Stellan stepped forward and whispered to me.
Eve snapped back to reality and shook her head, "No, I've been feeling out of sorts lately, unable to concentrate, my mind just keeps wandering. I'm not unhappy or feeling bored."
Stellan breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good. If you ever find home boring, just let me know, I can take you to lots of fun places."
Eve nodded, "Thank you."
"I'll heat up the chicken feet for you; they just came out of the fridge, so they're a bit cold."
Saying this, Stellan turned towards the kitchen, and soon returned with a glass of orange juice, tangy and sweet. Eve finished it in one gulp and continued to watch Stellan's busy silhouette in the kitchen with a dazed look.
Wyatt finished washing the dishes and winked at her from the side.
Eve sighed softly, unsure where to start, and let her eyelashes droop.
