The last thing that Deacon had expected when he had come home was for Haley to attack him at the door. He had barely even gotten the door closed before she had been on him, ripping his clothes from his body and trying to devour him on the spot.
The move, however welcome, was very out of character for Haley. Deacon had briefly entertained the idea of holding her at arm's length and asking her what was up. But then she'd cupped him through his pants and all reasonable thought had found some place else to be as Deacon had let his body lead.
Now, the two of them were in the shower together and Haley was standing in front of him. She was running her hands over him as she helped him to get clean. Every once in a while she paused to smile at him, the expression was bright. But there was something about the look in her eyes that made Deacon uneasy.
