This chapter serves as a map out of the novel world. The information is gradually revealed within the story but is duplicated here for ease of access.
Clearly you know that this is a fanfic, but some things would be better if I clarify them.
First, the novel is based on a well known game, call ofduty hence I am sure that you will come to see that some content from the book is related to the game.
The ranks.
This are the levels one gets to grow into after accomplishing some tasks and collecting EXP. The nine ranks one can level up are:
1. Rookie. ( Which goes from V to I )
2. Veteran. " ".
3. Elite. " ".
4. Elite Pro. " ".
5. Master. " ".
6. Grandmaster. " ".
7. Legendary. ( From Legendary going downwards, there is no sub- level ups, but something else which will be clearly explained later on.)
8. Mythic.
9. Divine,
Just like how humans can evolve, weapons, armors, gadgets and all the accessories have their own rankings which are:
1. Common.
2. Uncommon.
3. Rare.
4. Epic.
5. Mystique.
6. Profound.
7. Legendary.
8. Supreme.
9. Divine.
These weapon rankings correspond to the rankings of the boss one can find while in the game.
The Maps.
The maps are a bit unique, and have their own ranks. They are only five well known map rank in numbers. There are also other types which I will avoid mentioning them due to spoilers. The maps include:
1. Iconic Map.
2. Devilish Map.
3. Unsurmountable Maps.
4. Special Maps.
5. Unranked maps.
I will not explain much about them but you will get to know more about them while reading the book.
There are much to be said, like special classes players can get with their ranks, or other things but we will interact and get to know them pretty soon.
