Hu Liena looked at her teacher and spoke with a very serious face. She asked if her teacher was not feeling very confident today. She told her teacher that even if she had to wash someone's feet, it would not hurt her body or make her lose any skin. However, if her teacher won the bet, she would gain one level of spirit power for free. She explained that while Su Yan might make a small profit from the bet, her teacher would never truly lose anything important.
Bibi Dong hesitated for a moment while she thought about these words. After listening to Hu Liena, she started to think that the idea actually made a lot of sense. As the powerful Pope of the Spirit Hall, she was a very mature woman who understood how the world worked. She knew the rule that a person could make a lot of money if they were willing to put aside their pride and face for a moment. To her, gambling one level of spirit power or a powerful Heaven-Defying System spirit ring just for the sake of pride was a good deal. She decided it was worth the risk to try and turn a small opportunity into a huge win.
Bibi Dong announced in the group chat that she was taking the bet. Liu Erlong replied that there was now a very good show to watch. Ah Yin added that she felt like Bibi Dong was definitely going to lose this time. Zhu Zhuqing, known as Cat in the Shadows, told Ah Yin to stop saying she felt like it because it was obvious. She said she could not understand where Bibi Dong got her confidence from. She asked if anyone really thought a Transmigrator would gamble on something he was not completely sure about winning.
Xiao Wu, using the name Loves Eating Carrots, joked that she thought the old woman just really wanted to wash Su Yan's feet. Ning Rongrong, the Seven Treasures Little Princess, said it was a pity they did not win over Hu Liena because they lost a good maid who could have washed their feet. Dugu Yan, using the name Yanzi is not a Swallow, said it did not matter because if it happened once, it would happen again. She was sure Hu Liena would fall for Su Yan's charms sooner or later.
Bibi Dong thought for a long time and then started to add more rules to the bet. She told Su Yan that he said he would fly over, so he must fly by himself. She said if someone else carried him, it would not count. She also said riding a horse or a Spirit Beast would not count as flying. He had to fly using his own power and meet the Little Princess by dinner time. She also added that Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling, who were with him, must arrive at the same time. He was not allowed to leave them behind to move faster.
Ning Rongrong complained that this was not fair. She asked what would happen if Su Yan could not find them. She thought it should be enough if he just arrived by dinner time. Bibi Dong replied that no one knew where he would land, so meeting the group was the only thing that counted. She insisted that these were her final conditions. Ye Lingling, listed as Group Member Number Nine, said that looking at it this way, Bibi Dong actually had a chance to win.
Liu Erlong noted that the conditions the old woman added were very harsh. She pointed out that Su Yan was only a Spirit Emperor with six spirit rings, so his spirit power probably could not support him flying for such a long time. Qian Renxue, using the name I Am an Orphan, told Su Yan that if it was too hard, he should not gamble with her. She did not want him to give away one level of spirit power. Bibi Dong told the orphan to shut up. She challenged Su Yan to show his pride as a Transmigrator and let her see if he was truly capable.
Su Yan replied that he was so capable it would scare her. He told everyone he was going to find a place to eat first and then they would take off. Inside the carriage, Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling were very surprised. They asked if they were really going to eat at a time like this. They told Su Yan they needed to hurry because they were worried he would lose to Bibi Dong. Su Yan smiled and told the two girls not to worry. He explained that his plan was always to rest in the carriage in the morning and fly directly in the afternoon. He said this gamble would have no surprises.
Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling finally understood what he meant. They realized that Su Yan had already planned the whole trip before the bet even started. Bibi Dong was walking right into a trap he had set. It seemed impossible for him to lose the bet now.
Back at the Spirit Hall, Hu Liena felt very conflicted. She told her teacher it seemed like she might actually win this time. Bibi Dong looked at her with a bit of anger and called her a little ungrateful wolf.
She asked why Hu Liena did not seem happy that her teacher might win. She reminded her that she had already calmed down and was not acting crazy anymore. She asked if the girl was still worried she would lose her mind after getting more spirit power. Hu Liena lowered her head and did not say anything else.
Su Yan sent a picture of a table full of delicious food to the chat. He asked Bibi Dong if she had eaten yet. He told her to hurry up and eat now because he did not think she would be able to eat anything later out of shock. Bibi Dong sent back a picture of her own luxurious meal. She said she was eating and looked forward to seeing his performance this afternoon.
On the other side of the forest, the Shrek group was taking a break. Oscar and Zhao Wuji ate sausages to keep their energy up. Tang San, Dai Mubai, and Ma Hongjun had to stay hungry because they did not have much food. However, Zhu Zhuqing, Ning Rongrong, and Xiao Wu were eating nice pastries. Xiao Wu was very happy to find that Zhu Zhuqing had brought her favorite carrots. She told Zhu Zhuqing she was very kind. Ning Rongrong agreed and said Zhu Zhuqing was brilliant for knowing that Zhao Wuji would not give them time to stop for a real meal.
Zhu Zhuqing calmly explained that she did not plan it herself. She said Su Yan had arranged all the food for them beforehand. She told the girls they needed to eat quickly so they could speed up their journey. She did not want them to hold Su Yan back during the afternoon. The other two girls nodded and ate as fast as they could.
At the Crown Prince's Mansion, Qian Renxue sat at her table. She was thinking about the time she spent with Su Yan that morning. She wanted to talk to him, so she finally sent him a private message. She asked if he was still eating and if he was really confident he could win against her mother, Bibi Dong. Su Yan told her the bet was not a big deal and that he always planned to fly this afternoon.
She asked him how he would fly if he had to bring Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling with him. She had already figured out who the mystery group member was. Su Yan asked her if she thought he could turn into a small bird but not a large one. Qian Renxue was very confused by his answer.
Soon after, Bibi Dong started teasing him in the group chat again. She said she was finished with her meal and told Su Yan to get moving.
She said she did not want to see him lose too badly. Su Yan saw the message but did not reply. Instead, he took the two girls to a quiet place outside the city. They looked at him with curiosity. Su Yan held up his jade mirror to record a video and shouted a command at his little monkey.
In the next second, the little monkey transformed into a giant bird called a Golden-winged Great Peng that was dozens of meters wide. Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling were completely shocked.
They could not believe the monkey could turn into something so huge. They felt like Su Yan was cheating because his powers were so incredible. Su Yan told them to get on, and they flew up onto the back of the giant bird. The bird took off into the sky and moved as fast as lightning toward the horizon.
Su Yan posted a short video to the group chat. He told Bibi Dong that she owed him a foot massage now. He told her to go learn how to do it well, and if she did a good job, he might even become a regular customer.
Everyone in the group chat was confused. When they watched the video, they saw the little monkey had changed again. This monkey had defeated a Titled Douluo before, and now it could fly faster than anything they had ever seen. They wondered if this was still the same world they lived in.
Dugu Yan sent a message saying how much she loved Su Yan and called him her God. Ye Lingling said they were flying so high and fast that it was actually a bit cold. Qian Renxue said she did not even know what to say anymore.
Xiao Wu cried happy tears wondering how many more secrets the monkey had. Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing both agreed that Su Yan was like a God to them. They were all stunned by what they saw. To them, what Su Yan did was even more amazing than the power of a God.
