Chapter 72 - King of Chips and Television, King of Tsundere and Stubbornness

Xia Mi had recently detected Odin's aura. She was preparing to search for Odin's tracks while integrating into human society.

However, since she had only recently awakened, her body was still in the form of a child, so she could only attend junior high school for now.

The idiot Dragon King, in order to make a living, rushed between various part-time jobs after school every day, from convenience store cashier to restaurant waitress, diligently accumulating money in human society.

Compared to the "King of Earth and Mountain," she should now be called the "King of Part-Time Work and Saving Money."

As the subway train heading into the Nibelungen slowly progressed, a strange and powerful aura suddenly entered her perception.

"This is...!" Xia Mi instantly stood up, her body instinctively entering a state of alert.

The moment the train stopped, she rushed out of the carriage. Dragon scales slowly emerged from her skin, and her eyes transformed into vertical pupils.

"Fenrir!" Xia Mi had only one thought: she must ensure her brother's safety.

Before this, deep within the Nibelungen.

"Erii, what do you think we should bring him?" Ian asked with a smile, taking Erii through the spatial rift near the subway station, easily entering this hidden Nibelungen.

"Snacks!" Erii raised her small hand, her eyes sparkling. "Every child likes snacks."

After Ian's Enhancement, Erii had completely broken free from the shackles of the Dragon Blood and was now much more lively. She was especially excited today to hear she was going to meet a new friend.

"But, will that Dragon King named Fenrir really be friends with me?" Erii pulled on Ian's sleeve, a hint of worry in her voice.

"Of course," Ian rubbed her hair. "You two will definitely become good friends."

Passing through the tunnel, the two arrived in the depths of the Nibelungen. They then saw a giant Dragon whose lower body was integrated into the wall. In front of him was a small Television, and he was clutching a half-eaten bag of Potato Chips in his claw, staring intently at the screen.

"This is Fenrir?" Erii tilted her head and couldn't help but laugh. "He's so cute!"

Fenrir heard the sound and slowly turned his head. Seeing two strangers, he was first surprised, his Dragon Eyes narrowing in vigilance. However, after sensing their gentle auras, he relaxed.

These two humans didn't look like bad people, especially the little girl.

"Hello," Fenrir greeted them in clumsy human language. "Are you here to find me?"

Erii nodded: "Yes, we came to be friends with you."

Fenrir hesitated for a moment, then pushed the remaining half-bag of Potato Chips toward them: "Want some Potato Chips? They're very tasty."

This gesture made Ian and Erii smile at each other. A powerful Dragon was yet so innocent and adorable.

"Thank you!" Erii happily took the Potato Chips. "They really are delicious!"

Seeing that she liked them, Fenrir grinned, revealing his sharp teeth: "Do you want to watch Television together? I'm watching Ultraman. He can defeat all the Monsters!"

Ian looked at Fenrir's expression, then opened his Transmutation Tablet, and a pile of Potato Chips appeared on the ground.

"Since you like Potato Chips so much, these are a gift for you." A mountain of chip bags piled up in front of Fenrir.

"Are... are these all for me?" Fenrir opened his mouth wide, drool trickling from the corner of his mouth.

Before Fenrir could recover, Ian pulled out a giant Television. The screen was enormous, and the picture quality was far superior to Fenrir's old set.

"This is a Controlled Nuclear Fusion Television that I customized at Super Seminary. It doesn't need to be plugged in and will never run out of power," Ian patted the Television. "It has every channel you could want, and you can even stream on demand."

Fenrir's eyes shone. Although he didn't know what Controlled Nuclear Fusion was, he heard that this Television could be watched forever.

"Thank you! Thank you!"

The three then sat down in front of the mountain of snacks and watched Ultraman together.

On the other side, a figure rushed into the Nibelungen.

The partially Dragon-TransformedXia Mi charged in, her body covered in scales, her eyes flashing with a tyrannical light. She was ready to fight a powerful enemy, but then she saw the scene before her.

In front of a small mountain of snacks, Fenrir was watching Ultraman with two strangers, stuffing Potato Chips into his mouth with relish.

"Wha... What is going on here?" Xia Mi froze on the spot, her expression rigid.

"Sister!" Fenrir waved his claw excitedly. "Come see my new Television! And there are tons of Potato Chips!"

