Chapter 50 - 50

Walked into Stark Industries.

The entrance was a giant Arc Reactor.

This was the biggest capital that allowed Stark Industries to stand strong.

No matter how many things Tony Stark invented.

The existence of the Arc Reactor always kept Stark Industries at the forefront of the energy industry.

After becoming a Captain Marvel.

A lot of Tony Stark's energy was spent on this unprofitable, free career as a Captain Marvel.

But he never lacked money.

Even Nolan felt a bit envious watching him.

Actually, he had considered whether or not to spend a large sum of money on advanced energy technology.

But as soon as he saw the Arc Reactor, he knew.

This was not the optimal solution for him to make money.

There were clearly so many other fields, yet he would compete with a genius who was hundreds of years ahead of the World in energy.

That could only be described as being stubborn.

A businessman should obviously not be stubborn.

As for Sharon Carter.

Her face was full of amazement.

Compared to Stark Industries, Locke Technology looked like a ruin.

She was too obvious.

Nolan saw through her thoughts almost immediately.

Damn rookie Agent.

Can't even manage such a simple disguise!

"If you like it here, you can stay and work here too."

"No, I really like Locke Technology."

Sharon Carter said this with obvious insincerity.

Of course, at this time, her expression no longer showed anything unusual.

She was an Agent after all, not that incompetent.

"I hope so."

Nolan said this and walked forward, but after only a few steps, he suddenly stopped and said:

"The construction concept of Locke Technology is the Hive.

What you see now is just the top of the Hive, you haven't seen the real Hive yet.

If there's a chance, I'll take you down to see it."

Hearing this, a hint of curiosity appeared on Sharon Carter's face.

Nolan didn't explain.

Well... the lower part of the current Hive.

It looks even more like a ruin than the top.

To complete the Hive Base, it would take at least a few more months.

Moreover, it would require an investment of at least over a billion!

Slowly now...

How could these things compare to System technology?

Tony Stark already knew about Nolan's visit.

He arranged for his new secretary.

Regarding the new secretary.

He was very satisfied.

Just by looking at her a few times, he found it hard to look away.

This secretary named Natasha Romanoff.

Had an excellent figure, a pair of long legs, and an S-class waistline.

Even though he had seen many beautiful women, she still made his eyes light up.

"Natasha, go make a cup of hand-ground coffee, oh, right, and a cup of instant."

Natasha nodded, then went down to make the coffee.

Natasha had just left.

Nolan walked in with Sharon Carter.

"Yo, Tony, long time no see."

Tony forced a smile.

"Is that so, it could have been even longer."

Saying this, he glanced at Sharon Carter.

Sharon Carter was full of youthful vigor, coupled with her beautiful face and perfect figure, she was clearly a beauty no less impressive than Natasha.

The only problem was...

"Nolan, your secretary looks a bit... bold?"

Meeting Tony Stark's slightly meaningful expression.

Nolan smirked and said seriously:

"This is our company's professional attire, please do not insult this clothing!"

Tony Stark's expression became very interesting.

And Sharon Carter, outwardly calm, was inwardly cursing Nolan to hell and back.

Soon, Natasha returned carrying two cups of coffee.

The moment she saw Sharon Carter, her body paused.

Although Sharon Carter was young, she was also a very excellent junior Agent.

The two exchanged glances and information.

"What's going on?" Natasha asked calmly.

Sharon Carter's expression remained unchanged, but her eyes were full of helplessness.

Natasha quickly understood everything.

She couldn't help but twitch her lips.

This Boss of Locke Technology was even more unreliable than the playboy Tony Stark.

She looked at Sharon Carter with some sympathy.

Although Nolan was chatting with Tony Stark.

He was paying attention to the two women the entire time.

Wasn't the meeting of two Agent secretaries very interesting?

He chuckled, then picked up a cup of coffee and took a sip.

"Instant coffee?"

Nolan looked at Tony Stark with dissatisfaction, mocking:

"Are you a child?"

Being called a child would make a normal person angry, let alone Tony Stark.

He sneered:

"No, that's because here, you only have this status.

After all, you are just a small shareholder of Stark Industries!"

Nolan's expression remained unchanged as he drank the instant coffee.

"Small shareholder?

Sorry, I forgot to tell you.

Before coming, I was no longer a shareholder of Stark Industries.

After all, Stark Industries is just so-so.

Putting money in Stark Industries simply doesn't make much money."

Tony Stark furrowed his brow, and the two men locked eyes.

In this round, the outcome was decided!

Nolan suddenly spoke:

"Your body doesn't look like it's in very good condition."

Tony Stark's face looked unnatural.

Then his expression suddenly became somewhat dejected.

"As expected, I couldn't hide it from you, you guessed right, although the miniaturized Arc Reactor saved me from death.

But the palladium element in it is like a slowly approaching grim reaper for me.

If this continues, I'm afraid I won't live much longer."

Hearing Tony Stark's words, Nolan shook his head and offered a suggestion, saying:

"Perhaps you could have surgery to remove those shrapnel pieces.

Coincidentally, I know a Doctor named Stephen Strange, he is absolutely the top surgeon in this World."

Tony Stark pouted.

"I've already asked, the success rate of the surgery is less than 30%, I, Tony Stark, even if I die, I will never die on that damn operating table!"

"You're scared!"

Nolan didn't indulge him.

"No."

"Coward."

"fack!"

Tony Stark suddenly exploded.

He had just stood up, then abruptly sat back down.

"Okay, you're right, I am indeed scared."

After Tony Stark told the truth, Nolan didn't provoke him further.

His main purpose for coming today was actually for this matter.

When he saw Sharon Carter, he remembered that Nick Fury had once used this matter to make Tony Stark stand on his side.

But now, with Nolan here.

He wouldn't care what Nick Fury thought.

Although Tony Stark had a terrible temper.

He was a hero.

Heroes should not be held hostage!

"I once heard my father talk about something."

Nolan first glanced at the two female Agents, then spoke unhurriedly:

"Howard Stark was a very talented person, his son can't even compare to his toenails."

Facing Tony Stark's clearly unfriendly but conflicted gaze.

Nolan continued:

"Back then, Howard Stark once proposed many interesting ideas.

But these ideas, limited by the constraints of the era, could not become reality, and eventually they were hidden in a place no one knew about.

And he named it the Future City Project!

I think there might be something in there that could help you.

And that place is somewhere you definitely know."
