Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Bad Intro

Where… is this?

When I open my eyes, I'm already in an alley.

Did it just spawn me here?

"System, are you there?"

[ I'm here, Host. Do you want to go back? ]

"No, not yet. Anyway… can you tell me what timeline I'm in?" I asked.

[ Request denied. You have to figure that out yourself first. ]

"So that's how it is, huh? I'm on my own unless I choose to return…"

I sighed. "What about the language system? Surely you'll help me with that, right?"

[ Host, when you travel to other worlds, you automatically speak and understand the local language. ]

"Well, that's good. Otherwise, learning a new language from scratch would take forever."

I stepped out of the alley, determined to figure out where I was—and when.

But as soon as I emerged, I noticed people staring toward a section of the wall, their faces filled with fear and confusion.

"What are they looking at…?"

I followed their gaze—

And froze.

The Colossal Titan.

That massive, steaming figure… that's Bertholdt. Damn it—it's THIS moment!

I bolted immediately, sprinting away from the crowd. I needed to get as far away as possible before everything went to hell.

A deafening BOOM echoed behind me. The wall had been breached.

"Wait—the boat! The one Eren, Mikasa, and Armin boarded… I need to get there. Fast!"

Without looking back, I pushed myself to run even faster.

I'm practical. Even with my skill and strong body, I don't have ODM gear yet. Practicing against Titans without it would be suicide—they'd devour me instantly. And my I don't have a sword here. My only option: I need to join the Scout Regiment ahead of Eren and the others.

I was already ahead while running, hearing the terrified screams echo behind me. Titans are fast, but of course they are—they're massive compared to us.

It was only a matter of time before the Armored Titan appeared and smashed the inner gate, signaling the fall of Wall Rose. Thanks to my explosive strength and muscle power, I managed to reach the boat quickly. Soon, it was filled with survivors and began moving. I gasped for breath, my chest heaving from the sprint.

People around me were in despair, praying, crying. So many were going to die, and there was nothing I could do about it.

In the distance, I saw the inner gate—just as it was about to close, it was destroyed by Reiner… the Armored Titan. That meant all the people in Shiganshina District were doomed. The fall of Shiganshina had begun, and with it, Wall Maria. Practically everything was over.

I took a deep breath and forced myself to focus on my plans. For now, I'd stay here a few years, biding my time.

Wait… am I on the same boat as them? I spotted Mikasa, Armin, and Eren. I almost laughed. Eren, declaring his resolve as always—laughable. The guy says he'll kill all the Titans, and yet he'll eventually become a Titan himself. What an idiot. Honestly, I can't stand him.

Mikasa, on the other hand… hmm, I like her. Should I try to bring her back under my wing? I made a mental note to consider it later.

For now… survival comes first.
