Sunny's POV
For the past few weeks Sunny had tried to survive the Dream Realm even though it was hard. After he finished this first nightmare, Sunny prepared himself for the Dream Realm day and night without any rest.
After coming to the Dream Realm, Sunny found himself in deep black water, struggling to survive the clash between Nightmare creatures. That was his first day in the Dream Realm. Well, struggling to survive was not new to Sunny.
As an outskirts rat, he had to learn things the hard way, way harder than normies. Life was hard, and it had never been easy for a guy like Sunny, and he knew it well enough to try hard.
Sunny's progression had become easier after he joined with Nephis and Cassie. Although he didn't trust anyone but himself. He knows that he can't survive in the Dream Realm alone.
Today, Sunny woke from this sleep and practised with his sword. Then it was time to eat breakfast.
'Umm, it smells good; I'm hungry,' said Sunny inwardly.
To his surprise, Nephis can cook. Legacies were taught not only how to fight but also how to cook, navigate their surroundings, and so on.
While Sunny was in this imaginary world. Nephis looked at him and said, "You're done," with a face without any emotions.
Sunny looked at her; by now he knew that Nephis had problems in expressing herself.
"Yeah," Sunny came and sat next to her.
Cassie woke from her slumber, looked around, and said with a hoarse voice, "Morning, sunny neph." As Sunny replies, Nephis simply nods.
"We are going west until we reach a place to camp from the black water."
"Yeah, I think it's going to be more harrowing than yesterday."
Nephis looked at him and nodded and spoke, "That is why we must get to the next camping place before the Nightmare creatures completely devour their feast."
"I will draw their attention, and Sunny," she turned to him and continued, "you will finish them from the back as usual."
After they finished their meal, the trio moved towards the west. The journey was packed with horror and painful and tormenting moments.
Nonetheless, they reached a headless statue, and they saw a naked man at the top looking at them.
The stranger was a guy with blonde hair and golden eyes that looked as if they could see through the flesh into the heart. When Sunny looked at the naked stranger, he felt the will of a predator.
Both Sunny and Nephis looked at each other and summoned their memories. With a hesitation, Nephis took the first step and opened her mouth and said, "Are you a human?" The stranger looked at them as if they were crazy and replied quickly, "Of course I am."
Sunny knows that when an awakened one comes to the Dream Realm, the mundane clothes always stay in the waking realm. Even though he knew, he asked, "Then why are you naked?"
Then the stranger's face shifted slightly for a brief moment but then returned to normal. The stranger opened his mouth and said, "Do any of you guys have something to wear?"
