Chapter 3 - 3

Turning back, he met those crimson eyes.

"I said I forgot something, do you believe me?"

Bai An chuckled, looking at the stunningly beautiful woman in front of him, feeling a little uneasy.

"What do you think????"

Her crimson eyes narrowed into slits, excitement flashing in her eyes, Kazami Yuuka retorted word by word.

If she hadn't gone far, his Flower Field would probably have been plucked bald again by the other party.

She was certain that after her previous Demon Cannon, the other party had no life signs left.

Can he resurrect?

This is... good.

"I think You believe it!"

"Well, I have something else to do, I'm leaving now, let's chat another day."

Seeing the green light condensing again on her parasol, how could Bai An not know her attitude? He quickly packed up his things and prepared to run.

"No need for another day, just stay here and become flower fertilizer for me now!"

As soon as Bai An took a step forward, a cold voice sounded behind him. Immediately after, a chill rushed over him.

The next moment, his vision was covered by green light, everything went black, and he returned to the starting point.

Looking at the familiar terrain around him, the corners of his mouth couldn't help but twitch.

He was killed again.

After resurrecting this time, he did not go to the Flower Field to 'shear sheep' again.

Instead, he searched for sheep, cows, and the like in the forest to bake food and make tools.

Unfortunately, after searching in the forest for a whole half-day, let alone cow hair or sheep wool, he didn't even see a single strand of wool.

However, he did find some silver ore, as well as gold ore, crops, and some strange mushrooms.

The amount of gold ore was not much. But the amount of silver ore was quite large, more than enough to make a set of armor and tools.

Not far to the east of the forest, Bai An discovered a village.

It looked like a place where the native residents of this world lived. Most buildings were made of wood or stone bricks, all low-rise bungalows. A few houses even had yards. He figured there should be families raising sheep and cows nearby.

Having made up his mind, he decided to go and take a look at this village.

Although it was already night, there were still scattered people wandering on the streets. As Bai An walked, he occasionally heard people discussing him, as well as the sounds of children playing.

Due to the overall enhancement of his attributes, Bai An could hear very clearly. The content of the conversations was largely the same, all talking about how strange his clothes were, but also how good they looked.

Bai An wandered for a while and finally stopped in front of a sheep pen. There were quite a lot of sheep being raised inside, totaling dozens.

"Is there something You need?"

Just as Bai An was staring at the sheep, a middle-aged man walked out of the sheep pen. After seeing Bai An, he hesitated for a moment before stepping forward to inquire.

"Excuse me, are these sheep yours? Can I buy a few from You?"

"Of course You can. Are You buying them to eat or to raise? If it's the former, I suggest You buy the short-haired sheep from the left pen. Their meat is delicious, and the price is relatively fair."

The middle-aged man was stunned for a moment, then immediately nodded after reacting, and began introducing the types of sheep.

Bai An's appearance was very outstanding. The middle-aged man felt that Bai An was not human, as he had never seen a human look so good.

Non-humans were not uncommon in the Human Village, so the middle-aged man remained relatively calm towards him, an outsider.

After hearing the man's explanation, Bai An nodded lightly.

"Then please help me lead out three sheep at random."

Choosing which one didn't really matter, he just needed wool to make wool.

Upon hearing the instruction, the middle-aged man immediately turned around and led out three sheep with good wool from the pen.

"Can I pay with this?"

Bai An took the rope tied to the sheep and then took out a few gold grains the size of fingertips.

The gold grains were decomposed from gold ingots refined from gold ore.

Although he didn't have the currency of this world, gold seemed to be a hard currency in many worlds.

"Of course You can, please wait a moment."

Upon seeing the shimmering gold object in Bai An's hand, the middle-aged man was slightly stunned at first, then quickly replied.

He quickly ran back into the house and took out a few pieces of broken silver.

"Esteemed guest, this is Your change."

Bai An took the silver handed to him by the middle-aged man and examined it. It was half the size of a fist, indicating that gold's purchasing power in this world was quite strong.

He found a deserted place and used scissors to collect the wool from the sheep.