Xia Mi snapped back to attention and immediately became alert: "Fenrir, step back!" She quickly shielded Fenrir, staring at Ian and Erii. "Who are you? Why are you here?"

Erii put down her Potato Chips and smiled: "We're not bad people. We just want to make friends."

"Nonsense. Do bad people ever say they're bad people?" Xia Mi sneered, her hands secretly accumulating power.

Ian shook his head with a smile: "Oh, you even know things like that. It seems you've integrated well into human society."

Xia Mi was stunned. How did he know she was integrating into human society? Who exactly were these two people?

She began to gather power. The ground beneath her feet started to crack. Xia Mi decided to strike first. Since these two wouldn't state their purpose, she would subdue them first.

Ian was unhurried. He just signaled to Erii: "Erii, want to go play with this little Dragon Girl?"

Erii nodded, putting down her Potato Chips, a flash of excitement in her eyes.

Although she didn't have much actual combat experience, the Gold Dragon King gene had perfectly integrated Dragon combat instinct and techniques into her bloodline.

Erii clenched her fists. Golden scales emerged from beneath her skin.

Xia Mi saw that the little girl opposite her was also a Dragon, and the color of her scales was so unique. Her heart sank. To achieve this level of Dragon Transformation, she was definitely not an ordinary Dragonborn. Moreover, she had never seen these golden scales on any other Dragon.

The moment the two clashed, air currents surged within the Nibelungen. Erii's and Xia Mi's Word of Power nullified each other. Neither could truly overcome the other. The battle gradually devolved into a scuffle between two little girls, a punch here, a kick there, but neither could genuinely harm the other.

The golden scales on Erii's body shimmered brightly under the faint light, forming a near-perfect defense.

Xia Mi tried to find a weakness but found that even the occasional hit only caused minor, insignificant wounds, which healed in the blink of an eye.

'What kind of Monster is this guy?' Xia Mi thought to herself.

Fenrir paced anxiously on the side, trying several times to rush forward and stop them, but Ian held him back each time.

"Don't worry, they're just playing."

Since her Enhancement, Erii had been eager to find someone to test her strength against but lacked a suitable opponent. Now, she had met a well-matched Little Dragon Girl.

The fight lasted for a long time, but neither could win. Xia Mi finally couldn't take it anymore. She back-jumped to create distance, questioning breathlessly: "Who exactly are you? Are you a leftover piece left by the White King?"

She sensed the White King's aura in Erii's Word of Power, which made her extremely wary.

Hearing this, Ian said nothing. He simply closed his eyes, and his body began to transform. Golden light radiated from within him, and then his figure rapidly expanded.

In the blink of an eye, a giant Dragon nearly ten thousand meters long appeared in the Nibelungen, its massive body directly shattering the surrounding structures. Golden scales shone brightly in the darkness. The Dragon's body was as dazzling as the sun, and the Dragon Horns on its head were as majestic as a crown.

Xia Mi was too shocked to speak.

'What kind of Dragon is this? The size is too exaggerated! Fenrir isn't even as big as his claw, and even the Black King is only about the size of his head.'

What was even more shocking to her was the Dragon's appearance—entirely golden and self-luminous. The Dragon Horns on its head were like a crown. Its overall presence was completely different from the Dragons she knew, as if it belonged to a different style entirely.

"I am the Primordial Gold Dragon King," Ian's voice echoed throughout the Nibelungen. "You have two paths before you now: one is to be beaten to death by me, have your soul extracted, and then submit to me; the second is to submit to me directly."

Xia Mi was about to object, but Ian continued: "Join my ranks, and you will have endless money, endless Potato Chips, and all threats in this world will cease to exist."

The five words, "endless Potato Chips," struck Fenrir. His eyes immediately lit up, and he shook Xia Mi's body wildly: "Sister! Sister! Agree to him quickly!"

Xia Mi also hesitated. She knew how hard money was to earn. No! She knew how dangerous the Black King was. Resistance against the Black King was virtually meaningless.

But the aura of this Gold Dragon in front of her was several times stronger than the Black King's.

"Furthermore," Ian added, "if you join my ranks, I can solve Fenrir's physical and intellectual problems."

Hearing this, Xia Mi no longer hesitated. She immediately nodded: "We join."
