Chapter 548 - MTC Chapter 577: Cosmic Form, Could He Be an Old God?

Under Yang Yi's "correction," the spiral curse of Kurouzu Town was completely transformed into pixel blocks, returning to eternal peace.

The incident had finally come to an end.

"We're heading to America. We can't leave Tokyo completely unmonitored."

"Kyoko, Hana, and Yuria, you three will stay here for now and handle some simple commissions."

Yang Yi made the arrangements for the girls.

The newly received "Final Destination" commission from America sounded quite interesting, so he decided to make the trip himself.

"This is a good opportunity. It's about time you learned to handle things independently."

Leaving them with those words, Yang Yi took his eldest disciple, Miko, and Tomie—who always delighted in chaos—and hopped into the Batmobile.

The engine let out a low roar as the vehicle took to the sky, transforming into a streak of black light aimed straight across the Pacific Ocean toward America.

The Batmobile tore through the sky at several times the speed of sound. Up in the stratosphere, even the air currents felt exceptionally smooth.

Miko pressed herself against the window, her small face filled with awe.

Below them was a boundless expanse of azure blue, dotted with cotton-candy clouds. This was an experience she had never even imagined before.

However, this tranquility was soon shattered.

As if the high-speed vehicle had crossed into some specific territory, Yang Yi instantly brought it to a hovering halt.

"Look down," Yang Yi said.

Miko and Tomie followed his gaze and looked down.

With just one glance, Miko felt it hard to breathe.

Her enhanced vision allowed her to directly see a massive dark silhouette covered in jagged carapace slowly moving across the ocean floor. Just the row of dorsal fins on its back looked like a continuous mountain range.

In the distance, on the abyssal plain, a giant octopus the size of an island was churning its countless tentacles through the ruins of an underwater city, searching for something.

There was also a massive, winged creature resembling a Western dragon, slumbering in the scorching heat of an underwater volcanic crater.

Godzilla, the Kraken, Leviathan...

These terrifying behemoths, which supposedly only existed in human myths, legends, and disaster movies, were now densely lurking in the deep seas of this planet, forming a spine-chilling, utterly horrifying underwater ecosystem.

"How is this possible? These monsters are so huge—how could humanity not have noticed them?"

Miko's small mouth fell slightly open; she couldn't find the words to describe the shock in her heart.

"Tch, just a bunch of big, dumb brutes."

Tomie crossed her arms and curled her lips in disdain, but her faintly gleaming eyes betrayed her inner excitement.

Right at that moment, an encrypted communication signal was intercepted by Yang Yi and broadcasted directly into the cockpit.

"Command Center! This is 'Watcher 7'! The activity level of the target 'Titan' is spiking!"

An anxious and tense voice rang out.

"The influence of the Doomsday Prophecy is growing stronger. Crustal movements and spatial anomalies are frequently agitating these slumbering giants."

Another, more composed voice responded, though it carried a deep sense of powerlessness.

"Pacify them as quickly as possible! If their territorial dispute spirals out of control, the resulting chain of tsunamis and earthquakes will hit the West Coast in a matter of hours!"

This was a communication from the containment organization.

They seemed to be frantically scrambling to figure out how to quell the wrath of these marine behemoths.

Before the voice even faded, the ocean ahead suddenly exploded.

A monster resembling a blue whale—yet dozens of times larger than the biggest blue whale—burst out of the water. Its entire body was covered in a thick, biological stratum corneum. It had no eyes, but its head was riddled with bizarre holes, and it emitted a terrifying infrasonic wave from its mouth.

Opposite it was another, even more hideous behemoth.

It was a terrifying creature thousands of meters long, resembling a giant deep-sea moray eel. It had a ferocious, gaping maw filled with row upon row of fine, razor-sharp teeth.

"Detecting overlapping energy fields between 'The Bloop' and 'Maya'! They're about to fight!" a pilot's despairing voice echoed through the containment organization's internal comms.

In the airspace surrounding the two behemoths, dozens of the containment organization's helicopters hovered like flies buzzing around lions—tiny and powerless.

The pilots' palms were slick with cold sweat as they gripped their control sticks.

Faced with this mythological spectacle, they felt nothing but despair.

Fortunately, their mission wasn't to fight, but to draw the monsters' attention and keep them temporarily pacified until backup fighter jets arrived.

"Roar—!!!"

"The Bloop" (the whale-like creature) launched the first attack.

The invisible infrasonic waves manifested into a visible shockwave, blasting toward Maya.

The behemoth Maya (the eel-like creature) displayed an agility completely disproportionate to its massive size.

Its colossal, serpentine body twisted in the ocean, instantly dodging the lethal shockwave. At the same time, it unhinged its tooth-filled, bloodthirsty maw and viciously snapped at its opponent.

BOOM—!!!

The two behemoths violently clashed together.

Every single impact triggered a terrifying shockwave in the deep sea, comparable to a magnitude 10 earthquake.

Above the surface, monstrous waves a hundred meters high were churned up. The sky darkened from the massive amount of water vapor, accompanied by roaring thunder, flashing lightning, and torrential rain.

The scene looked exactly like the apocalyptic destruction depicted in the Bible.

"Fight! Yeah! Just like that! Bite it!"

Inside the Batmobile, Tomie pulled out a bucket of popcorn. Chewing loudly, she excitedly slapped the window, cheering the two behemoths on.

Seeing that one of the behemoth's energy readings was about to reach a critical point—where its next attack would trigger a natural disaster—

Yang Yi stood up. "Showtime is over."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Yang Yi's figure vanished from the cockpit.

The next second.

Under the horrified gazes of all the containment organization pilots in the airspace below, a giant—even more colossal than the two Titan behemoths—parted the heavy clouds and slowly descended.

He radiated a divine golden light, more blazing and dazzling than the sun itself. His very existence caused the surrounding space-time to slightly warp, as if this world could not bear the weight of his descent.

The two behemoths, which had been frantically slaughtering each other, instantly ceased all movement.

A primal fear, stemming from the very core of their beings, forced a rare moment of lucidity into their rage-consumed minds.

Facing the two behemoths, Yang Yi raised his fists and delivered two solid *bang-bang* punches right on top of their heads.

The moment the fists landed, the two terrifying Titan behemoths rolled their eyes back. Their massive bodies went limply paralyzed, slowly sinking back into the bottomless depths of the ocean.

The containment organization's global command center fell into a dead silence.

Everyone stared blankly at the footage being transmitted back to the main screen.

After a long while, the commander finally spoke, his voice trembling.

"R-raise the threat level of the entity codenamed [Blockman]... to the absolute maximum!"

He paused, then with trembling fingers, typed a line of speculation into the file's remarks—a guess that even he found insane.

—"Judging by the abilities displayed by the target... it is highly probable that he is an 'Old God' who has awakened early from his cage."

Inside the Batmobile, Yang Yi returned to his original size.

Miko still had her small mouth open, completely immersed in the miraculous spectacle she had just witnessed, unable to snap out of it for a long time.

Beside her, Tomie suddenly lunged forward, tightly hugging Yang Yi's waist. Her large eyes sparkled with an unprecedented, fanatical light.

"That was so cool!"

"Please teach me! I want to learn how to get huge like that too!"
