Chapter 68 - CH 68 Brutal

"I know you would be here" a male demon spoke and Ryan turned to him "And try to protect these.... 'humans'. But you can't be at two places at the same time, can you?"

Another attack might be going on. The thing is this humans don't even know they're attacked.

"Don't I know you?" Ryan asked.

"Of course. We met ten years ago in Incheon. What a hero you were back then" he chuckled.

"Hmm. I looked really cool, didn't I?"

"Maybe"

"Enough already. Let's get this done so I could get out" she snapped.

"It's been quite a long time I let him out" Ryan spoke "Do not play with his fire. Your remains might not even be seen" he told her, shaking his head slowly.

"Show us what you've got, half breed" he said and Ryan smiled.

"Actually, I don't like that name. But with pleasure I'll show you" he disappeared.

"Where did he go?"

"A coward he is"

"You've just said something that irks both of us" Ryan said from behind them, through his fangs. He pushed them hard and they went flying, falling with a thud. His claws not failing to dig into their flesh.

"Did that hurt? "I'm not sorry" he said indifferently.

"You do have some skills" he said and stood up.

"You just said another attack would be happening. So let's do this real quick" his already awoken beast and it took control of his body. The fight on the plane was brutal. Ryan became a murderous, uncontrollable demon, who thirst for blood. He nearly burned down the whole plane. The others found it extremely difficult to even attack, as he wouldn't give them a chance to. In less than ten minutes, he killed them. Unfreezing the humans, he left for the next fight.

*...*....*....*.....*.....*.....*.....*

"Don't humans bring you to your death, half breed?" the demon asked.

"Do they?" His head tilted to the side "I doubt that. In fact I enjoy this. I get to kill each and every demon who took my mother away from me. For not letting me know what it feels like to be loved by your mother. Do you have any idea how that hurts?" he spoke through clenched teeth.

"No, I don't. It must have been really painful" a hint of sarcasm could be heard in his voice.

"Yeah, it was" Ryan spoke and took steps to the side.

"Have you ever had your heart ripped out?" he asked.

"Not in my dreams."

"I heard my mother's was nearly taken out"

"Oh...so sorry" he sounded sympathetic.

Ryan nodded "Nevermind. Let's get back to business"

The man chuckled, attacking like him like a gust of wind. Once an inch away, Ryan dug his claws into his chest, pulling his heart out. He had his eyes wide in shock, as he slowly vanished. Today wasn't a day for Ryan to waste time. He had to be quick. The man's heart still pumped blood which spilled onto the floor and Ryan's body.

Ryan tilted his head to the side, a devilish grin on his face. "Brutal, aren't I?" he said and chuckled devilishly.

"Have a fun in Hades" he threw his heart away and they both vanished.

'Someone, help us!' the words rang in his ears in distant echoes. He felt suffocated, his veins popping out, sweat breaking on his forehead.

'Help us!'

He fell, growling and groaning in pain. Breathing heavily, he teleported to the voices were coming from. Finding himself in Gangnam, Ryan scanned the area. The voices became even clearer, hurting him even more. He walked ahead in slow, painful, but measured steps.

"What are you?" He heard someone speak, the moment he find the ones calling for help. He could see women who sat on the floor, shaking to their bones. And a demon stood in front of them, holding a sword in his hands. His claws were quite longer, and black.

"The end of you all" he replied.

"Someone, help us, please" one of them cried. Even the dark night contributed to their fear.

"No one would help you" he said "Well except the half breed. But he would be too busy protecting some others. So there's no hope for you"

"Looks like you don't know who you're talking about." Ryan spoke, walking further "I can never be late" he flashed a smile.

"Oh, you are here" the demon said "Welcome to the party. Now instead of thirty, I'll have thirty one souls"

Ryan turned his eyes to the right, he scanned through them. "They're all women?!"

"Pregnant women, actually" he corrected.

"WHY?!" Ryan roared.

"Just to end the human race" he shrugged "Have a world full of only demons. Not half breeds" he made it clear.

"The children in the have done nothing wrong. They're.... innocent" Ryan spoke through clenched teeth.

"I. Don't. Care. About them" he smiled.

"Let them go"

"Is that an order?"

"No" Ryan replied, lowering his head. "I...." he said slowly , almost in a whisper "kindly....." he lifted his head slowly "request." he completed. "Please....."

The demon chuckled lightly "I don't want to"

"Please... Let them go. I'm asking.... nicely" he spoke slowly, literally begging. As calm as the river. Because only he knows what was brewing inside.

"And what would you do if I don't comply?"

"Then...I'll do things the hard way" he lifted his eyes which were like orbs of fire. "Burn down to nothing" he said. His voice stern, as deadly the roaring waves of the sea, ready to devour its prey.

The demon laughed and the next moment, he was on fire. The women shuddered in fear. How is this happening? Ryan stood there, watching him burn, his claws dripping blood. His cries of agony echoed in the night. He burned down completely, not even his ashes could be seen.

"That's what I do when you don't comply" Ryan said. He could hear the uneven breaths and heartbeat beside him. Turning to them, he crouched to their level and they shuddered backwards.

He exhaled "I'm sorry you got stressed like this. Forgive us" he apologized. "And also, forget what just happened. You never saw a demon. You were never kidnapped. You were never saved" he compelled, and they nodded in unison. Hypnotized.

"Have a good life" he said, then disappeared. Teleporting back home.
