Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Heading To Ninja School

In the morning, Sasuke changed into the clothes he had washed and dried the night before. Today, he was heading back to the academy. In the vast, silent Uchiha compound, only his small, modest house remained. He stared at his reflection. The familiar indifference in his eyes remained, but now, deep within them, was a hidden spark—a calculated rebellion born from seven days of absolute, transformative power.

Seven days. That was all it took for Sasuke to be completely reborn.

His terrifying talent didn't make learning Ninjutsu feel like studying; it felt like reviewing pre-existing knowledge. He only needed to glance at a technique scroll to memorize the seal sequence. The moment he attempted it, the jutsu would take recognizable shape. With two more attempts, the power would spike, and the technique would achieve the mastery level described on the scroll.

Beyond simple replication, his talent allowed him to instantly grasp the extended forms of each technique—the true essence of Ninjutsu. For example, the Great Fireball Technique was no longer just a large, simple sphere of fire. By compressing its volume, he could create small-area devastation with terrifying density. By diluting the Chakra, he could create a large, low-power area-of-effect attack. He could precisely modulate the Chakra flow to control the fireball's distance, or even hold the flame in front of him, creating a sustained, raging wall of fire.

His status update was dazzling:

For seven days, Sasuke had devoured and internalized all remaining Fire Style Ninjutsu scrolls at home. Of the five new techniques, three were B-rank. Due to the high Chakra demands of B-rank techniques—each one consuming nearly ninety percent of his current total—he was effectively hollowed out after every use. Yet, he persevered. He now understood the system's mastery levels: Beginner, Proficient (Genin level), Grandmaster (Chūnin level), and Small Success (Jōnin level).

His C-rank Ninjutsu were easily pushed to Grandmaster status. He even deliberately spent extra time on one B-rank technique just because of the lasting, potent influence of Madara. Sasuke also successfully cracked the method for one-handed seals—a feat few in the Hokage world achieved. The process was seamless and obvious; his Perfect Talent simply made the mechanical understanding of complex processes inherent. While one-handed sealing seemed useless to the Ōtsutsuki clan, who required no seals at all, the ability to free a hand in combat was invaluable for him.

Furthermore, mastering tree-climbing and water-walking, which required intense focus, immediately earned him the Grandmaster rank in Chakra Control. He could now prevent minute Chakra wastage during physical activity, essentially doubling his effective recovery rate during combat and increasing the power of his Ninjutsu while simultaneously reducing consumption. Combined with his nightly refinement practice, his total Chakra amount had grown by nearly a third over the week. He calculated he would double his Chakra reserves in two weeks—a monstrous rate of progression.

By his own standards, Sasuke knew he was now a threat to a high-level Chūnin or an average Jōnin. Yet, the system's assessment remained "Weak Genin," and his Chakra was still "Rare."

"Did the system misunderstand what a Genin is?" he muttered, shaking his head. Weak Genin? He could now instant-kill a dozen average Genin with a single flurry of Kunai. He concluded the system's standards were simply astronomical—a scope worthy of a "God-Making System." Perhaps its idea of a "standard Genin" was a Kage-level ninja. But no matter the impossible standard, Sasuke was committed. If seven days of dedicated, near-sleepless practice could yield this much, he would achieve the system's minimum goal within the one-month deadline.

Dressed and ready, Sasuke stepped out of the house and walked toward the Ninja Academy.
