"Are you teaching me how to do things?"
Autumn Ellison snorted coldly, "Looks like you're determined to keep Stellan in your grasp. Fine, you two can enjoy your own life, but the Sutton Family won't foot the bill for it anymore."
After speaking, Autumn Ellison gave her a cold glance before turning to leave.
Eve Sherman realized belatedly that her back was drenched in sweat, and her palms were clammy.
The young nurse nearby didn't dare say much, but had already absorbed most of the drama.
"Miss Sherman, was that lady your husband's mother?"
Eve Sherman cleared her throat but said nothing.
"Technically, revealing a patient's privacy is wrong, but since you're family, I'll tell you secretly: she often comes to our hospital for check-ups. I don't know what she checks for, and I dare not ask or tell even if I knew, but I've seen her here quite a few times. Shouldn't you talk to your husband to show some care?"
Eve Sherman felt a pang in her heart upon hearing this.
