Eve Sherman grabbed Stellan Sutton's wrist, wearing a smile on her face, then pulled him aside.
"Why are you doing this all of a sudden?"
Stellan smiled at her, "I got some criticism after going back, and felt my proposal might have been a bit rushed, so I prepared again. Don't you like it?"
"I'm not really fond of such occasions, but with so many people watching, I can't very well let you lose face."
Eve said, looking quietly into Stellan's eyes, "Do you understand what I mean by saying this?"
Stellan's gaze dimmed a little, "I understand what you mean."
"Mm."
Eve nodded, "So how long are you all planning to party tonight? I was already a bit tired before coming."
"Probably for a while longer."
"My mom will get angry if she finds out about all this you've arranged today."
"Are you angry?"
Stellan asked seriously.
Eve pursed her lips, thought for a moment, and still shook her head.
"I think it's your heartfelt gesture, so there's no need to be angry."