Then he lightly swung his sword at the sheep. After a few strikes, the three sheep turned into six pieces of mutton.

Bai An was quite satisfied with this setting.

No need to gut them, no bloody scenes.

He used the workbench to make a bed from wool and wooden planks, thus completing the purpose of this trip.

In MC, the respawn point refreshes at the last place You slept, so this way, he wouldn't have to run back to the Flower Field from the forest every time he resurrected.

On the way back, Bai An also found some watermelons.

But the taste wasn't as good as he imagined.

Unlike the extraordinarily delicious apples, the watermelons here were no different from ordinary ones. Perhaps it was because he hadn't interfered.

The weather was so hot now, he wanted to eat chilled watermelon.

After the house is built, he'll get some watermelon seedlings and try planting them himself.

Fantasy Village: Chapter 4 Building a House Next to the Flower Field

Through the layered, dense leaves, faint golden light shone upon the ground.

Not far from the Flower Field, a busy figure was building something.

Bai An chose to build his residence near a small river not far from the Sunflower Field.

Limited by materials, the house was not luxurious; on the contrary, it was simple and plain, with walls built from wood and wooden planks.

Inside, he simply placed doors and windows, a workbench, a bed, and other necessities.

Of course, when he had more time and sufficient materials later, he would naturally rebuild it.

He naturally hoped to live better.

The life he yearned for was nothing more than a beautiful environment, fresh air, with mountains and rivers.

Planting crops and fishing.

Such a life was enough for him.

After building, it was already evening. Bai An lay on the bed he had just made, looking at the scattered stars outside through the window, wondering what he was thinking about.

This was his first sleep in this world. He didn't know if it was because the fluffy big bed was too comfortable or for some other reason, but not long after lying down, his eyelids started to droop.

The next day--

Light shone onto the bed through the window. Perhaps feeling the glare, the young man placed his hand above his eyes, trying to block the sunlight with his palm. At the same time, his long eyelashes trembled slightly, and his dark eyes slowly opened.

He rubbed his tired eyes, stretched slightly, and got out of bed.

He really liked it here. Not only was there a free leveling ground, but the air was also filled with the sweet scent of flowers.

It was much better than his previous life after nuclear war, where the air was polluted and he would hear wailing every day.

If he could, he wanted to stay here forever.

Bai An went all the way to the Sunflower Field, glancing left and right, surveying the surroundings.

After confirming that the person holding the parasol was not there, he decisively switched to his sickle.

...

Bai An's movements were very skilled.

The enhancement of equipment and the increase in strength, combined, made his efficiency several times higher than before.

"Haven't seen You in a few days, I almost thought You died outside."

Just as Bai An was concentrating on the work in his hands, a familiar voice came, causing Bai An's movements to freeze.

He took a deep breath and turned his head. Kazami Yuuka had appeared beside him at some point.

"If I said I was just passing by, would You believe me?"

"Passing by?"

Her crimson eyes stared quietly at Bai An, with a look as if she was looking at an idiot. The hand holding the umbrella handle slowly leveled.

"Stop talking nonsense, let's fight first."

Without giving Bai An a chance to react, as soon as her voice fell, Kazami Yuuka disappeared from her original spot and reappeared in front of him, throwing a punch directly at his forehead.

Bai An quickly moved his body to the side, thus avoiding the fate of being hit hard, and pushed off forcefully, instantly creating distance.

At the same time, he switched to cobblestone blocks and threw them at her. The stone blocks returned to their original size the moment they were thrown out.

His current strength was great; the thrown blocks shot towards Kazami Yuuka like bullets.

Kazami Yuuka's delicate eyebrows slightly raised, a hint of interest flashing in her eyes. She flicked her parasol, and the cobblestones were instantly shattered, turning into dust. In an instant, dust filled the surroundings.

Before the smoke could dissipate, Bai An leaped out of the mist and rushed towards her.

Perhaps it was too late to dodge, or perhaps she wanted to test the other party's strength, she raised her left elbow to block Bai An's punch.
