The 'talented girl' persona was hyped to the whole internet; marketing accounts claimed that if Gigi Grant hadn't been spotted by a famous director for a movie, getting an international prize in the dance world would have been just a matter of time. They called her a lost gem of the dance world.
Gigi Grant's fan count doubled, and drama crews and brand representatives lined up to negotiate deals and endorsements with her.
In the company, Bannon hung up the phone and turned to see Gigi Grant grinning at him, a smile tugging at her lips as she spoke: "So? I didn't let you down, did I?"
Gigi Grant nodded with a bright smile, then pursed her lips thoughtfully: "Why hasn't there been any news from Renee Morgan's side yet?"
Bannon let out a scoffing laugh, switched hands with his phone, sat down across from her, and said with calm confidence: "What's the rush? The real drama's just getting started. When things blow up a bit more, that's when we reel them in. Just wait."
