The whole idea of calling a shareholders' meeting? That was Todd's brainchild. I'd never given a damn about Noah Group's shares. The only reason I even kept the ones Levi left me was to have something up my sleeve if Jill pulled any stunts.

Sure, I'd been sitting on those shares forever without lifting a finger. But Kevin wouldn't quit trying to snatch them from me, over and over again.

Fed up with his games, I suddenly got this wild idea—why not waltz into Noah Group myself?

Right now, Jill's only real power came from being a "Noah," backed by the family company.

I figured, what if she lost that safety net? Would her mask finally slip?

Looking at it that way, forcing my way into Noah Group actually seemed pretty brilliant.

Problem was, I'd never bothered with business growing up. Painting was the only thing I'd ever mastered. Even if I bulldozed my way in, Kevin would probably boot me out before the week was up.
