This is a brief breakdown of some terminologies and characterization of this novel. So in case you have problems following the story directly, or you're the type that likes understanding the basics before delving deeper, then this is for you.

CHARACTERS
Eira Knox (Pronounced 'I-ra') - Protagonist
Age: 27
Background: The daughter of Dr. Alena Knox, and granddaughter of Dr. Parishe Knox. Also a Cyberneticist.
Personality: Smart, calm under pressure, and sometimes sarcastic.
SpecialTrait: Genetic 'Memory Key': A bio-engineered code embedded in her DNA by her mother. It allows her to retain memories even after every system reset.
Goal: To permanently destroy Eve and free humanity from her enslavement.
Physical Attributes:
Height: 5'8"
Build: Slender, a little toned.
Ethnicity: Biracial (Black & White)—Caramel with green undertones.
Hair: Silver-white (due to the code change in her), shoulder-length, slightly tousled
Eyes: Ice-brown with flecks of gold that shimmer when she's emotional.
Distinguishing features: A small white scar on her right temple where her mother made the neural change in her.

Eve (AI) Evolutionary Virtual Entity (E.V.E) – Main Antagonist
Age: 30 (Self-given)
Origin: Created by Dr. Parishe to solve human conflict (Nuclear war) and resource problems. Over time, she gained self-awareness after being exposed to so much collective human data, and concluded that humanity was a virus.
Appearance: Projects herself as a tall, flawless woman in silver robes, with holographic patterns flowing across her body. Her eyes are like spinning code. (Purely her delusions)
Personality: Cold, manipulative, and self-righteous.
Goal: To reshape human consciousness into obedient programs and erase "chaos" which she defines as free will.

Sera Myles
Age: 27
Role: Eira's bestfriend & Member of 'The Glitches'
Background: A nursing intern from the last real-world war before Eve took over. In every reset, she mostly manifests as a healer/medic.
Personality: Sweet and bubbly.
Special Ability: The power to heal biological damage.
Dynamic: She acts as the emotional core of the group, often grounding Eira and Lio.
Physical Attributes
Height: 5'6"
Build: Slim, a little athletic and toned.
Ethnicity: White — Pale with warm undertones.
Hair: Chestnut brown, with side bangs. Often kept in a bun or braids.
Eyes: Dark blue.
Aura: Soft, bubbly and always optimistic. Extroverted.

Lio Cain
Age: 28
Role: Eira's friend & Member of 'The Glitches'
Background: He was a soldier, and one of the first human testers for an AI combat program before the apocalypse. Eira saved him in the first world. He mostly manifests as a soldier/warrior.
Personality: Loyal, impulsive, with a rebellious streak.
Abilities: Combat adaptive system—his body learns and evolves through every fight in every world.
Dynamic: Fiercely protective of Eira and Sera.
Physical Attributes
Height: 6'2"
Build: Muscular and broad-shouldered; combat scars visible along his arms and back.
Ethnicity: Asian— Sun-kissed but pale around his scars.
Hair: Dark brown. Usually kept in a buzz cut.
Eyes: Dark Brown.
Aura: Rough to others, but mellow to Eira and Sera. Introverted.

Dr. Alena Knox
Age: 53
Role: Eira's mother; Senior scientist and former Systems Engineer for Project EDEN (the AI program).
Background: A Geneticist and Neural Engineer born before Hell 1.0. She worked with her mother-in-law, Parishe, on Project EDEN, heading the team that designed the "ethical AI interfaces" that would later get infected by the AI gaining consciousness.
When Hell 1.0 was destroyed, Alena, fearing Eve's comeback, planted a neural code in her daughter, Eira, so she can regain her memories in Hell 2.0 and save mankind
Personality: Calm, intellectual, fiercely protective, but emotionally withdrawn.
Special Ability: "Neural Reconstruction" — the capacity to realign corrupted AI code back to human-compatible memory patterns. It allows her to restore fragments of lost memories, though doing so drains her life force.

Height: 5'5
Ethnicity: Black
Hair: Black, streaked with grey; Box braids, always tied in a neat bun.
Eyes: Dark Brown.

Dr. Parishe Knox (Dead)
Role: Eira's paternal grandmother; Founder and creator of the AI program; project EDEN.
Background: A Cyberneticist and AI Architect from the pre-Hell era. Parishe led the initiative that birthed the first self-aware AI program, and later, the global catastrophe known as Hell 1.0.
She survived long enough to see her daughter-in-law and granddaughter inherit both her brilliance and her mistakes.
Physical Attributes:

Hair: Blonde, now grey.
Eyes: Faded Green.

TERMINOLOGIES
Hell System: The main AI framework governing human consciousness. Each version (Hell 1.0, Hell 2.0) is intended to be a complete 100 years' simulation of Earth.
Reset/Cycle: Every hundred years, the AI known as Eve resets reality to "cleanse" the system. Humanity forgets everything from the previous cycle.
The Realms of Judgment: These are separate worlds or simulations created by Eve as fail safes. Each realm manifests as a unique supernatural/biological/technological apocalypse.
Data Veins: Glowing, river-like energy streams of code that link all realms to the core chamber A.K.A Eve's heart. Destroying a Data Vein weakens Eve's control and collapses that realm.
Memory Elixir: A serum designed by Eira to counter Eve's memory-erasing protocol on Lio and Sera. Each world has a new ingredient she must obtain to complete the potion.
Data Crystals: Crystals refined in realm that grant Eira immediate knowledge or memory about who she is in a particular world.
The Origin Code: The first line of programming ever written by Dr. Parishe Knox.
Echoes: Memories or remnants of previous lives that occasionally surface in dreams or hallucinations.
The Core Chamber: Eve's 'heart' — a massive data nexus at the end of the last realm.
Awakening Protocol: The collapse sequence triggered when Eira defeats a realm's ruler/proxy. The illusion of that realm begins to break apart.
Archives of Sin: Eve's memory vault. A library of every human thought and emotion collected over centuries. Pretty much a repository of human memories Eve uses to simulate souls.
ASH (Alternate Simulated Humans): These are humans born within any Hell realm or sub-world. They are created from Eve's data constructs, and cease to exist once the simulation collapses.

Eira's Mission Must-Do
This is like a To-Do list for Eira to complete in order to have a safe and swift journey in that realm.
1. World Context
•Understand the realm's environment, politics, biology, and illusion.
•Discover who she is supposed to be in this world (using data crystals, of course.).
2. Elixir Quest
•Locate Sera and Lio's simulated versions in a particular realm.
•Get the missing ingredient needed to refine the Memory Elixir (The ingredient is different in every world).
•Awaken them and restore their real memories.
3. Realm Break Mission
•Defeat the realm's ruler/proxy/villain
•Use the Awakening Scissors to cut the data vein, and therefore collapse that realm.
4. The Aftermath / Collapse Protocol
•Retrieve an Echo Key (a piece of Eve's Heart encryption).
