Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Kiana Academy Survival

Nagazora, inside Chiba Academy, a girl named Raiden Mei walked into the classroom. The previously noisy classroom instantly quieted down.

"The criminal's daughter still isn't planning to drop out, huh? Shamelessly staying here, aren't you just trying to seduce someone?" Someone mocked Mei. She lowered her head, her fists clenched.

She had clearly grown accustomed to it, but the taunts still felt incredibly piercing. Her classmates continued to maliciously slander Raiden Mei. The former young lady had fallen into the mud, and it seemed everyone wanted to step on her, even those she had once helped.

Mei's desk was covered in obscenities, calling her shameless, a criminal's daughter, asking why she didn't just die, and so on. Her chair had red ink poured on it, making it impossible to sit on.

"What's wrong? Sit down, why aren't you sitting? Or do you need us to help you, young lady?" A girl dressed like a hot girl looked at her manicured nails, scoffed, and said mockingly to the bowed-head Mei.

"Exactly! Sit down, why aren't you sitting?" A group of people surrounded Raiden Mei, some even directly laying hands on her, trying to force her onto the chair.

"Class has started, what are you doing!" The teacher walked in at this moment. She frowned at the messy students and tapped the blackboard forcefully with her pointer. The students who had just been pressuring Raiden Mei instantly sat properly.

This was certainly not the teacher helping Mei; it was simply because class had started. If the class remained messy and was discovered, she would have her salary docked.

The teacher looked at the standing Raiden Mei, her voice very impatient: "What are you standing for? Sit down! Quickly!"

"Teacher, my chair..." Raiden Mei wanted to explain, at least to let her get another chair, but she was impatiently interrupted by the female teacher.

"Shut up! What's wrong with the chair? Hurry up and sit down! Do you think you're still the high and mighty young lady you once were? Quickly! Otherwise, get out!"

The darkness within Raiden Mei's heart grew incessantly. She didn't understand why classmates who had once been so gentle and friendly would become like this overnight...

It could only be said that Raiden Ryoma had protected his daughter too well, completely unaware of the wickedness of human hearts.

"Kill them... kill them..." It seemed a voice kept enticing Mei. She looked up at the teacher, whose face was full of sarcasm and impatience, and then at the students, who were gloating and waiting for her to make a fool of herself. A purple glow began to light up in her eyes, little by little...

'Hehe~ I'll go find Mei after class and see if those people are still bullying her.' Kiana lay on her desk, not listening to the teacher, but looking at the blue sky and white clouds outside the window.

'Today is really a good day... This kind of weather is best for sleeping~' Kiana thought, then closed her eyes directly. Anyway, she couldn't understand what the teacher was saying, so she might as well sleep.

But Kiana had only just closed her eyes when the Honkai erupted. In that instant, millions of people in Nagazora, all males, turned to ash, while a small portion of females became zombies, and the rest also turned to ash. Kiana swallowed as she looked at the classroom, which had lost more than half its occupants in an instant, and the zombies within it.

"You give way!" With a flip, she directly jumped from the second floor. Without time to pause, Kiana scrambled up from the ground and started running.

There was no other reason; just as Kiana jumped down, several zombie ladies peeked out from the corner, each holding a scythe and looking at Kiana.

"Bad luck, bad luck, bad luck!" Kiana sprinted, using her agility to evade the zombies' pursuit, then grabbed a baseball bat she found and returned to the teaching building.

"Mei, I'm here to save you! You must be alright!" Kiana's body burst with infinite vitality as soon as she thought that her friend might be in mortal danger at any moment.

Don't ask why Kiana would think Mei was still alive; it was because she couldn't bear to imagine Mei's death.

"Get out of my way! Don't block the path!" Kiana swung the baseball bat, knocking down one zombie with each swing, breaking through obstacles and fighting her way to Mei's classroom.

"Great! Mei, you're okay, let's go!" Kiana breathed a sigh of relief looking at the girl standing in the center of the empty classroom, then quickly reached out to grab Mei's small hand.

Unfortunately, the moment Kiana approached, lightning erupted. Kiana was caught off guard and struck, falling to the ground, convulsing.

"Mei, Mei..." Kiana gritted her teeth, reaching out to touch Mei. Mei retreated a step, went to the window, didn't even look at Kiana, and jumped down directly.

"Mei!" Kiana's pupils widened sharply. The strength that burst from her body broke free of the paralysis. She darted to the window, but there was no one below.

Observing carefully, Kiana finally saw Mei's back, walking towards another teaching building. She didn't have time to look closely; she flipped over the window, intending to jump down, but at the last second, she saw the zombies below and cautiously pulled her feet back.

"Wait for me, Mei!" Kiana picked up the baseball bat. In her frantic worry, she subconsciously forgot about the lightning just now. Her mind was now only filled with concern for Mei.

An hour ago, in a secret base no one could find, was Cocolia's hiding place.

"Cocolia, the target data has met the requirements. Should we activate the plan?" An employee walked up to Cocolia, bowing slightly, awaiting her instructions.

"Yes, activate it. Inform Bronya to prepare for the retrieval of the Third Herrscher." Cocolia nodded. Her eyes burned as she looked at Raiden Mei on the screen. She had planned for so long precisely for Raiden Mei's Herrscher power.

For this, even sacrificing millions of people in Nagazora was worth it! This was her, Cocolia's, determination!

"Yes, Cocolia!" The employee walked to the control panel, looking at the button protected by glass on the panel, and clenched her hand into a fist.

"Honkai Energy Reactor, leak!" With a forceful smash, she broke the square glass covering the red button. The Honkai Energy Reactor deep beneath Nagazora released Honkai energy, turning a once prosperous city into a desolate wasteland.

And on the device used to monitor Raiden Mei, all data began to rise rapidly. Cocolia's eyes were fanatic; she knew this meant Raiden Mei had begun her Herrscher transformation.

"Inform Bronya to prepare for the capture of the Third Herrscher, and also... be careful. If there's an unexpected situation, protect yourself." Cocolia hesitated for a moment after giving the order, then, out of maternal love, added another sentence.

"Bronya received." A emotionless, childlike voice sounded from the communication. That was Bronya Zaychik's voice.

Meanwhile, at Chiba Academy, Kiana stumbled forward, constantly dodging zombie attacks while also keeping an eye on Raiden Mei's whereabouts.
