Chapter 4 - Anomalous Entity

Julien then focused on the next thing in line: The Titles.

[Progenitor: You are the Origin. The Original. The very first of this bloodline.

A bloodline from the combined souls of Julien Valecrest–a pure blood vampire–and Julien Presly–a soul from another world, the inheritor of Celestial favor.

When the souls fused, a new race was born. The Celestial Vampire.

>Origin Aura(Passive)(LVL1)

Individuals with low will-power have an instictual feeling of inadequacy when in your presence.

Currently the Bloodline abilities is locked due to low rank of the Progenitor, but fret not, with each power up a new ability gets unlocked.]

Julien was trying really hard to come to terms with his new life, but each time when he thinks he was over it, the system throws a fork in his path.

A new race?

This will complicate things.

First of all, it means that he will have to keep a lot of things about himself a secret. He is something unknown and everyone is scared of the unknown.

So if they happen to find out that he is a total anomaly, something never before seen, they will put out a manhunt for his head.

He could deal with a problem like this by just getting so strong that no one dares form the thought of ever standing against him.

But until then, he will have to be cautious.

And secondly, things can get dangerous when he is in a life threathening position, but can't go all out because he has a audience and revealing too much will have major consequences.

That could possibly get him killed.

Thirdly, how was he supposed to gauge how powerful he is compared to other beings?

He is a total new race, nothing about him is known and if he doesn't even know about himself, then how can he protect himself from the dangers?

But Julien hopes that the system can help him with this.

[The Celestial's Beloved: The Celestials–beings of absolute power and authority–is obsessed with you.

>Reflection(Passive)(LVL1)

Manipulating the moons reflection ability to reflect incoming sneak attacks up to adept rank.

(24 Cooldown)

Abilities locked due to low rank.]

"..."

Julien was left speechless.

He didn't know what to say, what to feel or what to do. His emotions were in turmoil.

Should he be happy for their adoration or concerned.

From what he gathered: the Celestials are the ones responsible for his transmigration, and it is never a good sign whenever there is a situation where Gods or beings of absolute power are directly involved.

That situation is basically fucked.

Something he learned from reading countless novels

The lack of information is also concerning.

Who exactly is obsessed with him? It can't possibly be all the Celestial Deities, right? There has to be some outlier, someone sane enough to find these proceedings absolute absurd.

Or someone who is jealous of the attention he is getting. And no, he is not exaggerating.

Gods are petty like that.

Also, why? Why him? What makes him so special? Not to sound insecure or something, but he can't remember anything remotely impressive about him from his past life.

He would know.

And what is the consequences? What price would he have to pay?

Julien is not stupid enough to think that all this divine favor comes without something to pay for.

Something as good as this, always comes with a price to pay. A heavy one at that.

"This is so fucked up."

Choosing to leave the complications to the future Julien, he moved on to the next title.

[The Prince of Blood and Stars: Born from Vampire Royalty literally makes you a Prince. A Prince of Blood.

The Ruler of the Stars, Goddess @#$&@, adopted you, making you her heir. All that is left, is for you to ascend and claim your rightful place.

>Nebula Shroud(Active) (LVL1)

Create a cloud of cosmic dust to obscure vision.

(30 minute cooldown)

Abilities locked due to low rank]

"..."

Julien decided to keep quiet.

The situation is getting out of hand the more he read, he felt that if he held his tongue things might get better.

[Bloodsucker: You are what you eat.]

"..."

[Anomaly: You're a singularity. The first and last of its kind.

>One of a kind(Passive) (Unique)

The laws of the world don't apply to you.]

"That's... sooo fucking vague."

The only thing that comforted Julien was the knowledge that it was a unique skills. These are known to be absurdly powerful, so maybe his will be too.

He just didn't have the opportunity to test it yet.

[The Exiled Heir: Due to a scheme from jealous siblings which led to being accused(falsely, of course) of sexual assault, Julien was sentenced to exile from the Royal Family, indefinitely.

They sent him packing with only the clothes on his back and some money.

+10 000 000 Unicreds

>Bat Exterminator(Passive)(LVL1)

+1 to all stats when facing off against a vampire.]

"Sibling rivalry, exile. The cliché stuff. Well, not that it has anything to do with me.

And 'indefinitely'? Does that mean that they can call me back whenever they felt like it?

Yeah, no. That's not happening.

More importantly... does that mean I'm rich?"

Julien didn't know how much value that amount of money has, didn't know if he was rich or not, but he sure hope he was.

Only time would tell.

"Let's see... No class, huh? Maybe, just like other novels, I get to pick one at level 10."

Julien's gaze shifted to his affinities next and what he saw momentarily made his brain lagged, and his nervous systems fry.

Julien was once again reminded about how absurd and anomalous his existence actually is.

11 Affinities and all of them are OP. The best of the best. Each of them rare, and having only one can make a person insanely strong.

And he has eleven of them.

And what baffled him more is that ten of them came from him, Julien Presly.

Well, they actually came from the Celestials, but who cares?

His eyes focused on his rank,"Novice", he didn't know the power system of this world, but he could tell that he is at the very foot of the ladder.

His level–level 1–further cemented that thought.

Looking at his stats, he didn't know if he was considered strong or weak–if one took in account his age and level–but the one thing that stood out first, was his intelligence.

The only single digit number among the bunch.

A 9.

"Does this mean I'm dumb?"

This was concerning.

Julien always thought himself as a smart individual, at least when it concerns learning, his education in his past life prove that.

Effortlessly pulling off a GPA of 4.0 despite his athletic commitment and his depressed state after the incident.

If that single digit is considered inadequate, he will fight the system tooth and nail to regain his dignity.

And then, there was the Mana stat.

A 100 points.

Again, he didn't know what was considered the norm in this world, so he would put off commenting on that after he had done thorough research.

Lastly from his stats, was Charm.

Which is completely empty, no numbers, just a line.

Referencing back to his novel knowledge, he knows that charm indicate how handsome one was, how fluidly you engage in conversation with another person, and that it can influence how others see you.

Julien have not yet come across a mirror in this apartment, meaning that he is still unaware of how he looked.

This should've have been one of the first things one should do once you transmigrated to another novel.

So many novels has that opening scene.

And Julien just broke the tradition.

He truly is a singularity.

"Damn."

Is the only thing that came out of Julien's mouth when he saw himself in mirror.

His eyes–a deep crimson, undeniably the sign of a vampire. But his came with a twist: there was a white cross in his pupil.

The crimson in his irises had sparkling dots dancing in them that looked like stardust.

"Heh. The irony. A vampire and crosses. The church will shout blasphemy when they see this."

His skin–smooth and unnaturally pale. It was so perfect it made women insecure about their own.

His jaw–sculpted, chiseled, forge until perfection.

His nose–long and straight. The perfect fit.

His lips–pink, thick and full.

His hair–silvery-white–the Valecrest signature–only added to his otherworldy allure.

Julien removed his shirt in one smooth motion.

Revealing a sculpted physique, toned muscle and a eight pack.

In simpler terms: bro was hot, and he knows it.

"I'm so gonna use this to my advantage."

He was already scheming about how he was going to use all his assets to his advantage.

"It can't get better than this, can it?"

Julien reached out to his pants and pulled them forward revealing his manhood in its slumbered state.

"It can"

With his observation done, Julien can confirm that any future lover he will have, will not be left unsatisfied.

In fact it will be the opposite, they will be thoroughly satisfied.
