In the adjacent room, the air was thick with a sense of quiet anticipation. Ning Rongrong sat on the edge of her bed, her face showing a mix of excitement and nervousness. She kept looking at her jade mirror, wondering if her friend would really agree to her request. Would Zhuqing actually let her come over at this time of night?

In the chat, the message finally appeared from the user known as Cat in the Shadows. It was short and to the point, telling Ning Rongrong to come over. Ning Rongrong, the Nine Treasures Little Princess, responded with a surprised exclamation of joy. She could hardly believe her luck and felt a rush of happiness.

Ning Rongrong instantly jumped up from her seat, feeling incredibly happy. She reached over and playfully patted Xiao Wu's butt to wake her up. She shouted for Xiao Wu to get up and close the door properly before going back to sleep. Ning Rongrong excitedly told her friend that she was going to sleep with Su Yan Gege. Then, realizing how that sounded, she quickly corrected herself and said she was just going to find him.

Xiao Wu could only look on with a confused expression, her mind filled with question marks. She didn't have time to react before Ning Rongrong finished speaking, threw on her clothes, and ran out of the room. The young girl sprinted to the next room and began knocking on the door with energy.

She called out for Su Yan Gege, saying she had arrived. Then she caught herself and said she was there to find Zhuqing. Then she changed her mind again, saying she was there for Su Yan, before finally settling on saying she was there to find Zhuqing. Her mind was a mess of excitement and nerves.

When the door opened, Ning Rongrong looked at her friend and asked if her Brother-in-law was home. Zhu Zhuqing didn't say much; she simply got up and opened the door to let Ning Rongrong inside. Once the girl was in, Zhu Zhuqing closed the door properly to ensure their privacy.

Ning Rongrong felt incredibly nervous as she stepped into the room. She shyly walked toward the bed, her voice small as she called out for Su Yan Gege. She looked around the room, but her eyes widened when she realized the bed was empty. She asked where her Su Yan Gege had gone.

Zhu Zhuqing couldn't help but let out a small laugh at the sight of her friend's confusion. She told Ning Rongrong that Su Yan had gone to the Little Monkey's room to focus on his cultivation for the night.

The news made Ning Rongrong instantly slump down in disappointment. She looked at Zhu Zhuqing with a resentful expression, telling her friend that she really wanted to bite her for letting him leave. Zhu Zhuqing was startled by the comment and felt a slight blush creep onto her face. She replied that biting her might not be a good idea because she was still covered in Su Yan's saliva from earlier.

Ning Rongrong suddenly frowned as she processed that information. A strange and mischievous smile appeared on her face. Her gaze became fixed on Zhu Zhuqing's chest, specifically on her two powerful Spirits. She joked that by biting her now, she would be killing two birds with one stone. Zhu Zhuqing could only stare back, completely confused by what her friend meant.

While this was happening, the group chat remained very quiet. Even though the chat had recently upgraded and given out rewards, most of the members had followed Ning Rongrong's lead. They had put their jade mirrors aside and gone to sleep to rest for the next day.

However, Ah Yin was still awake and looking at the screen. She wondered how the group chat had suddenly upgraded and what the reward could be. She noticed the number 461 and felt a surge of hope. She sent a message telling the other sisters to wake up quickly. She felt like she was finally saved and that this reward would change everything for her.

In a different time, in the world of Douluo World 2, Shrek Academy was quiet. Ma Xiaotao watched the jade mirror for a long time. Her heart could not calm down as she read the messages. She wondered if all of this was actually real. She tried to tell herself it wasn't possible and wondered if it was a new type of spirit tool made by the Sun Moon Empire to trick them.

But the more she thought about it, the more confused she became. If the Sun Moon Empire could manufacture such advanced spirit tools, were the people speaking in the chat also fake? Was someone simply impersonating famous figures from history? She shook her head, feeling that something wasn't right.

Ma Xiaotao scratched her head in frustration. She quickly got dressed and decided she needed to talk to someone she trusted. She flew through the air towards the residence of her teacher, Yan Shaoshe. When she arrived, she called out that something bad had happened.

Yan Shaoshe heard her voice from outside. He got dressed and walked out to meet her, looking somewhat groggy from being woken up. The old man asked her why she was there so late and if the problem could wait until the morning. Ma Xiaotao shook her head, her face looking very serious. She told her teacher that she had discovered a spirit tool and that inside it there was something incredible.

