One by one, they moved. Dark-colored motorcycles and cars sped along the streets of Naples, wet from the rain. The night wind carried the scent of rain and tension, as if nature itself held its breath, awaiting the fierce battle with the Demon Head clan.
Upon arriving near the old warehouse, Alessandro raised his hand, signaling to Luciana and her team.
Luciana returned the signal, then moved through the narrow alley, blending with their own shadows.
On the other side, the diversion team began creating a commotion. Suddenly, "Wiuuww…! Wiuuww…! Wiuuww…!" siren sounds roared loudly, echoing and breaking the silence of the night, bouncing off the concrete walls of Naples.
Not long after, "Bom!" a small explosion was heard shaking, making the window glass vibrate and dust fall from the warehouse roof.
"Dor! Dor! Dor!" Followed by a burst of warning shots echoing out to the quiet street.
The commotion successfully attracted the attention of the Demon Head guards, who looked panicked and ran out. Some aimed their weapons toward the source of the sound, while others were confused, searching for the point of attack.
"What the hell is this? Where is that siren sound coming from?" shouted one of the guards while aiming his weapon at the dark street.
"Damn it! Don't tell me the police have surrounded us!" another yelled, his face pale, illuminated by the flickering street light.
"There's no way the police would move this fast. This is a trap! Someone wants to mess with us!" exclaimed a man in a black leather jacket, his tone full of suspicion.
"Silence everyone! Find the source of that sound! Don't let anyone get inside this warehouse!" ordered a guard who seemed to be one of their leaders. His voice was loud, although trembling with panic.
"But if that really is the police, do we still have time to escape?" muttered one of the other guards, his hands shaking as he gripped his pistol.
"No one is allowed to run! We will hold our ground here until the boss orders us out. Prepare your weapons. If they enter, finish them. Leave no one behind!" roared their leader while cocking his rifle.
Suddenly, the sound of running footsteps was heard, followed by shouting that echoed back and forth, coinciding with the clatter of metal weapons. The chaos grew more tense, filling the night with fear and anger.
"Shoot them!" roared one of the guards.
Dor! Dor! Dor! A barrage of bullets cut through the air.
With a fast movement, Luciana moved forward, her body rolling to the side. Srett! she snatched a rusted iron pipe near a pile of wood, then, Bugg! She slammed it onto a man's hand.
Prakk! The pistol was thrown, the man screamed while clutching his wrist.
Alessandro did not remain silent. With a flash-like movement, he kicked the wooden table in front of him. Brakk! The table flipped over and became his shield.
Dor! Dor! Bullets struck the wooden surface. Tak! Tak! Shrapnel flew everywhere.
A man tried to approach while aiming his weapon. With a very fast movement Whuusshh! Alessandro spun around, Bughh! His fist struck the man's jaw.
The man was thrown far backward and, Brakk! He fell, crashing into an iron rack.
Then Luciana darted again, her movement like a shadow. Dughh! She kicked one of the bulky men in the chest.
The man fell sprawled on the floor, the weapon he was holding slipped from his hand. Luciana quickly snatched the pistol.
Klikk! lightning fast, she pulled the trigger and aimed it at several Demon Head subordinates.
Dor! One shot struck the shoulder of a man who was about to attack her from the side.
"Close the entrance! Don't let them leave alive!" shouted the leader inside the warehouse.
Several men tried to surround her from the right and left. Luciana spun, Bugh! She struck a man's face with the pistol grip. Blood spurted from her opponent's nose.
Then Alessandro bent the arm of a man who tried to shoot him at close range. "Krakk!" the sound of a cracking bone was heard.
"Arghh!" the man screamed in pain, then Alessandro snatched his weapon and slammed the pistol butt into his temple. The man collapsed, unconscious.
Peluru terus berdesingan. Suara tembakan otomatis memecah udara, membuat kaca-kaca kecil di gudang bergetar.
Luciana ducked, then jumped onto a wooden table. She spun, Bugh! her kick struck two men at once. Both fell, colliding with each other.
"Keep going! Don't give them room to move!" shouted one of the guards in a panic-stricken tone.
However, the attacks were being countered. Alessandro jumped toward the wall, using a wooden crate as a foothold, then flew, kicking the head of the man below him hard. Bugh! The man was knocked out.
Luciana moved quickly. Dor! Dor! The pistol in her hand released two consecutive shots. Two guards collapsed, bullets piercing their shoulders and legs. The remaining Demon Head subordinates became frantic, shouting while firing their weapons blindly.
