Eve Sherman paused, unsure how to respond. Right now, anything she said seemed futile; Stellan Sutton was probably already afraid of putting any pressure on her.
Thinking this, Eve felt a bit helpless.
When Stellan finished bathing and came in, she watched him lie down on the sofa with familiarity, and suddenly felt a bit sorry for him.
"Why don't you come to sleep beside me?"
Eve pointed beside her, and Stellan, who was covering himself with a blanket, froze suddenly.
"What's going on, you're so proactive today."
Eve awkwardly cleared her throat, "Isn't it because you'll get used to it later, and opportunities like this won't come by as often?"
Upon hearing this, Stellan was silent for a while. Normally, he would reject, but since Eve said so today, rejecting seemed pointless. He then stood up and moved to the other side of the bed, sitting down.