Suddenly, Ma Xiaotao felt a sharp flash of lightning strike her brain. Her whole body instantly stiffened as the electricity surged through her. Her eyes rolled back in her head, and she fell to the ground, lying flat on her back. It was as if her body had simply shut down from the shock.

Yan Shaoshe was shocked by the sight. He thought to himself that youth is good since you can just fall asleep anywhere, but he quickly realized something was wrong. He rushed forward to help her up, his expression full of worry. He asked her what had happened to her.

After a few moments, Ma Xiaotao recovered. she took out the jade mirror and held it in her hand. She tried to show it to him and explain what it was, but as soon as she started to speak, she was zapped again. She rolled her eyes once more, unable to utter a single word about the secret of the chat.

This time, Yan Shaoshe found himself in trouble as well. Because he was holding onto Ma Xiaotao, a trace of the lightning passed into his own body. Instantly, a wave of fear that felt like it could shatter his divine soul struck him. The terror was so great that he instinctively pulled his hand back, dropping Ma Xiaotao back onto the ground.

It wasn't that Yan Shaoshe was weak. Even as a Titled Douluo, he found the energy strange. The lightning was meant as a warning to the group members, but for someone like him, it felt like a destructive blow. He knew that if he had been hit directly, it would have been enough to turn him into ashes instantly. Even a tiny trace of it was more than he could bear.

He looked down at his student and called her name, his voice trembling. Ma Xiaotao lay on the ground, her face full of confusion. She told her teacher that the tool seemed to be real and that it wasn't a conspiracy by the Sun Moon Empire after all.

Yan Shaoshe used his spirit power to inspect her and then looked at the jade mirror in her hand. Even though he was a powerful Titled Douluo, he found nothing unusual about the object. The terrifying lightning from just a moment ago had disappeared as quickly as it had arrived.

However, the fear remained deep in his body and soul. He felt an unprecedented dread that told him this was not an illusion. Ma Xiaotao sat up and quickly shook her head. She told her teacher that nothing was wrong and that she was going back to her room. She said she needed to think about things before she could explain them.

Yan Shaoshe looked worried and asked about the lightning. He wondered if her evil fire was somehow generating electricity. He felt very confused by the whole situation. Ma Xiaotao just shook her head again. She realized now that the lightning was a warning from the jade mirror. Even if she wasn't holding it, the warning came from her heart. It was a punishment for trying to expose the secret.

She realized the secret of the jade mirror could not be shared with anyone. If she tried to speak about it, she would be electrocuted until she was nothing but a dry stick. She told her teacher she would explain another day. Yan Shaoshe had a pained expression, noting that her evil fire problem wasn't solved and now her body had this new issue.

Ma Xiaotao was frustrated by his reaction, but she knew she couldn't explain. She realized that if the mirror was real and the people were real, then the rewards must be real too. This meant she might finally find a way to fix her evil fire. She remembered that ten thousand years ago, her ancestor Ma Hongjun had the same Spirit. She could just ask him for help.

She felt happy and flew back to her room with the mirror. At the same time, Ma Hongjun was in no condition to help, as he had been beaten so badly that he had to sleep on his stomach.

A new notification appeared in the chat. A user named Sister's Temper is Very Hot from Douluo World 2 had joined. She sent the number 341 into the chat. Ah Yin was surprised to see a notification for someone joining and was shocked to see they were from the future world.

The newcomer recognized Ah Yin's name and asked if she was the mother of the Sea God Tang San. Ah Yin immediately told her to shut up. She explained that the Tang San she knew was not her son, but a scoundrel from another world who had taken someone else's place.

Ning Rongrong, the Nine Treasures Little Princess, joined in, asking what was happening. She was excited to meet someone from the future. She was happy to know that ten thousand years later, people knew that her Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda had evolved.

The newcomer asked if she was really the Ning Rongrong from the original Shrek Seven Devils. Ning Rongrong was so shocked that she pinched Zhu Zhuqing and told her to wake up. She said a tough person had arrived who already knew who she was.

Zhu Zhuqing checked the chat and felt her heart jump with worry. She knew Su Yan was busy with his cultivation and they couldn't let this new person say anything reckless that might cause trouble. She sent a message apologizing to the newcomer.

She said everyone was trying to sleep and muted the new user for three hours to keep things quiet. Ma Xiaotao, on the other end, could only stare at her mirror in shock.
