"Andre, you flank the bunny left side. Yvonne, you give me see support while I draw it's agro to me."
One man could be seen among a party of three giving out instructions while they are battling a wild bunny.
Looking at another directions, Nil saw see people picking up the loots the wild bunny they just hunt dropped.
In another direction some could be seen running after a bunny that is heavily wounded. Apparently the bunny is trying to run away after seeing that it's death is imminent.
"Tsk, hunting trash-level monsters." Nil clicked his tongue while proceeding to walk deeper into the forest after seeing that majority of the players outside the kingdom gate are hunting low-level monsters.
Nil kept walking in a certain direction, ignoring and avoiding the players and other people that are hunting the bunnies— that is until he was stopped by a man.
Looking at the man, he is a fair skinned man and is around 180 centimeter tall, has an unnaturally broad shoulder for someone his height. More importantly, he has some kind of knight shield which he hang on his back, and Nil could notice that it is not Basic grade like the rest of the gear majority of the player have with them.
"Hi, my new is Adam, and—."
"I am not interested in forming a party with you guys." Nil cut him off before he could finish his speech.
Walking around him, he proceed deeper into the forest without glancing back at the man.
"That's, um.. embarrassing." The man said drawing his outstretched hand back while heading to where the rest of his party is.
"You know, You could have tried harder to convince him." The lady among his group said to him the man with shield on his back after he reached their midst.
"Firstly, how do I convince a man that did not even let me talk? Secondly if your talent is telling you that he is a good fighter why don't you go convince him yourself. Huh" he snuffed at the lady while wrapping his hand across his chest.
—Nil POV—
Some hours after ignoring the man with the shield.
After leaving the man, he had walked deeper into the forest and now here he is, right in an area devoid of forest and the previous lush green environment he was before.
He is now in a desert like environment, no trees around him, no life form, no greenery, only sand dunes is noticeable except for the ground being flat.
Nil avoided most of the sand dunes and approach one in particular, which he could now sense that it is radiating some kind of energy.
"Ah, this is it" Nil mumbled.
Them he stretch his hand forward at the sand dune in front of him.
At first when his hand touch the sand dune, he could feel the sensation of his hand touching sand, however that stopped after his hand reach approximately 7 inches as part of his fingers that have gone past 7 inches into the sand began feeling lightweight
But Nil did not bother about that feeling and rather plung himself into the sand dune, forcefully squeezing himself into it.
'Ah, feels like the time when I had to leave to squeeze myself among those crowd at the gate.' Thought Nil
When Nil plunged himself past 7 inches into the sand dune he could finally feel the force of the sand squeezing him receding as he could not fell any part of his body for a moment and in the next moment he met himself in another place.
*Cough*
*Cough*
Nil coughed profusely while he was dusting the sand on his cloth away.
"Guess it's a cave." Nil said after getting a hang on his bearing.
Of course, he knew he will be transported into a cave, he was only saying that to humor himself.
[Ding!]
[You have discovered a secret dungeon.]
[You have been awarded a skill for being the first player to discover a dungeon.]
"What a generous reward, I hope it won't be a fluke like before, Genes." Nil said to the air as he checked on the reward.
[Ding!]
[Skill name: See]
[Skill grade: Mythical]
[Skill description: You can see any information about any being, anything as long as you are strong enough to view it.
The stronger your will the more you see.]
[Skill cost: Will]
"What a powerful skill and of course I knew it will have a cost." Nil said to himself not bothering to check out the skill yet as he have some business hr still has to do for now.
"But Genes why does this feel like you're trying to bribe me? You are not bribing me are you? 'cause this doesn't feel like a reward I am supposed to get for just discovering a dungeon." Nil said, tauntingly.
He knew perfectly well that the system is actually giving him the reward as to make up for what it did before when it tricked Nil.
Ignoring the silence the game AI gave him he look at his sorounding, and as expected he is in the middle of a cave which ceiling is around 5 meter tall and almost two meter wide just fell short of a hundred or so meter.
"Not too wide, eh." Nil said while crouching down, looking at the little footprints on the ground.
Looking at the footprint, he quickly gather some information about the dungeon.
Footprints very small, not made by human.
There are two feet print at the front and two at the back and from the way they are positioned the entity seemed to be a quadrupedal being.
The footprints are faint which mean the entity who made the prints walked past here not too long ago.
Considering the distance between the front feet and the back feet the entity is supposed to be able to cover more than what distance it is covering which could suggest that the entity is walking fatigued or tired.
Nil is not too certain about that last point though, and because the footsteps is faint some might think the entity actually made the print long ago.
However Nil knew that the entity who made the print is a sand cat, he knew that because they are the ones that lives in this dungeon and they are known for being very stealthy.
They rarely make a footprint even when walking on a sandy floor, that is how Nil knew that the entity just pass not long ago.
5 minutes give or take.
"Well, let's see where the footsteps lears to then." Nil said as he headed after the footprint.