"Keep your distance! These are not people we can underestimate!" yelled one of the men with a trembling voice.
Alessandro smirked, his eyes cold. He cocked the stolen pistol, calmly stepping forward while firing his weapon. Three shots sped accurately, hitting the foreheads of three men. In an instant, they died and fell prone.
Luciana ducked and slid agilely. Her leg movements were very fast, striking the knees, stomachs, and chests of three men simultaneously. Immediately, all three fell.
Now, the warehouse floor was filled with bodies lying scattered, some wincing in pain, some unconscious, and many dead with bullet holes in their foreheads and chests. The smell of gunpowder and blood mixed in the air.
Alessandro and Luciana stood amidst the chaos, their chests rising and falling, their gazes sharp and piercing.
"Does anyone else want to try to fight? Where is your leader, huh?" Alessandro asked. His voice sounded low, full of threat.
The Demon Head subordinates only remained silent, not one dared to speak. They only looked at each other with pale faces. Slowly, they stepped back.
Amidst their helplessness, the figure of the Demon Head leader suddenly appeared. "Are you looking for me?" asked the muscular man.
His eyes looked at Alessandro's face, his gaze flashing, revealing cruelty. Every step seemed threatening.
Alessandro and Luciana smirked. "Finally you show up, you cowardly bastard!"
The Demon Head leader laughed as if mocking Alessandro.
"You're quite great, making my men collapse like flies," he said with an arrogant tone. His eyes looked at Alessandro and Luciana alternately.
Alessandro and Luciana smirked, "You've already lost and you're still arrogant!" Luciana said.
"Lost? The war is not over yet. And I never kneel to anyone," replied the Demon Head leader with a sneer.
Alessandro stepped forward, his blue eyes glowing under the dim light. "It's not over yet, because you haven't died by my hand, you bastard!"
The Demon Head leader only hissed; unnoticed by Alessandro and Luciana, he grabbed a large iron bar lying next to a stack of wooden crates. With one hard swing, the iron bar struck the wall.
The whooshing of the wind from the iron bar was felt by Luciana. "Damn it!" She jumped, dodging sideways.
Meanwhile, Alessandro fired his weapon. Three bullets sped, two of them missed, and one bullet grazed the arm of the Demon Head leader.
"Aargh!" the Demon Head leader roared; he became even more furious and charged at Alessandro with the iron bar in his hand. His movement was very fast and wild.
Alessandro lifted a wooden chair to block the impact of the iron.
Brakk! The chair instantly shattered from the impact of the iron bar. Alessandro stepped back a few steps, with a quick movement he spun while kicking.
Dughh! His right foot strongly struck the Demon Head leader's stomach, causing the man's large body to stumble back a few steps.
He let out a cold chuckle, straightening his body, "Your kick isn't bad," he said.
A sneer was etched on his face. His breathing sounded heavy, and his eyes looked very calm. He lifted the iron bar he was holding.
"You think you can just kill me?" he said.
"Never mind killing you, we can even torture your body," Luciana said.
Simultaneously, Luciana and Alessandro charged and swung their fists. The iron bar held by the Demon Head leader swung fiercely, blindly trying to hit both their bodies.
But agilely, Alessandro and Luciana twisted their bodies, avoiding every strike of the iron bar while throwing their fists and kicks.
Until a moment later. Tak! The iron bar almost managed to hit Alessandro's hand, but the man quickly blocked it with the pistol he was holding.
Luciana took this opportunity to swoop down and, Srek! She sliced the Demon Head leader's ribs.
"Arrgghh!" a scream came from the muscular man. The iron bar fell from his hand. He briefly glanced at his ribs, which were streaming fresh blood.
"Bastard!" he screamed.
Blindly, the Demon Head leader swung his fists toward Luciana and Alessandro. However, his attacks were futile. His two opponents easily avoided them, then retaliated with quick punches that almost hit his face.
"Damn! I have to escape," he murmured inwardly, his breath rushed with anger.
Briefly, his eyes caught the automatic door on the left side of the warehouse room, not far from where they were fighting. Without further thought, he darted toward it. His movement was so fast that Luciana and Alessandro did not expect it.
Before reaching the door, his hand snatched a smoke grenade from the table. With a quick movement, he pulled the pin and threw it toward Alessandro and Luciana. Immediately, thick smoke burst out, swallowing the warehouse room.
"Alessandro! Smoke!" Luciana cried, covering her nose.
"Bastard!" Alessandro exclaimed.
"Hurry, chase him! Don't let him escape!"
