As I woke up, I saw unfamiliar surrounding but I quickly realized that this was my house and I remembered everything
I took a deep breath and looked out of the window and saw the Hokage rock, then it hit me once again, I was in the Naruto world
One where killing and bloodshed was as normal as farming and living, I silently made my resolve to get stronger so no one can what is precious to me
As I was done looking, I started doing my morning routine and cleaned up myself, ate breakfast and headed to the academy
I moved quickly not because I was late but rather I wanted the peace before everyone comes to study a bit
Although I say that the content was far too easy for me who was an adult in my previous life
While thinking, I already reached the academy and when entering my class, I saw few students like Rin, Kurenai, already there
I greeted them with a nod and went to my seat and opened my books and started studying them, after half an hour I skimmed through the curriculum and concluded that this at best middle school level. So the academy should be relatively a breeze to graduate from, even if the early graduation is more difficult than normal
That said I don't think the rest should be that hard except a few like hand seals and scouting, ambush, etc. But I don't think it would be that hard I, mean unlike children I have grown mindset so I should grasp it, I think.
As I pondering, all students came barring Obito who will always be late, Tanaka sensei entered and after greeting us he immediately started teaching, and as expected of the simp of ninja world he came late
After scolding him, sensei resumed teaching about the ninja code which I basically memorized already, not to brag but I was a genius in my past life but also very hard working so I easily something as basic as this
Once again after teaching it was break time I quickly studied the remaining parts of the books
And as I was studying I heard something interesting, "Hey Kakashi, I the great Obito challenge you, get ready to be defeated" Said Obito with a scowl on his face
I was wondering why he was so pissed off and then my eyes fell on Rin, 'ohhhh.... So he caught Rin glancing at Kakashi huh, well isn't this a fun situation' I inwardly grinned
"Haaa..... How annoying, fine come to the ground " Kakashi said and started moving towards the ground
5 minutes later
As expected, Obito was thoroughly beaten up and was left on the ground
I could hear him make excuses like I wasn't using my full power or I let him win this time
I couldn't hold it together and chuckled a bit hearing it, to me it sounded like a child making excuses to his mother about failing an exam
Seeing this didn't help Obito much and the he lashed out on me, "Hey , what are you laughing at huh "
"I wasn't laughing" I lied through my teeth
Hearing this he got even more agitated which as expected caused him to challenge me
Beside him Rin was like, "please don't worry, Obito is just a bit frustrated, he--"
"No, you don't have to worry, I accept your challenge, Obito" I said with a wry smile
As soon as I said that he stormed off to the ground, when I reached there I could see his frustration and annoyance seething off him
As soon as we reached there both obito and me took our position and with a silent acknowledgement began the match
This time I took the initiative and threw a punch towards his heart which deflected, then I used the momentum of my body to throw a roundhouse kick to his side which sent him sliding
After regaining balance he launched himself at me and threw a punch which was feint and then jumped and tried to kick me in the torso
But what happened next was shocking as I grabbed his leg jumped above him and sent a sharp kick to his temples which knocked him off the ground and then I quickly put fist near his throat which ended the match
That final move sent ripple of shock and Kakashi himself raised an eyebrow as he saw me execute the same move he used to end our match
'With such a display, my identity as a genius is now cemented, all that is left is to ninjutsu talent but this enough for Hiruzen to protect me and have a chance to raise another 'minato'. '
"Thank you for the match" I said and started moving to the classroom
Obito, who was thoroughly beaten sat quietly in the classroom till the end of the day
As the day finished, once everyone started going home I saw Kakashi and asked, "Hey Kakashi, can we have matches twice a week? "
Immediately understanding my intentions he nodded as it was beneficial for him to have sparring partner as well
On the way, out I met Asuma, Kurenai, Shizune, and some other classmates Gin, Sora and Souma
Seeing that I came out of the academy, Asuma called out to me and said, "Hey Ryoma wanna come play with us, we will be meeting at the forest behind the academy in an hour"
Thinking this would be a great opportunity to build connection with future pillars of Konoha, I said "Sure, I will meet you there in an hour"
And saying so I went to my home and put away my books and left. After an hour, I met Asuma and the others, and we started to play some ninja games
I truly had fun that day as it was first time in a while that I just relaxed and played around otherwise I would usually be exercising or meditating and refining chakra
Thinking this I mentally made a note to take a day off once a week and just relax like this
As the sun started to set all of us dispersed, during this time we all got to know each other well
After I reached home, I took a bath just quietly for a moment and started studying
While many would think I am overexerting myself, I disagree as the clan children have already learnt most of these basic things
Which keeps me behind them and my pride doesn't allow me to fall behind mere children
And so I kept studying until it was dark outside, and after finishing up for the day
I made a simple meal for myself and after eating and cleaning up, I went to sleep
