass swing in a rhythm.
In the bright sunlight, people worked hard in the field with their tools,sweat flowed down from their faces .
woman gathered water from the nearby river in wooden buckets. They laughed and chattered on their way to home .
children played peacefull, their voice echoed through the field.
At night people gathered around the huge banyan tree located at the center of the village. It's branches spread across in all direction. people sat beneath it, lit a fire , talked about their problems, shared food and lived a happy life.
It was peaceful.
It was perfect.
It felt like heaven.

Among these villagers there were four inseparable friends Kaen, Riku, Lyra and Daren.
They laughed, played, and cherished every moment they had together.
Kaen, a twelve-year-old boy, he had messy black hair, and was the most restless among them .
He could never sit still.
He always wanted adventure in his life.His eyes always searched for something far beyond the mountains. He often wondered what would be out over there , what the world looked like beyond Oravale.
He was always curious and wanted to know more and more about the world.
Riku was his best friend , taller than Kaen and was calm in nature.
She always cared about others and had a sharp mind for her age. She didn't speak much but whenever she did, her words carried meaning far deeper than her years.
She always helped kaen whenever he got into trouble.
Lyra was gentle and kind. Her brown hair was always tied, and she had a melodious voice. Whenever she sang birds gathered around her and used to sing with her.
She often helped people in need and Everyone in the village loved her for it .
She had soft corner for animals and loved playing with them.
Daren was tall, strong, and the loudest of them all. If Kaen jumped over one fence, Daren would jump over two. If Kaen climbed a tree, Daren would climb twice the height of it.
His pride was big and so was his heart .
He was brave, loyal, and always used to stood up for weak People.
The four of them ran across the fields, climbed trees, swung from the branches, and rode on the horses across the plains.
Life was simple and peaceful for them , until the day the storm appeared and destroyed their lives.

That night, moonlight spread across the whole village , and moon glowed like a diamond.
People laughed and talked beneath the banyan tree .
Kaen climbed a nearby tree .
Riku called out," Be careful or you might break your bones !"
Kaen laughed and said ,"what if I jump and land like a hero ?"
Riku said , "Don't act like fool. you can't do that".
Daren laughed and began climbing the same tree .
Kaen shouted, "Don't try it, you won't be able to climb it ! "
Hearing that, Daren smiled and quickly climbed the tree. He said,"I can do anything you can do, don't underestimate me!"
Lyra smiled at them as Daren and kaen argued, while she and riku enjoyed their fight.

Then
The ground began to tremble .
The wind changed its direction.
Birds flew out from the trees .
Animals in the forest started running everywhere , their voices echoed through the darkness , that could be heard by the villagers.
From the forest, a shadow appeared, tall as a giant, It's roar echoed through the forest that made the villagers terrified .
The moon hide behind dark clouds.
People began to run while the children stood frozen in fear.
As the shadow drew closer, terror spread across every faces. It wasn't just a monster, it was a prehistoric dinosaur, the same kind their ancestor had only spoken of in legends.
how could they be here?
Dinosaurs had gone extinct millions of years ago.
How could they return now?
How was this even possible?
The creature was massive, it looked like a T-Rex. Sharp scales covered its back. claws strong enough to tear through anything that come in its way. Scars covered its body ,one of its eyes was blinded by an old wound. With every step it took, the ground trembled and cracks appeared in the earth.
Behind it came many more dinosaurs some fast,some small, some huge, some wild and terrifying.
They charged into the village, destroying houses made of straw and wood. Flames spread as the beasts destroyed the houses , crushing everything that came in their path.
People screamed and ran to save their lives.
Mothers clutched their children tightly and ran through the chaos, tears in their eyes, wounds in their legs but couldn't stop because if they did they will get killed.
The dinosaurs were fast.
Some villagers were caught and killed instantly.
Terror spread across the village.
Kaen and his friends ran as fast as they could, chased by a massive dinosaur. Their hearts beat increase ,they weren't just running for their lives, they were running from the end of their world.

As they ran Lyra slipped and fell .
kaen rushed towards her to help her but the monster was right behind them.
suddenly, a villagers saw them and shouted to draw the dinosaur attention towards him. The dinosaur turned and charged at him.
Lyra got up, dusted her dress. she got wound and her leg started bleeding, but she again began running towards a safe place as she didn't want to die.
The scence they saw while runing were heartbreaking, people were crushed by these huge beast, children cried beside their mother who died protecting them, their voices echoed through the entire village.
Kaen felt sorrow for the kids but couldn't stop to help them .
They finally reached the emergency chamber,a cave built long ago to protect villagers from floods and natural calamities.
They moved forward to search for their family member.
The scence the saw their was horrible, somehad lost their hands, some lost their legs, some lower body was completely crushed
Kaen and his friend made a decision that would split and serach for their family member. Made a promise to each other that they will reunite here at the same spot after an hour .
All of them ran across different direction to search for there family member.
Riku ran across the ruins, seraching desperately for her family. She spotted her father from a distant and ran towards him, she was happy to see him.
Then she began to search for her mother, she was nowhere to seen.
She asked her father where she was.
Tears kept falling from father eyes .
"she asked is she killed?"
Silence was there on her father face .
Riku shook her head. "No.... These can't happen, she can't be dead."
She broke down and fell on her knees tear rolled down across her face.
Her father came towards her and hugged her.
daren on the other hand found his grandpa and younger siblings, but lost his father.
Lyra found her big brother and mother .
Everyone found their family, but they all suffered a loss in form of their family members .
Among them kaen couldn't find anyone not his sister,not his brother, not his mother.
After an hour ,The three gathered around the same spot searching for kaen he was nowhere to be found.
In a distant Lyra saw him and said friend see kaen his over there , they all rushed towards her .
When they went towards him they saw him, he was in a state of complete fear as he couldnt find him he whispered " Are the all dead ?"
Riku said,"Don't speak such stupid words ,we will find them, don't lose hope.
He cried and and shouted, "where will you find them in the dust of the village which is completely destroyed by these huge monster.
Riku felt his pain but couldn't do anything to relief her pain .
They all looked at kaen in despair .
Kaen said I can't sit here anymore I need to search for them maybe they are alive after all, I shouldn't waste any more time waiting over here.
He than rushed towards the cave entrance, but was stopped by the villagers .
It's dangerous out there you can't go .
But my family is still there.
"There won't be anyone alive, surviving these massacres."
Kaen said," you are wrong maybe they somehow managed to protect themselves."
"Don't acts as a foul , there will be no one out there."
They might have got killed, lf you go out, you might also get killed.
I don't care about myself I just want to protect my family .
How can I let them die in there if they are alive.
Villagers became speechless, they had no words to say .
He freed himself from the villagers and ran outside to search for them .
"They can't die," No way they can die they must have hide somewhere safe, I just need to find them ."
He ran towards the smoke that covered the village, But disappeared within it.
The night was truly a nightmare for him.
