Sean releases a long breath, and I watch the tension ease from his shoulders. "I need to speak with Dick. Maybe he can run some tests, check your energy levels. We have to make sure this isn't harming you somehow."
I give him a nod, though the idea of being examined by a healer makes my stomach twist with anxiety. "How do we keep this secret from the pack if I keep glowing like a beacon every time one of you gets hurt? We cannot let the hunters find out, and I refuse to have everyone staring at me like I might explode at any moment."
Karl's eyes find mine across the room. "Nobody will look at you that way. You are their Luna, and they will be just as amazed by your abilities as we are."
"Plus we promise to be extra careful not to injure ourselves in public," Philip says with a playful grin.
"I will ask Jackson to stop by after his patrol shift. He might have additional insight for us," Karl adds.
