Chapter 1 - Spin of Fate: The Disco Pang Pang

"Come on, Ha-rin! You promised!"

Ji-eun was already halfway up the stairs to the ride, waving two tickets like a victory flag. Behind her, the lights of the amusement park flickered against the dark sky, neon pink, electric blue, gold. Ha-rin squinted at them, exhausted already.

"I only said I'd consider it," she muttered, clutching her phone. Her office chat still blinked with unread messages.

"You work twelve hours a day, eat lunch at your desk, and the last time you had fun was… When? Back in highschool?"

Ha-rin sighed. "I don't have time for pointless distraction."

"If you have no time to live," Ji-eun shot back, "you're just dying slowly."

Before Ha-rin could protest, Ji-eun grabbed her hand and dragged her forward. The ride operator, a man with a headset and a mischievous grin ushered them inside the circular platform.

"Welcome to the Disco Pang Pang!" he called, his voice booming over the speakers. "Hold tight, no regrets!"

Ha-rin sat down stiffly, gripping the cold metal bar behind her. She didn't even need to look around, she could already hear the giggles and laughter surrounding her.

She rolled her eyes, annoyed.

It would be fine. Just a few minutes. Then she could go home, answer her emails, and pretend she had tried to have fun. And Ji-eun would be happy she had finally gone out with her.

The Disco Pang Pang spun harder than Ha-rin expected. The world blurred into light and laughter, and her grip on the metal bar slipped.

Before she could even scream, she was weightless, then landed with a thud.

Right against someone unexpectedly solid.

"Are you okay?" The voice was low.

When she looked up, she saw a well-built man. Messy black hair, sharp eyes, and a smile that made her pulse stutter.

How hadn't she noticed him before?

"I, I'm sorry!" she stammered, pulling herself back toward her seat beside Ji-eun. Determined not to move again, she tensed her whole body, which only made things worse. The ride tilted again, tossing her up and down, her limbs flung out helplessly as she tried to grab onto something... anything… and then finally her hands instinctively clutching his thigh for balance before she even realized it.

Oh my… did I just touch his...

The operator called out to them, asking how old they were.

"Twenty-five," Ha-rin said, showing the number with her fingers.

"Twenty-six," the man added beside her.

She blinked in surprise. She hand't expected anyone around her age on a ride like this.

"Why don't you say hi to each other?" the operator teased over the microphone.

They both bowed politely.Ha-rin's cheeks still burned from what had just happened.

The man laughed quietly, his eyes glinting with amusement, clearly knowing why she was so flustered.

Ha-rin turned desperately toward Ji-eun. "Please, switch seats with me."

Ji-eun only smirked. "No way."

She decided to turn her back to the stranger and face her friend instead.

This way, there'd be no chance of finding herself in such an embarrassing situation again.

However, the next sudden jolt threw her into the worst possible position... straight into that man's lap, her butt pressing firmly against him.

Ha-rin's face burned scarlet. She wanted to disappear.

It was as if the operator was deliberately trying to bring them together.

She tried to steady herself by moving to the middle of the platform, away from the seats.

It was a mistake. Without anything to hold onto, she stumbled, panic flashing across her face as the ride tilted again.

His hand reached out, strong and sure, catching her before she could fall.

"Careful," he said, pulling her closer to keep her from slipping again.

Ha-rin found herself kneeling in front of him, breathless and disheveled, each jolt pushing her closer, her hands landing far too high on his thighs as she gripped them for balance while trying to stand from the awkward position.

Before she could steady herself, the ride lurched again and she fell forward, ending up sitting over him, her thighs closing around his torso as she braced herself against the bar behind him.

Her arms came around his head, and she could feel his breath against her neck, the faint warmth of him mixing with his intoxicating scent.

"Maybe stay here," he murmured, his voice barely audible under the music. "Seems safer."

She wanted to object, but she simply couldn't resist him anymore.

Her heart pounded so loudly she was sure he could feel it.

He wrapped an arm around her, steadying her as the platform jolted again. One hand gripping the rail, the other holding her close. She could feel the strength in his grip, not forceful, just steady, protective.

This position, with the rhythmic jolts making her move up and down, felt exactly as if she were riding him.

She could hear the MC teasing them, but she couldn't make out his words. The world around them faded away.

There was no strength left in her to pull away.

A soft gasp escaped her as she felt something hard pressing beneath her. As the ride jolted and twisted, she couldn't help but grind against him.

Why did I have to wear a skirt today of all days?

And she…

She was far too sexually unsatisfied to resist.

She hadn't been this close to a man for ages…

And he…

He was exactly her type… her ultimate weakness, with that overwhelming charisma and those dangerous hands that seemed to know exactly how to touch her.

It would be impossible to come from just this… wouldn't it? Impossible.

But every inch of her body was far too sensitive.

Every touch, every breath, every scent making her lose herself in this devouring sensation. She bit her lip, struggling to hold back a sound as the climax overtook her.

She might have hidden it from the others… but not from him. Not from his ears. Not from his eyes.

 So fucking awkward!

She collapsed against him, breathless, and just like that, the world went dark.

When she opened her eyes, Ji-eun was leaning over her, eyes wide with panic.

"Oh my god… are you okay? Can you hear me? I'm sooo sorry!" Ji-eun exclaimed, her hands fluttering nervously.

Ha-rin blinked, still flushed, trying to get her bearings. "Y-yeah… I think so…"

"I shouldn't have made you go on that ride… it was… kind of intense, wasn't it?" Ji-eun added.

Ha-rin's cheeks burned. "Y-yeah… intense is one way to put it…" she murmured. "But… how am I even here?"

"You… kinda fainted," Ji-eun explained. "It was that man who carried you here in his arms. To be totally honest, I was a little jealous myself… he was such a gentleman, taking care of you. He even got you a drink."

Ha-rin froze, panic rising in her chest. Only then did she realize she had been sipping the drink in front of her without thinking.

"What? Did he say anything… weird?" she blurted out before she could stop herself.

Ji-eun laughed softly. "W-what do you mean, weird?"

"I mean… didn't I… cause him any… inconvenience?" Ha-rin couldn't bring herself to explain exactly what had happened.

Did it really happen? Did he notice… everything?

"He wasn't troubled at all. In fact… he seemed genuinely concerned. But that's it," Ji-eun reassured her.

Maybe it was all in her imagination. Maybe it didn't even happen.

"How about I give you a ride home as compensation?" Ji-eun asked with an apologetic smile.

"That would be nice," Ha-rin smiled.

She took a careful sip of her drink and then spotted a small note on her napkin: "In case you don't want to hold back your voice next time, meet me at X location in an hour."

Gentleman, huh? she thought, cheeks burning with embarrassment. At the same time, an undeniable, unstoppable desire flared up inside her.

"Actually… you know what? Never mind. I'll manage," she said, trying to calm the fluttering in her chest.
