Like any other day of the week, morning found Haley in her apartment turned studio.
It should have been like any other day.
But, on that particular day, things were very different. There was no wedding band on her hand, and there would never be a wedding band again. She had given her ring to deacon, because the two of them were getting at divorce.
Just six months before, Haley had been celebrating at the thought of such a thing happening between her and Roth. But now that the divorce was very real, Haley felt like curling up on the floor and crying. Staring at her various projects, her eyes then moving to the luggage that she'd walked in with.
