Sallie's POV
When Kane and Jill discovered the security footage would be examined, I watched their faces drain of color. They understood perfectly what had occurred—if the recordings were scrutinized, the reality would surface.
I hadn't intended to say much to these individuals. I understood they had no interest in my perspective or the actual events. Their sole desire was to pin blame on me and tarnish my reputation, and I was prepared to endure it.
However, when I looked up and caught Kane and Jill's expressions, I abruptly reconsidered.
"Alright, let's examine the camera recordings," I declared, locking eyes with the pair in an icy stare. "I'm eager to witness what heinous act you're claiming I committed now."
Harvey had anticipated I would plead and beg forgiveness, but my resistance stunned him. "What's with that tone? How dare you address me like that?" he bellowed, his complexion flushing crimson with fury.
The two Noah brothers entered just as this exchange occurred.
